The family-friendly unit is on the upstairs level and features two bedrooms, a welcoming living room, a covered patio, a bathroom, and a kitchen with recently updated appliances. You can sun bathe, swim, and paddleboard right in the nearby harbor. Enjoy great sunsets and frame memorable photos. Relax in the cool ocean breeze and dine while taking in the Harbor sights.

The property is upstairs, but everything is on a single level. Each bedroom and living space with a level of privacy that makes this 1,250 square foot property feel extra roomy. This property is filled with amenities through its 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom to make your stay more relaxing. Upon entry, you’ll notice that the living room has a big picture window to maximize your view and extends onto the great balcony! The living room features a large flat screen TV. The kitchen features recently updated appliances and is stocked should you want to prepare a great meal.

The master bedroom also features a flat screen TV. The second bedroom features two twin beds. The living room also has a sofa-sleeper for those extra guests!

The local sweet tooth treasures have been mainstays for nearly 75 years, and have been imitated and replicated, including on the hit TV show “Arrested Development.” The tasty treats are dipped in chocolate and covered with a variety of coatings from nuts and sprinkles to cookie crumbs.

If you want to visit the DISNEYLAND RESORT area, our property is located just under 20 miles to the resort and it's two main parks - DISNEYLAND and DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE. Make sure you check out STAR WARS LAND! After a great day at the parks, you can return back to your beach front oasis, refresh, relax, and take a stroll down to the beach.

If you are interested in the Laguna Beach PAGEANT OF MASTERS during July, this is a fantastic place to stay. Lyft or Uber is the way to get to the event. You can enjoy a nice glass of wine on the patio before your ride takes you to Laguna Beach.

Additional local attractions include Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Aquarium of the Pacific, South Coast Plaza, and the Fun Zone!

Balboa Island near ferry
Excellent information provided ahead of check in. Covered reserved parking a great plus. Loved the kitchen and living area. Queen bed and pillows were very comfortable. Particularly enjoyed the heater in the bathroom on our cold winter morning. Close to all the action....two minute walk to the ferry to get to the peninsula, 5 minute walk to get to the cute downtown area. The neighborhood does an amazing job decorating for Christmas. We enjoyed our stay.

Even though I booked thru VRBO, this property is managed by iTrip. My only negative comment is I had to pay a $140 fee to VRBO. But thereafter all arrangements and communication was thru iTrip. iTrip was very helpful, professional and courteous. Checkin and Checkout was excellent and all communication with iTrip was exceptional, fast responses, and Courteous.

We enjoyed the location of this home! Easy to take the ferry or walk into town. Home was beautiful and having a parking spot every day and not having to look for on street parking was icing on the cake! The cleaning person forgot to change the sheets in the master bedroom because they were not clean at all but I am sure it was just an oversight. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Just what we were looking for on Balboa Island
Property is just as pictured. No frills but very well organized, everything very easy to use. A/C works very well, BBQ grill is really great, all kitchen appliances in good working order, bath towels fresh, soft and plentiful, roomy closets. Great location if you want close to ferry, easy walking to bayfront.

Great place on Balboa Island
We were participating in a paddling training camp at the Newport Aquatic Centre. It was a very comfortable space for 2 adults but could have fit 4 if needed. We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen as we were cooking healthy meals at home. Property manager was very responsive. Only took advantage of the included e-bike rental one day because we were otherwise busy - it was a wonderfully fun way to explore the area.

We stayed here for nine days and every was great. We visited the Fun Zone via the Balboa Ferry had lunch in the Pavilion which was excellent. Scott the property manager was great to work with we wanted and extra day and was not a problem. Nice quiet place and close to a lot of activities. We will stay here again when in town.

Wonderful!!! We stayed 7 nights at this apartment. Could not have been happier with the location. Parking was a luxury if anyone has stayed on Balboa Island knows. Would love to return. Kitchen has everything you would need, we hosted a small dinner group and had plenty of room. Balcony provides added space for morning coffee and cocktails. Very happy with our choice.

Great place to stay, quiet at night but Balboa Island is just amazing. The kitchen is adequately stocked, but if you are planning on doing some extensive cooking bring your spices, etc. Beds are comfortable, and love the fact this place has an AC!!

We wanted to visit Balboa Island in the "off" season and it was just as we hoped. Quiet and lovely weather, and the location of this rental worked out perfect for us. We loved being able to open the French doors and letting the weather in. Property Manager was very responsive and helpful, and also welcomed us nicely. Also loved the proximity to Todos Santos which had a great coffee bar in the morning and excellent food and service as well.

Awesome Property
Property was in a perfect location. A short walk to the strip of shops / restaurants on balboa island. Hop right on to the ferry to get over to the balboa peninsula. Have an awesome Mexican restaurant right underneath. Convenient effortless parking. Had the pleasure of hearing a band at the balboa park which you can see from the balcony. Peaceful quant little spot perfect for a family of 4-5.

We have stayed in several rentals in the Newport Beach area. This place is definitely a favorite! Clean, amazing location, plenty of room, awesome kitchen. We stayed here during the first hurricane in the area in over 80 years. The owners kept us informed, and checked on us throughout the storm. We were safe and sound in this rental. Can’t wait until our next stay!

Comfortable getaway on Balboa Island
Spent 6 nights at this comfortable, spacious apartment. The kitchen is probably the best I’ve experienced at a vacation home. Super close to the ferry and about a mile into the Main Street where there are shops and restaurants. Our host left a welcoming note and a bottle of wine, checking in and out was easy.

The welcome package along with precise instructions and labeling was perfect. Settling in was very easy. When I had a question, Scott was very responsive and even followed up to make sure I was good. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet which made for very restful sleep. I came to Cali for work but I can't wait to make a return visit and would like to stay at this rental property again. It was the ideal environment for easy Cali living. It added to my overall Cali experience.

Awesome Balboa Island Flat
This was my second time staying at this Balboa Island Flat and it will be my go-to place for future visits. Last time it was me alone, this time with my wife, daughter and her husband. My son lives in Newport 10 minutes away, and this flat is an ideal place to set up base and chill for several days. Superbly comfortable, classy, well-stocked condo in a can't-be-beat location, 1 block from the ferry dock, 8 minute walk from the island's main drag with its quaint restaurant/bars/shops, a great coffee shop/breakfast place right downstairs, and the unique features of a dedicated covered parking spot plus AC in every room if needed (it wasn't this time, but it was the first time). I practically live on the balcony. The coded door lock makes check-in/check-out seamless, and Spencer was extremely quick to respond to my emails for both visits (including a midnight email the day before arrival--sorry Spencer!) My 2 favorite things: (1) walk downstairs, step on the ferry a block away ($1.50) which runs every 10 minutes or so, walk 2 blocks on the other side of the bay and within 15 minutes I'm on the main beach with a book and blanket watching the sunset; and (2) every I night when all is quiet I stroll the island perimeter soaking in the beautiful harbor sights and gorgeous homes, stopping occasionally on a bench along the way to take it all in. This is a special place, whether for a family reunion or a romantic getaway.
