Un appartement d'une chambre dans une maison historique située 1924 dans les belles collines de Berkeley. Cet appartement a été récemment rénové et comprend une cuisine complète, entièrement équipée avec comptoirs en granit, micro-ondes, cuisinière, réfrigérateur et lave-vaisselle. La chambre a vue sur la baie, avec un lit double et une commode intégré et placard. Le salon / salle à manger offre une vue imprenable sur la baie, une grande terrasse, la télévision et foyer au gaz. Comprend laveuse / sécheuse. Un canapé-lit dans le salon accueille les invités supplémentaires. Il est également possible d'ouvrir une chambre supplémentaire pour les visiteurs occasionnels. Contemplative Stay in the Berkeley Hills
Quiet, welcoming apartment with lots of privacy. Well appointed kitchen, nice bathroom, bedroom, sitting room AND a private covered deck. The view during the day and at night were exquisite. Very friendly owners who have thought of everything to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable!

We were visiting Berkeley to meet our son. The apartment was great for two of us with lovely views of the bay. It had all the facilities we needed. It is about half an hour walk to downtown which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped. Our stay was very comfortable.

A fantastic view
This property worked well for my wife and I as we came out to visit our daughter. First time in the area and your mountaineering driving experience is put to the test. Berkeley Hills has some nice homes and this is one of them. We really enjoyed the back deck and its view. We loved the gardens and being surrounded by trees. The home offered all we needed as we were out and about for the day. We experienced unseasonably warm temperatures and the only downside was that it was quite hot inside without air conditioning. First world problems that we could live with! Make sure to visit the Rose Park and walk the gardens that are on this property. Can’t go wrong with this property.

Great Location, Beautiful Apartment
Everything was great! I met the host and her dog on the first night, and they were both really nice : ) I live in Berkeley, and I booked this place for a few days while the floors in my home were being refinished. The location is excellent; it's situated in the Berkeley Hills, but not too far up, so you'll be close to the university, downtown, Chez Panisse, and more, all while enjoying beautiful views of San Francisco.

A fantastic find!
The apartment was great, in a very convenient location with excellent parking, near great restaurants with beautiful parks in walking distance. It was private, with beautiful views and lovely gardens. I stayed for 7 weeks and really enjoyed it. The owner was lovely, super helpful and very inclusive and welcoming. Definitely a find!!

Lovely place to stay in a charming and historic home within walking distance of the CAL campus and the historic Rose Walk. The view of San Francisco is incredible, and the deck is spectacular. The owners are very kind and accommodating.

This is one of the most beautiful settings one could imagine. Easy access to the Greek Theater, UCB, restaurant ghetto, and best of all, Tilden Park. That blew me away most. I just couldn’t pull myself away from the view.

Susie’s Cozy Hideaway in the Hills
Susie was a wonderful host! She responded very quickly and was very accommodating to our needs. The place was absolutely clean and stylish with stunning views of the bay and San Francisco from the Living Room and from the outdoor deck in the trees. Parking was provided and on site washer and dryer was incredibly convenient. I definitely recommend the place if you’re looking for some thing with character, amazing walking, and peace and quiet free of city noises.

Great Stay at a Beautiful Historical House on a Hill
My brother and I had a great time at Susie's unit. The location is perfect for going out to eat, and the neighborhood is really quint. It's close to Berkeley campus, so a great options for dropping kids off at school. The patio is perfect for having morning coffee and evening take-out! Will definitely miss the beautiful view!!! Susie also made sure we had everything needed for the stay, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay for the beginning of school year.

Easy location
Easy location for walking to UC Berkeley Campus and SFO access via Bart. $3 per day to park at North Berkeley Station and transit into the city. A loaded Clipper Pass gives access to all the city busses as well. Relaxing deck and garden after a day of sightseeing and other adventures.

Close to campus, served our purpose of staying close to Berkeley campus for our son's summer workshop. In addition to that we enjoyed the great views of bay and San Francisco from balcony as well as from inside. Hosts are very helpful and understanding. They gave us lot of info about the area and picked up groceries for us several times. The only small problem is the bathroom sink is too small and old, the bathroom floor is old and no exhaust fan. Overall it is a very good and pleasant stay.

Heaven with a view in the Berkeley Hills!
Perfect 1 BR accommodation in a classic Berkeley home. Complete privacy with easy access to hosts. We stayed for two months when we first moved to the East Bay, and never tired of the view, the apartment or the surroundings. For a long or short stay, nothing could be more ideal in Berekeley.

Lovely Historic Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tolman house. The kitchen and bath are tiny, but well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The living area and deck are beautiful. It was fun to walk out on the deck each morning and gauge the weather by how far across the bay one could see. It's a gorgeous view over the Bay Bridge. The online photos don't do justice to that view! With a son in a 3-year post-doc here, we expect to be back several more times. Thanks for a lovely stay!
