De temps en temps, vous prenez conscience d'un endroit très remarquable. Le genre d'endroit que vous pensiez n'existerait plus tant que vous ne l'auriez pas trouvé. Un endroit pour faire une pause et revivre dans un air frais et pur parfumé par le mélange de cèdre et de mer. Nous avons des huîtres et des palourdes fraîches toute l'année. Lighthouse Country possède plus de 60 miles de rivage océanique et de plages de sable fin avec d'innombrables ruisseaux et rivières qui accueillent le frai du saumon et de la truite indigène. Nous avons une excellente eau potable fournie par Qualicom Waterworks.


Cabine de 700 pieds carrés # 6061 avec cuisine au plafond voûté vue mer à pied sur la propriété de la plage. Récemment mis à jour deux fauteuils et repeindre la salle familiale. Un lieu de véritable convivialité et de charme.

September week stay!
My wife and I and our 2 adult kids had a great stay at the cabin. It had all we needed and being right on the ocean was awesome for beach combing and fishing! Brian and Sarah are great hosts, we will definitely stay here again if we come to the island again!

Great little place
Lovely property with 2 rentals, we stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It was everything we needed. Its not ocean front but has a good view of the ocean and plenty of room to enjoy the beach. The resident caretakers Sarah and Brian were fabulous hosts. Bring ear plugs traffic can be nousy.

A week by the sea
We loved our time here! It is such a magical little place and we made so many memories that we’ll always cherish. The cabin itself was spacious and suited our family of four perfectly. The green space outside of the cabin and, of course, the seashore just provided a wonderful setting for our two young children. Brian and Sarah (the caretakers further down the shore) were so helpful and kind. We were trying to escape Florida and it’s heat and could not have picked a better place! Thank you for sharing your special piece of paradise with us!

Explore Qualicum Bay
We were very pleased with the cabin and the property. A lovely view from our dining room table. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Bowser was worth a visit: Tomm's Food Village is a good grocer, the coffee shop very nice and the two gift shops were interesting. Qualicum Beach is not too far from the cabin and is a lovely town.

My getaway
I have a busy life, I came to the cabin to rejuvenate myself. This cabin was the answer to relax, get centered, and most of all recharge. My experience was excellent. The cabin was clean, close to the beach, quiet, relaxing. Sarah and Bryan were the perfect hosts. I would recommend this cabin and I do plan on going back. Thank you again for a perfect holiday. Property managers Bryan and Sarah were great, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The location is steps from the beach and it is wonderful! The cabin isn't fancy, but it was clean and perfect for our family of 5, to stay in and enjoy days playing in the ocean. A great vacation all around 😊

Heerlijk huisje met prachtige ligging aan zee!
Fijn huis met prima bedden. Alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. Veel leuke plekjes bij het huis waar je heerlijk kon zitten. Wij zaten elke ochtend met een kopje koffie in onze tuinstoelen aan de zee. Mooie uitzichten! De inrichting van het huisje is wel wat gedateerd maar was ondergeschikt aan alle comfort die we hadden.

Wonderful oceanfront stay!
We were traveling to consider options for senior care close to family and have an opportunity for my elderly friends to reconnect with their families. This location was a perfect place for them to do this together in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The grandchildren came to us and joined us for a family BBQ. Dawn and Jeff were welcoming and friendly. The cabin was well equipped and senior friendly with ramp access and parking in front. Everyone was able to rest well for each days activities. The warm, clear ocean water made for a glorious swim, shell collecting and a beautiful morning coffee overlooking the little private beach.

Amazing vacation spot
We throughly enjoyed our time at this oceanfront property and will definitely try to come again. The hosts and owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the location was fantastic. We sat on the beach and watched seals playing in the water, and were treated to beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed biking and jogging on the Lighthouse Trail which is located nearby. There are a few restaurants/cafes and an ice cream shop in the near vicinity as well. It is a very peaceful spot which we would recommend to anyone!

Fun times
The location is quite close to Qualicum Beach, beaches, tourist attractions and various trails. The beach is nice and small within a few steps of the smaller cabin. The first few days the tide was high and not able to beach walk however it did finally go out allowing for nice long beach walks. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away from it all

Very nice property right on the ocean, owners of the property are very friendly and insightful on tourist spots to check out. property management were very pleasant to deal with. Being from alberta we have different garbage and recycling programs, and they politely reminded us of the requirements there. All around had a very pleasant stay.

The perfect getaway cabin.
The cabin was rustic but very comfortable. Great beds and 2 lazy boy rockers! The kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed our walks on the beach. Nearby are several great eateries. Dawn was friendly and welcoming.

Great location with spectacular views of the ocean!
Wonderful place to stay! Clean and spacious for two couples with large bedrooms ample kitchen, well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Large living room and dining area, laundry facilities and storage space. Check in was easy and Dawn was great to work with. Beach views and easy access down to the water. BBQ and deck with furniture and fire pit access. Lovely place to stay and reasonable prices. Thoroughly enjoyed this location and highly recommend.

Pretty and clean spot
We enjoyed nearly everything about the cabin and location. Kitchen is very well equipped, beds very comfortable, property is very clean as well as pretty with flowers and view. The manager is pleasant and helpful. The price is appropriate for the property. The only thing the description does not say is that the property is near the road. Traffic sounds may not disturb most folks, however we did notice it.

Perfect for our family
A great location and property. We love the area because there is so much for kids (ours are currently 7, 4 & 1) to do. It was a big bonus to have some yard space and the beach accessible directly from the cabin. The grounds are shared between a couple of dwellings but no one minded our kids making a little daytime noise :) The cabin was perfectly adequate. It had everything we needed- we especially appreciated the ample amount of towels and linens provided. It’s a little dated in decor but that’s the way we like it- we don’t have to keep the kids off the furniture or away from any breakables! As previous reviewers have noted, the cabin is bigger than it appears in photos. The bedroom are quite large and we easily accommodated the baby’s playpen in our room. Overall a great stay. We hope to be back!
