NOTES ON THE POOL AND HOT TUB

To turn on and off the hot tub, use the controls box in the lanai. It'll take approximately 45-60 minutes to heat up. Please turn off the hot tub (by pressing the spa button again) when not in use. The hot tub will automatically turn off after several hours.

Do not attempt to adjust pool or hot tub settings at the main control box.

During cooler months, we will heat the pool to try to take the chill out. In the morning or during cold snaps, the pool may not feel as warm because the air temperature is lower than usual for Florida. Give the pool time to heat up during the day.
The pool is only heating when the pump is running (aka water is spilling over from the hot tub to the pool). The pump is set to run on a predetermined schedule. Please note that if you have the hot tub running, the pool will not heat during that time.

The pool should never feel “hot.” For a hot water experience, we recommend using the hot tub.

Pool is cleaned weekly by an outside company. A small amount of debris may fall or blow into the pool between cleanings due to unpredictable weather conditions in Florida - this is normal. We provide a pool skimmer that you may use to remove light debris throughout your stay.

There is a private driveway with space for 3-4 cars.

The Seakeeper has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate 9 people - up to 6 adults and an additional 3 small children comfortably.

The outdoor pool deck feels like your own private resort, with fabulous hardscaping around a heated saltwater pool, a swim-up bar, jetted spa, fire pit, and plenty of shade or sun (depending on how hard you're working on your tan - but don't forget the SPF). With plenty of seating areas, you'll use this outdoor space from sunup to well after sundown.

​For convenience's sake, rinse off in the private outdoor shower.

​Step onto the screened-in lanai and have a seat at a dining table for 8 or a large sectional couch. Watch TV, play games, read, have a drink, or take a shady nap.

​You'll also find all the other necessary outdoor amenities for the vacation of a lifetime - pool floats, a gas grill, oversized Jenga, Battleputt golf and more.

​Not that you'll ever want to go inside, but if you do, you'll find a comfortably-appointed living room, dining room (with space for 8), breakfast bar (with space for 3), a roomy kitchen with upgraded appliances, washer and dryer, spacious master suite with a king-sized bed and a tub/shower combo, two guest rooms with a queen-sized bed and full-sized bunk beds with a twin trundle that the kids will love, and a beautifully upgraded guest bath and a stand-up shower.

​If you ever decide to leave the property to explore the beaches, we provide beach chairs, beach umbrellas, towels, beach mats, sand toys, and a cooler.

While staying in this little piece of paradise, you'll be a pleasant and scenic 25-minute drive from the beaches of Anna Maria Island (the best beaches on Florida's Gulf Coast, in our humble opinion), 35 minutes to St. Pete Beach, 6 minutes to waterfront restaurants and shopping in Ellenton and downtown historic Palmetto, 25 minutes to Sarasota International Airport and 45 minutes to Tampa International Airport.
