Hobby chefs will love preparing lake picnic snacks in the unique full kitchen, with plenty of room to maneuver about and make culinary charms. Overall good stay
Their is no air conditioning but their was plenty of fans within the house. The small bedroom floors were constantly wet from the humidity. The humidifiers blow out hot air so I didn’t want them running as much but I needed to because of the humidity. The outside of the property can use some cleaning as well. Having the canoe and Kayak for the kids was great. Overall it was a good stay for the 3 nights.

Do not rent this house
July 3rd, 2024, We arrived at the house around 9:20pm, we unlocked the door and went in, we smelled mould in the air (extremely strong) we saw some dehumidifiers turn them on but within minutes we started feeling weird. By 10:30pm, my wife and I felt like we had an elephant standing on our chest and we had hard time breathing, it was painful to breathe, coughing a lot as well. By 11pm my wife decided to go to bed, 11:10pm I told her that we had to leave, she suggested we stay the night that it would go away but something told me that that was a bad idea. 11:20pm we were in the truck, I contacted Vrbo to notify them, they tried to contact host but was unsuccessful. We are feeling much better than last night but we still coughing but not as much as last night. We were looking forward to this weekend but we never even got to see the view from the house at daytime. It could’ve turned out to be a nightmare for my family if we had stayed any longer. According to board of health, this house is listed for rent illegally, their short term rental application has been denied. Vacasa still hasn’t refunded us for the rental.

Nice time
Family bonding time on the lake was just what we needed. Next time we will wear more sunscreen. We were counting on grilling but the grill did not look like we should use it- Inside paint peeling and rusted. Very disappointing. luckily, i knew someone that lives down the road so we grilled our food there and brought it back to eat. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Cabin!
We enjoyed a girls weekend in a relaxing, cozy lake cottage. The location was excellent. A great place to st back and relax with friends.

Nice place to relax
Great private beach area put my camp chair right in the water and enjoyed the sunshine and watched the boats….great outdoor spaces would be nice if the bushes in front of the master bedroom weren’t so tall would be a nice shady spot to sit but overall outdoor area is great….the interior is a little dated but comfortable everything you need …could use some updates but would definitely stay here again ….they were very quick to respond to any questions or problems right away….

Beautiful view
This property was a great spot right on the lake with your own private little beach and kayaks there for you to use . A wrap around deck that was great to sit on all times of day and look at the lake. The inside is outdated but quaint and cozy. The beach did need to be raked and lawn needed to be mowed and outside furniture and grill needed a cleaning g but other then that was a great location and nice getaway house.

Plugged sink, etc.
Disposal unit and light over sink weren't working, sink would plug & backup, but after calling this is in to management company, nothing was ever done about it. Also, there were mice in the bedroom walls that we could hear at night. Not worth the rent.

Everything in description is true! The cottage was exceptionally clean. All appliances worked! It was cozy, and comfortable and plenty of space for five adults to spread out when you want to. We would come back to this cottage. We had a lovely stay.

Relaxing weekend
The house was clean and cozy. When I first walked in it had a mildew smell but once you open the windows it went away. Don’t open the window above the sink, it has no screen. We had some bugs at night. The house could use some updating but still nice. The kitchen had everything we needed except I wish there was some containers to put leftovers in but we made due with bowls. The beds were ok, kinda hard. The pond was clear but did not look like the picture. It had a lot of weeds in the shallow area. It was nice the deeper you got. We enjoyed the canoe and two kayaks. We found the paddles and beach chairs under the front steps. They had beach towels and towels for the shower. There was some cards and other games to play. A great place for a relaxing weekend.
