Overcliff is a beautifully unique property with a sea view within easy access to the seaside resort of Mundesley, Norfolk

The accommodation is set on two levels just a stones throw away from the beach and offers TEN bedrooms and a cosy games room. Outside: BBQ, comfortable garden furniture, private hot tub. 3 well behaved dogs are allowed, additional dogs may be allowed at the owners discretion and for an additional fee.

Mundesley is a charming coastal village which has a parade of independent shops. There are also pubs and places to eat and stay, and the streets are lined with traditional flint buildings and cottages. Mundesley is also home three churches as well as a Maritime Museum, believed to be one of the smallest museums in England! Opposite the museum is a World War II memorial to the men who lost their lives while clearing landmines from award winning blue flag beaches.

A nine-hole golf course built in 1901, sits on the hillside of the River Mun valley and offers unrivalled views over the coast and countryside. For family fun, there is crazy golf, a skate park, play areas and a tennis court. In the Summer there is a surf school and jet sky launch and there are geo-caches for treasure hunters. Throughout the year, visitors can enjoy exhibitions, fayres, festivals and concerts in the village halls and parks.

Equally Overcliff is a great base to explore further afield. Among the huge variety of experiences on offer, a trip to see Norfolk’s very own seal colonies is a real treat.

The space

This fabulous seaside home offers plenty of space & flexibility, sleeping and seating up to 20 guests. Just a short walk to the beautiful sandy beaches.

Upon arriving at Overcliff you enter through the bright airy entrance hall where the dark wood flooring in the house contrasts beautifully with white walls and contemporary art work. to the right is a separate cosy sitting room is a light and bright space with luxury sofas. Back into to the entrance hall and this leads through to the expansive L-shaped dining room has settees, a log burner and a table seating up to 18 with patio doors to the garden. We offer the luxury of 2 kitchens with dishwasher, washing machine, utensils, cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs and gadgets.

We also provide tea, coffee & condiments aiming to make your stay as easy as possible.

The separate games room is located at the far end of the house, with pool table and a flexible space for watching TV, playing games or relaxing with views out to the garden via the patio doors.

It has 11 individually styled bedrooms, 7 of which are en-suite. 2 double bedrooms are on the ground floor.

Recently corporate firms have been using the house mid week for team building/training exercises and we are getting some great feedback. The 18 seat table, large dining room, kitchen with tea and coffee, 11 beds (7 ensuite) games room, use of all facilities is proving very popular

Perfect family stay.
Plenty of lovely bright rooms and living areas, as a family of 17 we didn't feel restricted as everyone had space to move around. Access to the beach is only for the able-bodied so with one family member with mild mobility problems and one 80 years old we couldn't go without driving to where access was easier.

We picked this house for our family getaway and loved it. Perfect for everyone to have their own space while still having the space to socialise as well. Mundesley itself is a bit quiet, but well located to drive to many other places on the Norfolk coast

Amazing long weekend away
Overcliff lodge was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect size and in such a good location. The rooms were very clean with really good bathrooms and beds really comfy. There was 20 of us and there was plenty of communal areas where we could all sit together and spend quality time. I will definitely book again for me and my family, very happy indeed. 50th Birthday stay
Very clean and well equipped property, especially kitchens. Perfect for our age range of 3 generations. Hot tub had 8 seats, but not enough space for 16 legs!!Could tell was previously a guest house as there are heavy fire doors to most rooms. This meant our smaller family members couldn't open their bedroom doors and other doors. Would book again.
