Cette belle maison de lac appartenant à une famille et dotée de cinq chambres à coucher a 300 pieds de façade en eau et une intimité totale. Parfait pour une escapade en famille ou un week-end en couple romantique. Situé à 1 heure 3/4 de Toronto et à 20 minutes de route de Peterborough. Propre, privé et calme. Une vue imprenable sur la rivière depuis la maison du lac et la terrasse. Quai disponible de mai à octobre avec le port de plaisance le plus proche à 5 minutes en bateau. 2 kayaks inclus. Il y a trois salles de bains-1 salle de bain complète et une avec douche. Peut accueillir confortablement 8 adultes et 2 enfants. Propriété au bord de l'eau avec des vues spectaculaires matin, midi et soir. Cuisine complète, salon et sous-sol fini. Le sous-sol est une salle de jeux complète avec table de billard, jeu de fléchettes, mini-réfrigérateur et bar. Bien relié au lac Rice, à seulement 10 minutes en bateau. Cette maison de lac charmante, confortable, rustique et accueillante pour les animaux de compagnie est ouverte toute l’année pour vous permettre de profiter du grand air tout au long des 4 saisons.

Amazing Stay!
Our recent stay at Lori’s beautiful, homey cottage was absolutely perfect. The cottage was cozy and charming, with stunning views of the water right from the porch. The sunsets were breathtaking! The interior was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful and serene, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque retreat by the water!

Great for Multi-Generational Families
Property is as described, with a well stocked kitchen. Great spot for multi-generation visit. River is busy, especially on the weekends, but still worked well for us. Owners were very responsive and helpful. Had a great time, definitely recommend.

Paradise at Bonnie Dune
My group and I, including our two pups, had a wonderful time staying at the Bonnie Dune cottage. The property was beautiful and very well taken care of. The cottage was very spacious, accommodating and charming with loads of character. The river front was beautiful and the water was very refreshing during the warm summer days. The walk in shore access was perfect for our water-loving dogs, and the dock was perfect for lounging during the day. The games room was great for playing some pool and darts while listening to music in the provided Sonos speaker system. We also enjoyed some great meals together on the front deck, with access to a great barbecue. All the bedrooms were great and especially the loft upstairs. With the provided AC and wifi, we had all the comforts of home combined with the beauty of a lake house cottage. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t recommend this property enough if you’re looking for a fantastic getaway that’s only a short drive from the GTA. The owner was very responsive and lovely to deal with.

A very nice get-away
Very large cottage. Nice lake to swim in. Kids swam off the dock each day Bonfires each night. Close to a free lovely petting zoo and a gorgeous sandbeach close by. Kayaks and canoe and wood provided. And of course all loved the 8 person hot tub and ice machine. Boys played lots of pool. Parents enjoyed the view from the veranda. Lady who owns it communicated very well. All in all A+

Picture Postcard perfect getaway
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Bonnie Doon! We had a family of 4 with two grown children, a family of 5 with children between the ages of 3 and 11, and a father in law. We fit well into all the comfy beds. Only inconvenience was the limited bathroom space, but we were aware of that before we arrived. The house was clean, well equipped (we hosted a BBQ for 13!) and exceptionally homey! The only minor drawback we had was limited cell phone service. The outdoors area is absolutely impeccable, beautiful dock, well maintained yard and landscaping, clean fire pit and well kept balconies, lighting and bbq. The hot tub is modern and clean. The area is so quiet and peaceful you just want to sit on the deck all day long! I highly recommend booking this property early (if you have a chance)! There is a very good reason it is consistently sold out!

Great cottage week
Lori was very easy to communicate with and the whole process was stress free. The cottage is amazing and was a great size for us (4 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs). The kids loved the pool table and dart board, the beds were very comfortable, and the Air conditioning was a big plus! Keep in mind that this cottage is beside the river and we found the current of the river varied day to day. Have to keep an eye on the small kids when the current is stronger. At times there was a lot of boat traffic that caused waves, but the water was warm and deep a few feet away from the dock and seaweed wasn't an issue (a few feet away from the dock). Everyone had a blast in the water. The provided kayaks and canoes (and life jackets) were great however there wasn't an easy way to put in and take out the kayaks or for our larger dog to get out of the water. The perimeter of the backyard by the water has a small chicken wire fence. Lori and Phil have the cottage well stocked with many great amenities and the view of the river from the cottage is amazing. Going to get groceries was a quick 15-20 min drive. Highly recommend One Fine Foods in Peterborough if you wanted a have a dinner out. Overall a great experience and week stay!!

Perfect Peaceful Getaway!
Amazing week vacation! This property is absolutely beautiful, exactly how it is advertised on the listing. We were a family of 5 + 1 infant and it was perfect. We were looking for a nice quiet and peaceful week off, which is exactly what this property delivers. The cottage itself was warm, clean, and very comfortable overall. Awesome games room for some pool and darts. The river front property was amazing - great for making a fire, swimming, kayaking and relaxing on the dock. Lori and Phil were great - extremely responsive and were always there to answer questions or advise on items we were unsure about. I highly recommend this place for a nice quiet getaway!

The perfect romantic getaway
Lori and Philip were very friendly and accommodating. We searched for the ideal honeymoon location and found the lakehouse was exactly what we were looking for. The location on the river was great for sunsets. The house was setup with everything we needed. Definitely we will be booking again in 2021, we highly recommend this property!!!

We loved our stay here. The property is situated on the river with beautiful views. We had a great visit- very peaceful. We loved sitting out on both the deck and dock. The owners were great and very responsive. We highly recommend it!

Excellent location and accommodation
The property was large with a very wide riverfront. The kids (aged 9-12) thoroughly enjoyed it. We used the kayaks, and rented a motorboat for tubing for the kids, and trips down to Rice Lake. The main floor is not as large as it looks in the pictures, but the enormous deck outside easily accommodated everyone.

Home away from home
Great place to spend a few days with family. There were 9 of us. Different age groups but did not feel crowded. The only downside , because there were so many of us and we took food to last us the week was that I wished a second fridge had been available. Everything else was perfect (indoors and outdoors)

Such a gem!
Bonnie Doon is a great place for a get away. 10 of us were there over the New Year’s Eve “weekend”. It was perfect. I know I will be back during other seasons as well! The owners were quick to respond if we had questions. Great place. Check it out!!

Enjoyed our stay in this cottage
The layout of this cottage really met the needs of our multi-generational family. with bedrooms on 3 levels and hangout spots on 2. Lots of room to play, to eat and to sleep! Well-stocked kitchen. I brought a few extra kitchen items with me and didn't need to use them. Wonderful duvets and bedding too.!
