Yes, truly a retreat!
The Travelers Retreat met every expectation and then some. The deck and surrounding gardens are perfect. The amenities are complete. The Murphy bed is very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who needs a home away from home in the Tualatin or Wilsonville area.

The cottage is awesome. A refuge perfect for snuggling by the fireplace, a great kitchen for preparing intimate meals, and lovely bathroom and laundry with all the soaps provided.

This is the perfect getaway property!
Everything about my stay was top-notch! I was met with a friendly greeting by one of the property owners as she was out working but n her beautiful garden. The cottage was cozy, yet spacious, clean and has many lovely homey touches in decor. I loved all the available light from the windows and efficiently layer to it kitchen. The Murphy bed was super comfortable for me. This property is in the country but very close to freeway access as well I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Perfect Cottage
Our stay was fantastic. This cottage is seriously the cutest, well put together place that made us feel right at home. There is nothing I can say other than it was PERFECT! Jim and Bestie were very attentive when we needed something we forgot to bring. They were so friendly and we really are so happy we picked this place to stay for our sons wedding weekend.

Perfect spot for a stay
My daughter and I were in town for a few days and this cottage was perfect for us. Nice and clean. Plenty of amenities. And very comfortable. My only suggestion is if you need a dark room in order to sleep then perhaps bring a sleeping mask. There is lots of blinds and shades but still a light house in the morning. But I highly recommend this home.

When we got to the property, Jim greeted us right away and showed us around the rental. It was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a little getaway from normal life. We will definitely be staying again next time we come to Portland if available

Wonderful quiet cottage in lovely surroundings
We had a lovely stay at the Traveler's Retreat. Jim met us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful as he explained all about the details of the cottage. He made us feel right at home. The cottage was perfect and had everything we needed. It was very clean and bright with a comfortable bed, very large bathroom and dressing area, and a well-stocked mini-kitchen area. It is easy to see that Jim and Betsie paid a lot of attention to detail when they furnished the Retreat, and we lacked for nothing. A bonus was the lovely garden and surroundings--such a beautiful area. If we ever attend another wedding in the same area we will definitely return to the Traveler's Retreat! Thanks again Jim and Betsie!

Perfect location for quick trips to the seaside, Mt. Hood, Columbia Gorge, and the wedding I came here to attend. QUIET! and Dark! Perfect for sleeping and late night sky viewing. Very clean and tidy and spacious (it was just me; for two it would still be spacious; for 3-4 it would be cozy). Loved the horticultural locaton!

I loved this property. Coming back to the noisy city was such a disappointment after staying and this peaceful place. The scenery was amazing. The stay couldn’t have better unless it had been a little longer. The owner, Jim, greeted me shortly after my arrival. Which helped my first VRBO solo trip feel like home. I hope to come back next year. Thanks!!!
