Nestled in a rural area and within walking distance of the East Verde River that runs through the community, this amazing area offers a relaxing retreat for guests. Rim Country Museum and Myra's Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout and Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. With a true rustic cabin feel, Trout Creek Cabin features a king bed, queen bed, and a sofa bed, there's plenty of space for everyone. Other essentials provided include heating, AC, WiFi, fireplace, washer/dryer and kitchen essentials. The bathroom is well-equipped with dual sinks and shower/tub combo. One of the best cabins ive stayed at!

And ive been to a lot. From luxury to very rustic. This one felt extra homey, clean, and cozy. It has everything you need. We very much enjoyed the finishing at the nearby river. We honestly wish we couldve had stayed longer. Until next time? Thank you again!

Great rustic getaway

Everything was clean and useful. Decorated beautifully and had all amenities you need for a mountain retreat. Pups loved the backyard and playground down the road. Great little community with lovely creek and trails.

Great cabin get away

I absolutely loved this property. The cabin was so well laid out and set up with all amenities that I needed. I went for hiking and vacation just myself and my dogs.It was very cozy and the porch was very comfortable as well. I spent a lot of time Outdoors on the property and in the neighborhood. The short walk past the Verde River to the local park was great. Many people were there with their children and dogs playing at that park. The location is far enough away to feel remote but close enough to town that anything you need is 15 minutes away. I did not want to leave and I look forward to the opportunity to go stay again.

Great, quiet spot. Very detailed listing!

We received very detailed instructions and directions to the property. This was crucial, as the cabin is in a great location but not super easy to find without these directions. The property was very clean, with everything included exactly as it appeared in the listing. Quiet and cool evenings in late March. Exactly what we wanted, away from town, traffic, etc. Thank you!!!

Loved our stay

Cabin and location was beautiful! The only suggestion I have is outside furniture could have been cleaner. I suggest having a cover for your sectional! It was very dusty and didn't use! It was awesome overall.

Fell in love again

This was our second time staying and we fell in love with this cabin again. It’s the perfect spot to build a fire and relax. We found an incredible spot for dinner named Duza’s. I have no idea how a place like this needed up in Payson, but it is outstanding. The yard at the cabin is perfect for our pups. We just love this for a quick getaway from the valley. We did some great hiking just down the road too. Thank you for having us again. We love this cabin!

Cozy Stay and neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay place is cozy we enjoyed being able to play tennis and basketball near by and walk by creek. This was our first time traveling with our small dogs they loved the out door area. It was gated good for my small dogs.

Cozy cabin, clean and well stocked

Very clean and cozy. Well stocked kitchen and bath. Only wish we would have had more wood to burn. Only had one night’s worth and had to go buy wood for remainder of week. Would stay again!

Wonderful escape from the demands of life

The cabin was very beautiful. We pulled into the drive and saw a gas fire pit, comfy chairs, and best of all a giant connect four game for my two year old granddaughter. Her joy continued as she discovered the secret play room upstairs. It was wonderful. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other a queen. The cabin was excellent and we took walks to the creek. Beautiful scenery. We very much enjoyed our stay.
