Custom 2-story retreat features warmth & beauty of rustic woods & many modern amenities.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin is located in Packwood, Washington, 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Area and Mount Rainier National Park entrance. The all-wood handcrafted cabin sleeps 6 and is fully furnished and comfortably outfitted with central heating and air conditioning, wireless internet, laundry room with washer and dryer, fireplace, river access. The Stargazer Suite is the 4th bedroom. It is attached to the main house, but you must enter through a separate entrance.

2 baths (1 down and 1 in the master suite)
Pet Friendly (Requires $50 pet fee per pet.) Airbnb users: Initial booking price does not include the pet fee. Pet fee will be requested separately after booking has been confirmed.

During the summer a burn ban may go into effect in all of Lewis County. During this time campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and any other form of burning may be prohibited.

Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guest's responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.

Good Vibes Only
I wish I was there right now, this place felt like a home not even a rental stay. There was everything in and around it that you need! My children loved being outdoors our entire stay, the walk down to see the river. We actually caught small crawfish at night! It was awesome!—it’s a two in one but it felt like more than what it has to offer!!! We even got to see elks strolling through town. Very nice cabin. Highly highly recommend.

Our family of 6 stayed a few days in this well furnished cabin to enjoy some mountain and ski time before Christmas and had a wonderful stay. Kitchen is fully accessorized and beds comfy with warm blankets. We enjoyed the living room stove and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Saving listing for future stays!

The Perfect Birthday Getaway
We chose to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday at this TMC Property because it was the perfect distance between being remote and local, with all of the perfect amenities. All of our friends that stayed with us loved the property and want to come back at some point! The Stargazer unit was a perfect "apartment" to ourselves, with its own kitchenette and full bath. We were able to go to bed each night picking out constellations and watching satellites dance overhead. One friend brought along their dog, and reported that the area was very dog friendly! We opted to bring our own chef knives, cutting boards, and pans – as we were unsure what to expect in the kitchen. I'm pleased to say that we overpacked, and both kitchens are very well stocked. Preparing food on the grill all weekend was a delight. The hot tub was a real treat after a day at the river. We utilized it two nights of our three night stay, and it worked wonders to prepare us for the next day's adventures! In regards to internet, the property is well equipped! With 1Gig download speeds, you should have no connectivity issues! Mobile connectivity was spotty. We could occasionally get LTE/5G in front of the driveway, or at the river, but it was quite unreliable, and therefore should be a consideration. Overall, we couldn't be happier, and thank you TMC for providing an incredible property to host the perfect birthday weekend.

Great for four couples 60 years of age, close to Rainer, Baker and Mount St. Hellens. We saw them all in a four day stretch. The Packwood Market has anything you need to enjoy your stay, the Cabin is over the top nice with all you need to prepare family style meals. Do bring bug spray and keep the screen door closed on the deck. Weave already decided to come back next year.

Property was extremely clean upon arrival. No issues with check in. Beautiful and well decorated house. Location is great for visiting the national park. Only improvement I would make is adding some retractable shades to the star gazer window.

Winter VRBO Doublebooked! TMC Properties was very helpful and undestanding of my situation
The VRBO Website Doublebooked me so I stayed at another Packwood property between Dec 22 and Dev 27th. TMC properties was very helpful and understanding of my situation. They helped me resolve the matter with the VRBO double booking due. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay with TMC this time, but I hope to have an opportunity to stay at one of their properties in the future! 5 Stars for their great customer service!

Excellent house
We really loved the house. It was very clean, well equipped and had access to the Cowlitz river. While we had 100 fahrenheit we loved to cool in the River :-) the beds are very comfortable and we were extremely glad that the House has AC. We definitely want to go back to Packwood and rent the house again :-)

The property worked well for our family - we appreciated how clean the house was and that everything was in good working order. We greatly enjoyed the turntable and all of the classic albums were a treat. The only negative issue for us was the lack of space to just hang out together. We made the best of it and truly enjoyed out weekend stay at River Run Lodge.

Stylish cozy retreat
We have stayed in several VRBOs in Packwood, this one was one of our favorites. Comfortable beds, well stocked, cozy throw blankets, trendy style and a deck that looks over a lovely wooded forest and a mellow creek.
