There is free street parking available outside the property. Oxford city centre and all of it's wonderful attractions are within easy reach by bus (3 min walk, 10 min bus ride) or car.

Plenty to do nearby! Temple Cowley Shopping Centre & Retail Park are a 10 minute walk away and is filled with retail stores including JD Sports & TK Maxx. There you will also find a gym, supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, beauty salons, Post Office and more.

Florence Park (10 minute walk) is a stunning park with tennis courts and several dedicated children playground areas. Iffley lock (15 minute walk) is a scenic stroll down the river Thames.

Some fabulous restaurants can also be found nearby including The Jolly Postboys, The Magdalen Arms and The Chester Arms. Venture down to Cowley Road for a massive selection of places to eat, drink, listen to live music and more.

There is Co-op supermarket just a 4 minute walk from the property which also offer fresh bread and pastries every day. Just a 10 minute walk away you will find Templars Square shopping Centre & Park where they have a large Sainsbury's, Iceland and another Co-op. There you can also find a Post Office, ATM, Banks, Boots & Superdrug pharmacy.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Iffley lock is a 15 minute walk away and is a beautiful area to stroll down the river Thames. Florence Park is a 10 minute walk away and a great place for a family walk, running, using the outdoor tennis courts, several dedicated children playground areas, or just relaxing on the many benches amongst beautiful flowers and trees.

Templars Square Shopping Centre & Retail Park is a 10 minute walk away and includes; FeelFit and Pure gym, Hairdressers/Barbers, Tanning Salon, Nail Salon and plenty of retails stores including: JD Sports, TK Maxx, Poundland and Asda Living.

Cowley Road is a short drive/ bus ride away and has plenty to see and do! There is a lovely farmers' market most Saturdays 10am-1pm in the primary school just behind the Tesco Metro. The Ultimate Picture Palace is Oxford's only surviving independent cinema, showing a mixture of films. There is an O2 Academy music venue and many of the pubs/bars have music and games nights available including Cape of Good Hope, Truck Store and The Bullingdon.

OXFORD CITY CENTRE
By bus: 3 minute walk to bus stop to catch the 3a into Oxford City Centre. Redbridge Park and Ride is a 5 minute drive away with 24/7 busses into London (Oxford Tube) and the main airports (The Airline).
By car: Free street parking around the property and an approx 8 minute drive. Catch an affordable taxi, Royal Cars recommended, which you can book via the phone or their app.

FURTHER AFIELD
Oxford Train station is 3.5 miles away, easily accessible by bus, car or taxi. From the city centre you can catch a number of coaches from Gloucester Green Bus Station including; Oxford Tube (24/7 bus to London), The Airline, National Express and Mega Bus services.

Very good access to Oxford but needs some love and maintenance
Overall, this was a very good option for our beginning of stay in Oxford. Close to the bus, 15 min walking from a great shopping area (TK Maxx, Sainsbury's, Costa Coffee, ASDA, Deichmann...). That said, there are a few aspects of the house that require attention and maintenance - there were some scruffs and stains of the walls, including what appeared a big water leak from the bathroom. There is an impressive amount of spiders inside and surrounding the property (trash cans, roof windows, backyard door), and some parts were not cleaned prior to arrival so webs were commonly found and there was food left at the bottom of the dishwasher. Note also the two Dyson vacuums were not really functional. Otherwise, we appreciated a fully equipped kitchen, umbrellas, washer and dryer, and the small portable fan (as there is no AC, which is rather common for older UK properties). Overall, on the expensive side but provided what we needed for the time. We would stay here again if budget allowed.
