Relaxing Lake Home near Wisconsin Dells

Escape to Wolf Lake where you’ll find our relaxing "Bass Alley" cabin tucked onto a private, waterfront lot in Oxford. Your family will love kayaking, paddle boating, fishing or swimming in this calm, “No Motor" lake. Take in the views while sipping your drink of choice on the deck or cozying up next to the indoor fireplace. Surrounding areas offer trails, along with several ski resorts, or go for a quick drive into the Dells to browse restaurants, shops, and waterparks.

The Space:
A-frame cabin with lofted pinewood ceilings, gas fireplace and windows from floor to ceiling overlooking the backyard and lake. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, 3 baths, jacuzzi, a large loft area for additional sleeping, and a two story deck for grilling and outdoor dining. The kitchen boasts newer stainless appliances and all the amenities needed to prepare a meal for the whole family. The large backyard is perfect for outdoor activities and includes an outdoor firepit, wood included.

There’s a reason we call this “Bass Alley” cabin, as the lake is perfect for fishing panfish (bluegill, crappie, perch), bass, and northern pike, with depths up to 58 feet.

Guest access:
You will have access to the entire property except for the locked basement storage room and garage.

Other things to note:
YoutubeTV is the cable provider and the app can be found on the main menu of each RokuTV. This is included and you do not need to login with a guest account. Additional streaming services are available with guest accounts.

The video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the case of a break-in, injury, guests sneaking in, pets, guests disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed, noise awareness/no party rules, and in no way infringes on guests privacy. Fall Getaway

This house was the perfect place to enjoy an “Up-North” experience just a few hours away from Waukesha county. The interior of the house was decorated beautifully with a modern cabin feel and the owners really thought of everything to make our stay top notch. From a basket of brochures for local attractions to the turned down folds on the towels, this house had it all. Eddie provided great detail on checking in and out and made himself accessible should we need anything. Wonderful memories were made for my husband and 92 year old mother! We will be back!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Fantastic stay - even better than expected

We arrived expecting, well, a cabin on a small lake. We arrived to heaven! The house was SO much roomier than expected, and the facilities including boats and paddle boards made our stay magical. We truly enjoyed our time in Oxford, and made lasting memories. My girls had their first fishing experience, caught LOADS of bass and forgive the pin, are hooked. Thank you!

Wonderful and cozy

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of room to spread out and also to come together for dinner and family time. Everyone enjoyed the paddle and row boats. The lake was nice. We enjoyed listening to the frogs at night too.

Great time

Very clean, spacious and relaxing. Perfect for 6 adults. We used the paddle boards and paddle boat each day. Cooked out on the grill 1 night and used the fire pit. Looking forward to coming back in the fall!

Great family getaway

Great property that is far enough away to still be close. We enjoyed the quietness of the lake and all the property amenities (Paddleboat, canoe, boards). The cabin was the perfect size for our group of 8 and allowed for plenty of room for spreading out. We were impressed with the kitchen and all the available items for us! Will definitely use again if we are back in the Dells.

What a wonderful place!

This lake home did not disappoint at all! The owners did a marvelous job equipping this home with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The lake was quiet and serene with lots of wildlife watching and listening. (No motorized boats are allowed on the lake). The lake bottom is too muddy for swimming off the dock, but there is a paddle boat and paddle boards for use on the lake. The home has recently been updated so everything is new on the inside. The kitchen came well-equipped for cooking. The layout (3 levels with a bedroom on each) worked great for our family of 5 adults. We would definitely stay here again!!

Relaxing family time

My husband, kids, and I spent a week at this relaxing cabin property. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the use of space worked really well for our family of 4. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the upper deck area with morning coffee. The lake was beautiful. We spent time on the water fishing and enjoying the scenery. We saw cranes and turtles and giant frogs. The neighborhood was very quiet. We were able to easily go into the Dells to do activities. This was a great property and a great loaction for our relaxing family time.

Great place, beautiful scenery

Beautiful property (inside and out) with fun lake activities including paddle boards and a paddle boat. I would recommend this property to families of all ages (we were ages 4-72). It had everything needed for a great week/weekend stay. We would definitely go back! If you are thinking of doing a family Dell's trip but don't want the craziness of the big waterparks/resorts, this is a great alternative and only about a 15 minute drive.

Family getaway

We had 2 families of 4 stay in the house. We all had plenty of room without feeling like we were on top of each other. We cooked meals most night. So thankful for the fully stocked kitchen supplies. Our kids LOVED the paddle boards and boat. We also enjoyed the fire pit and yard. Overall a great vacation!!
