Major Cleanliness and Setup Issues - Great Location Only
Location is excellent - convenient to downtown attractions. The unit appears modern at first glance, but has significant cleanliness and maintenance issues:Bathroom: Black mold in shower, stained grout/tiles, clogged sink, debris under sink and unsanitary toilet seat fixturesBedroom: Missing bottom sheet and mattress pad, only loose top sheet providedMissing basic amenities: No soap, shampoo, or clean towels (only towel left out was one dirty hand towel turned to hide that it had been used)Poor maintenance: Furniture improperly stored (coffee table on its side in closet), dirty baseboards, dishwasher full of clean dishes upon arrival. Housekeeping: Despite 90 cleaning fee, unit showed clear signs of long-term neglectWhile host offered partial refund after complaints, these issues reflect systematic maintenance problems rather than one-time oversights. Cannot recommend until significant improvements are made to cleanliness and basic amenities.

Perfect size apartment in great neighborhood
We loved our stay in Durham. The apartment was exactly as described. The property manager gave us clear instructions for check in and check out and promptly answered any questions we had. The neighborhood was perfect as it was close to all our favorite Durham restaurants and we were able to walk everywhere. We would love to stay here again, if property is available.

Terrific apartment in an area close to the conventioncenter with museums, restaurants, cultural sites close-by. 7 minutes to walk to the meeting site. Apartment is as described with a secure entry, garage for 1 vehicle, very clean and well appointed. Host was great at answering questions. We arrived an hour prior to official check in time, but after calling her, she sent the lockbox code, and allowed me to checkin. Only comments: a better shower head would be welcome, a trashbin in the bedroom would be helpful. Quiet, comfortable, lots of natural light......highly recommended.

We have stayed here before and just love the accommodations and location! Extra touches like robes, coffee, snacks, etc just add to the already lovely space. Convenient location to all of our stops in Durham. Disappointed that there was construction overnight that was very loud and made it difficult to sleep. Also the owner had painters come in during our stay to fix the ceiling and the apartment smelled like paint, which was not pleasant.

Comfortable apartment in an active location
This unit is an excellent getaway for those who enjoy the urban environment. The owner cares about your stay, being quick to answer our questions and helping us enjoy our stay as much as possible. Unfortunately for us, it was too loud. We're used to a much quieter environment, and someone decided this would be the time to do some late-night road or building work. Pairing that with some neighbor activity in the building translated to little sleep for us on two nights. But this is a gem if you're used to the urban environment. It allows you to wake up to beautiful sunrises, sunlight all day, protected parking, and walkable access to *so much* in Durham.

Spent several days in this condo while my daughter was in summer school at Duke. Great location that is walking distance from campus and a thriving downtown area. Condo was well equipped, clean and comfortable and offered covered parking and access to pool area. Would be comfortable for couples too.

My girlfriend and brought our puppies down for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The room was just fantastic- we are local property owners and our property is rented long-term. This is one of the absolute best short term rentals we’ve found. Definitely at the top of our list for all return visits.

Great central location, just minutes away from anywhere in Durham. Within easy short walk of dozens of restaurants, shops, and bars in Five Points and Brightleaf Districts. Building is quiet, secure and well kept with what seems like a lot of university staff and students living there. The unit we stayed in was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Early morning noise was a minor issue with train tracks nearby and new building construction 2 blocks away, but we were still able to sleep late with earplugs. Overall very happy we chose to stay here and will definitely be returning.

Durham NC one bedroom apartment in downtown Durham NC
Checkin process was as advertised and requires you park on the street until you get in the apartment to get the remote to open the secure parking area. The apartment is very spacious with modern full size appliances and everything in the kitchen that you will need. Bedroom was big with a big closet with access to the bathroom via it through a door. Bathroom was very nice and decent size. Owners are responsive with any issues that arise. Living room was very well appointed and overlooked the pool. The building has a very nice club room where you could bring a lot of people to entertain if the room became crowded with too many people. I would stay there again if I needed a space with more room than a hotel with a secure space to park under the building.

Very nice, clean condo in a perfect location
The unit was very clean and comfortable. It's also quite a spacious 1-bedroom. Modern kitchen/bath/amenities. And you really can't beat the location, right between the tobacco warehouse district and the heart of downtown. The owners are lovely and a pleasure to work with. Will definitely be booking with them again.
