Les points forts : Propreté, équipements, infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement
First, the positive. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. It was centrally located and we were able to walk to the Picasso museum, shopping and metro. There was a hair dryer and a nice kitchenette. Now for things that needed work. The biggest frustration was trying to finalize our booking. We started the process and a deposit was taken months before. But in the 5 or 6 days before our stay (but while we were traveling in other parts of Europe) my husband had to deal with the hotel saying they couldn't process our payment etc. This resulted in many back and forth emails and calls. This stood out with all the hotels we stayed at (9 in all) as the worst booking experience. I joked with my husband that he should bill them for his time. Also, during one of the conversations, we were told there is no staff at the hotel, so we were worried we would arrive and not be able to get in. But thankfully that didn't happen. There is a tiny one person elevator that is apparently finicky and prone to breaking. We received notice not to put more than one person and one suitcase in the elevator. Another stressor and if you're at all claustrophobic, this will not work for you. Wheelchair users, definitely no. There is a door that says "Chambers rooms" that turned out to be a stairway. We used the stairs after our fist scary elevator experience. The AC/ Fan didnt work. We did receive back our potential damages deposit of $300 back with no problem.
