The living room has a baby grand piano, record player and a wood burner, which makes it ideal for relaxing with friends and family or just reading a book in a tranquil setting. During the summer the walled garden is a treat to behold, there is a seating area and is an enclosed space for dogs and children. There is a spacious lawn to the front of the which is not enclosed so pets or young children will need to be supervised. If you need to work while staying at the cottage there is high speed fibre broadband which has recently been installed.
Located six miles from the historic city of Perth, Gardeners Cottage offers a rural location with forest walks and cycle rides on the doorstep. Also, the lochs and river Tay network provide plenty of opportunities for water sports such as wild swimming, canoeing, white water rafting and stand up paddle boarding.
Perthshire has many award-winning restaurants, including two that have Michelin stars. There are many artisanal food producers, and there is also a vibrant arts scene including Perth Concert Hall, Perth Theatre, Scone Palace and Birnam Arts Centre and Perthshire Creates to name a few.
