Thanksgiving Stay

Just okay
We booked this townhome for a country Concert that unfortunately got cancelled due to a hurricane, so location was key. Based on where the concert would have been the location was exactly what we wanted and expected. House was big enough for 6 people comfortably however I do not feel it had everything we needed for the proper stay. In 95% of the Vrbo properties I have stayed in they have came equipped with salt and pepper, maybe some cooking spray, coffee, etc. there are sheets and towels but the kitchen supplies are very limited. Please keep in mind you will need to stock yourself with absolutely everything you’d need to stay including cleaning supplies. I do feel the cleanliness was subpar. The floors were sticky, we found items from the previous guests in a couple of places so it seemed that the house was not throughly checked or cleaned from the cleaning company. The property manager was very attentive and welcoming though.

Inexpensive vs. Expensive!
The. Location was Excellent! Everything you need all in the same area. Very close to parks. So location I give a 10 out of 10! The home it self was great space for a family of 5 or more.. Once we entered the protest their was a deflated balloon floating on the stairs, there was also dirt/dust on the entry floor. I just over looked these two things because it wasn't such a big deal. The furniture was dated, once I turned on the light in kitchen there was a roach in the sink,which was an instant turn off. My family and I live pretty comfortable and my kids never seen a roach so my girls were scared. It was also one in the bathroom downstairs. I was going to immediately report it the next day. But I did not see any more that day or during our stay. So the cleanliness I rate an 1. Will I stay at this property again? Absolutely Not!! I will definitely pay more to fit my lifestyle and to find a place that feels like home for me and my family.

Overall, our stay was nice. It was very roomy, and having the convenience of a full kitchen to cook for the family was nice. However, the lower heating element in the oven did not work and we were unable to bake anything. The replace filter light was on for the filtered water on the fridge, and the ice dispenser was covered in black mold. The hot tub was a nice feature, only wish it wasn’t filthy from the people who stayed before us. I had to drain, clean and then refill the tub before I felt comfortable getting in it. The beds were comfortable and clean, and even though the floors didn’t look dirty they made our feet black. I had to mop them myself after check in. The home served it purpose though.

Filthy Roach Infested Nightmare, Vacation Ruined
Arrived 10:30P, Lock code didn't work. Heat was on 88F. Linens hung on everything to dry, wet laundry in washer & dryer. PM promised refund of cleaning fee in writing. We finished laundry, made beds. Kitchen was sticky & greasy. We mopped the floor and wiped counters & fridge, rag came up black. Oven was filthy & broken & our meal was ruined. This home was listed with private pool. There was no private pool. Only a broken hot tub. We couldn't find another house at the last minute, so we tried to make the best of things. No key fob to community pool/clubhouse. Sent PM list of issues & pics. He told us said "there is little he could do to find it from there." We searched, he sent cleaner to look, it was nowhere to be found and one was never provided. German cockroaches and ants were everywhere, foosball table was broken, there were no board games, dvd player broken, no access to comm pool or clubhouse. AC auto set to 44F randomly freezing us out. They never issued our refund or addressed the other concerns. We tried to no avail to settle this with PM who claimed owner was nonresponsive. VRBO has called several times on our behalf. We've been using VRBO for over 10 yrs this is by far the worst, most disgusting, infested, misrepresented home we've experienced.

Outdated and dirty
There wasn’t one room that had all of the light bulbs working. The carpet was stained and needed replacing. The ceiling fans were “caked” with dust. It never got cooler than 77degrees. We never did find the directions for the WiFi nor the fob for the pool. Both said they were inside the unit. I’m sure that they were; but, very well hidden, never to be found. The “game room” had a foosball table that was so uneven, it couldn’t be used because the ball only rolled on one side. The hot tub was cold and there was dirt sitting in the corners all around the seats. It was not useable, cold or not. This place gave us a place to stay but that’s about all it did.

JW Convention get away
The purpose of our stay was, we were celebrating our Jehovah's Witness Convention Me and my family were very pleased and satisfied also comfortable. The location was excellent and convenient. The only disappointment was the TV, we couldn't get it to work also we wanted to use the Hot tub that didn't work further than that we are satisfied thank you

Rented this for 5 days since the price was really reasonable. Once we arrived we found two roaches in the kitchen. There is a grill that it listed isn’t on the property it’s at the park and is more of a group use. There was significant mold at the bottom of all of the shower curtains. The 1/2 bath sink was leaking and the hot tub was off from the circuit breaker. The pictures make it look quaint but it really was just stopped in time like it isn’t kept up with. I reached out to the agency that runs the property with my concerns and they told me they would be in touch and no one ever called me. I would recommend passing on this property.

Good location and home base for our time in FL
We chose this townhome because of it's proximity to Give Kids The World Village, where we were volunteering. The neighborhood is nice and having a pool available was a great perk. The house was clean, comfortable, and cool (thank you for AC!). There was a maintenance issue that was resolved quickly. We had to speak to the neighbors about after-hours noise, but we got that sorted out. The bed frames in the two front bedrooms are noisy, especially if you are downstairs and anyone is moving around upstairs. Be sure to read the details on the rental. You will need to provide your own trash bags and toilet paper, so plan ahead. On the whole, a good experience.

Nice location perfect for a family of 5
It was easy to access to the gated community and the property, location was perfect for us. Really close to Disney World. Our family had a blast. The place is pretty, we can tell the manager has read all his reviews and enhancements have been made. The manager was easy to reach at anytime. The only thing we wish they could provide is a couple of big trash bags to place all the trash out at the end of the stay so we the guest can take them to the dumpsters. Other than that. All normal necessities were provided. (A couple of tablets of dish soap, liquid dish soap, sponge, towels 4 downstairs 4 upstairs, the bathrooms had toilet papers… ) We would be looking forward to comeback :)

Great Location
5* for location and price! We traveled with all adults and for the price you cant beat each of us having our own rooms with 2.5 bathrooms. I was a bit worried by some of the reviews but heres the truth, neighborhood is standard Florida. Safe clean gated community, construction happening directly behind but in a couple months when finished its going to feel even safer. Hot tub works, dont mind all the reviews saying it doesn’t, theres a breaker located out back just need to check its flipped on then hot tub gets hot. Lots of people said they saw ants, again its Florida keep all your food in the fridge you wont see any ants. A/C pumps ice cold air, careful if you have Sunday booked, for some reason the Nest thermostat is scheduled to drop to 50 degrees on Sunday nights. Owner should reset this I dont think its meant to be scheduled to do that. Unfortunately owner does need to get on management company, AC filter has not been changed in months. Visually very dirty and crushed inside vent this will eventually cause damage to the unit. Cob webs could be seen in some of the harder to reach spots. Oven bottom coil is broken, bake does not work only broil. Learn to cook using the broil function if not its only the cook top or microwave. Location and space for the price are unbeatable, we had a great time definitely would stay again! The good, Pumping cold a/c, comfy beds, 20 min max with traffic from Disney.

Nice enough
The check-in and out process was seamless. The townhouse was nice for the price, but it could have been better and cleaner. The main problem was the ants in the kitchen. Overall, this townhome provided us a place to sleep in between our time away from Disney.

Check in from Hell
We were visiting Magic Kingdom the day we were checking into the rental. Although check in was at 4 we were going to be at the park until later. At 3:30pm while I was at Magic Kingdom I got an email saying that my rental was canceled. After having to make several phone calls over a course of 4 hours, being hung up on several times and speaking to several different people the rental company final admitted that they were in the wrong and reinstated our rental. This wasted 4 hours of my groups time at Magic Kingdom that cost hundreds of dollars because I was stuck on the phone with this company. They were rude, disrespectful and did not even try to look into what I was trying to explain to them. If it were not for the one person who finally listened to me 4 hours later we would have been stranded without a place to sleep.

Great place but missing a few things
Loved the unit and gated community. Great proximity to everything. However, remotes for tv etc did not work. Couldn't get a tv signal. Also missing some basic amenities like extra toilet paper, paper towel, hand soap, aluminum foil, condiments, spices, etc. Would stay here again.
