This secluded property places you at the doorstep of Letchworth State Park in Western NY, less than one hour from Niagara Falls and Finger Lakes Wineries.

This charming 1500 sq. ft. countryside home is fully furnished for your convenience including bed & bath linens, kitchenware and laundry room. In addition to the living space, the basement recreation room includes a pool table, ping pong table and Foosball for those occasional rainy days.

Enjoy fun filled days exploring Letchworth Park, Niagara Falls or visiting local shops & eateries. You may just find the most memorable part of your visit will be relaxing with family and good friends around the soft glow of a campfire.

Letchworth State Park renowned as the "Grand Canyon of the East," is one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs--as high as 600 feet in some places--surrounded by lush forests. Hikers can choose among 66 miles of hiking trails. Trails are also available for horseback riding, biking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.

Letchworth offers nature, history and performing arts programs, guided tours, whitewater rafting, kayaking, a pool for swimming and hot air ballooning.

Letchworth Park won the USA TODAY’s Readers' Choice Award for Best State Park in the United States!

Very relaxing stay

Perfect house for our family to spend time at during spring break. The hiking at Letchworth State Park was amazing with beautiful views. We enjoyed our evenings at the house making dinner, watching movies and playing different games in the basement. Our kids favorite was the shuffleboard. Nice selection of movies, games, cards and chess set. We saw a lot of different animals in the backyard. The birds in the morning were relaxing to listen to. The property is beautiful and very private. The house was clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The large couch was perfect for our family of 5 also. Wonderful memories were made here.

The Property was beautiful and well kept considering it's size. We did find a few small things here and there that could have been cleaner but all in all a wonderful property and we were able to have a beautiful rememberance celebration with family while staying here.

Bridal Party

The Gate House served as a perfect place for our daughter and her bridal party to get ready for her wedding. There was plenty of room for the six bridesmaids to work with the hair stylists, makeup artist and photographer. The Groom and his crew had fun in the basement game area until the photographer was ready for pictures down by the pond. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to create breakfast for a large crew.

Wonderful property

The location is remote but I guess that is the porpoise of staying here near the park, actually walking distance from Perry’s entrance. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a very enjoyable stay. The communication with owner was great even though we had no issues at all. There were some options for dinning around town and in the next town. I will strongly recommend this property.

Relaxing Weekend!

Came to Letchworth for Cross Country Sectionals, stayed for the weekend with friends from PA at Gatehouse. Location was ideal, property is clean, quiet and well appointed. Played lots of games, had lots of laughs and throughly enjoyed our visit. Will definitely return!

Great Location for our Hiking Trip

We enjoyed this peaceful stop as a home base for our hiking adventure. The home is just feet away from one of the entrances to Letchworth State Park. It was fully equipped for us and we cook every meal. Pots, pans, etc. We slept on the bed with the adjoining bathroom and it was just ok. Plenty of bedding. The washer and dryer were helpful, detergent supplied. Bring in your own soap, shampoo, conditioner as well as your own ground coffee or coffee pods. Paper towels are there, some spices, olive oil and a bit of sugar packets.

Birthday Trip

The property hosts an absolutely beautiful view and is a minute from Letchworth. The pond, farmland and fields are wonderful. . The furniture is super comfortable and the kitchen has all you need to cook or eat. The game room in the basement is great. We did think it was reasonable to expect coffee, and shampoo at this price point. It states that there is no coffee, but why not?

Great place for exploring nearby

Great place for family, nice large kitchen for making meals. Peaceful area right next to Letchworth, literally down the street from the Perry entrance. You will be out in the cornfields which we really enjoyed. Close enough to markets and gas. Little over an hour to Niagra also.

We found the home very clean, very comfortable, quiet, and amply equipped with all that we needed. The location was great as well, just outside the Perry entrance to Letchworth and close to the town of Perry where there were dining options. It was a very relaxing stay for us.

Wonderfully Comfortable and Perfect Location

We were very comfortable and, besides a few small issues I communicated to the owner, it was very clean. We loved the location - less than half a mile to Letchworth State Park entrance. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch - shaded with gorgeous trees and very quiet area. It’s a short drive to the nearby town with its own brewery, small eateries and shops. Farmers Market on Saturdays. We would stay here again!

This was just as advertised. Clean and comfortable, with a functionally stocked kitchen, very near a gate to Letchworth State Park. We were grateful to have wifi at the house because cell phone service was spotty in the park and nearby.

Peaceful Retreat near Letchworth Park

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Gate House! The location can’t be beat for its proximity to the Perry entrance of Letchworth Park, and for its beautiful quiet setting and grounds. My husband especially loved reading beside the fire and gazing at the magnificent stars visible with the backyard light turned off. He says he was surprised by the lack of mosquitos, although he did find one tick. This nicely remodeled but not entirely updated house is thoughtfully stocked with abundant kitchen supplies, lots of extra blankets, a fan in every bedroom, and a variety of books, games, and puzzles. With at least five activities in the basement game area, our children were easily entertained. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the owners responded quickly to our texts. Our cell phones had only single-bar LTE, and Letchworth Park, as well, was pretty much a dead zone. The Wi-Fi service was reliable and reasonably fast. We highly recommend The Gate House as a peaceful getaway for nature lovers!

Family Getaway

We all enjoyed your location in Perry for our annual Memorial Day weekend to meet up with other family members. My family has gone to Letchworth State Park ever since I can remember on the Sunday before Memorial Day! Your Gate House place was everything we needed and more! Your basement area which was well equipped with fooseball, pool table, shuffleboard, games etc. was a big hit by all. The basketball area which was outside was a big hit as well! Our dog was so happy to swim in the pond! The back yard was beautiful! Unfortunately we didn’t have time to have a fire outside but did enjoy some time sitting outside around the (unlit) fire pit!

Letchworth getaway

This property has everything you need to enjoy a visit to Letchworth State Park. It's located in a very quiet area just outside the Perry entrance to the park, and gas/groceries are a 10 minute drive away. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Didn't stay long enough to take advantage of the outdoor firepit or the game room in the basement, but those are nice amenities that make this a really special property. Thanks Ron!
