Campanella is a one bedroom apartment on the fourth floor of a historic building close to Castel Sant’Angelo, the river Tiber, Piazza Navona and Via dei Coronari. A rare occurrence for a block this old, you can count on an elevator, before it there are 20 steps.
Past the entrance, this property is in the predominant tones of white, cream and wood, with wooden floors in a minimalistic space. The bedroom is on your right and features a classic French bed (please note that this is smaller than your average double bed) and a wardrobe - you won't need to worry about storing your clothes and luggage!

The recently renovated bathroom is equipped with a shower and washing machine, for all of your laundry needs.

In the living/dining room a sofa turns into a comfortable double bed, which makes this space perfect for a small family or two couples of friends. Behind it, a wall-mounted kitchenette has all the essentials to fix up a quick meal including pots and crockery, a fridge with a small freezer space, a gas-fired oven and microwave oven, as well as a toaster and moka coffee pot.

The flat relies on independent heating and is equipped with both A/C (in the living/dining room) and a romantic ceiling fan (in the bedroom): just leave the door to the bedroom open and the apartment will be perfectly cool! A WI-FI connection is offered free of charge to all guests and a smart TV system will help you keep up to date with the offerings from your favorite streaming services!

Appartement agréable très bien situé

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L'appartement est très bien situé, nous avons presque tout fait à pieds, même avec des enfants (7 et 10 ans) : proche du meilleur glacier de Rome, de la place Navona, du Panthéon... nous avons seulement pris le bus pour le Colisée et le forum. L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien équipé. Le gros bémol : la literie du salon. Vraiment inconfortable, mon mari et moi avons très mal dormi les 4 nuits. Le lit grince dès qu'on bouge, même très peu... En résumé, appartement idéal à 2 ! Bon séjour !

Appartement bien situé mais vétuste

L’appartement est bien situé, à moins de 10 minutes de la piazza Navona et c’est là son plus grand avantage. L’intérieur est ancien comme beaucoup de logements à Rome, vétuste, il n’y a pas de fenêtre extérieure dans la chambre et il n’est pas bien isolé. La salle de bain est très correcte. Nous avons eu une coupure d’électricité durant 14h et aucun geste n’a été fait de la part de l’agence. Le rapport qualité prix est cher au global et le service client aurait pu être plus compréhensif mais il est l’image beaucoup d’italiens dans cette (magnifique) ville : si on peut gagner de l’argent sur le dos de quelques touristes alors pourquoi s’en priver ?

Superbe location pour découvrir Rome

Appartement génial pour découvrir Rome. Tout peut se faire à pied (Vatican, centre historique et même le Colisée n’est qu’à 40min à pied). Le quartier est super également pour ses restaurants (Campo del Firori à moins de 10min à pied) et ses services (supermarché, pharmacie et même dépose bagages bien utile pour le dernier jour). L’appartement était super propre, agréable (chambre sur l’arrière donc très calme pour dormir) et très bien équipé. Les échanges avec l’agence de location était très facile : merci à Sara qui nous a bien aidé pour les réservations des transferts aéroport-appartement et la procédure de Check-in et Check-out super simple grâce aux vidéos envoyées avant. Top séjour. Nous recommandons sans réserve ce lieu ;)

Location, location, location

The apartment’s location is ideally situated to access major tourist sites, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and public transportation. There is even a spot to stash your bags on the block if you arrived too early for check in. It’s not a fussy place, and has all the essentials I needed for a pleasant 5-day stay.

Great location but interesting apartment

An unbelievable location and access to everything Rome! So much history, so many restaurants and so many merchants… We absolutely loved it! Now, honestly, there were a few challenges as the first access to the elevator is really two flights up! So when they say “third floor” expect SIX flights of stairs. The coffee maker really needs replacing as it is a drip drip drip, restart, drip drip drip. And NO, it’s not the type maker because we have the same one at home. Also, enjoy the shower as a challenge. Looks great but usability is a different story… LOLHOWEVER, you WILL NOT beat this location! It is in an absolutely amazing spot.

Amazing Location

The apartment had plentiful outlets and lights. Was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were within a short walking distance of the Tiber River, the Navona Plaza, great shops, restaurants, Vatican City and St. Angelo’s Castle. Bus lines were nearby.

Nice, convenient to all attractions

Nice apt, plenty of room. Shower might be tight for larger guests. Directed to turn a/c off during day, it was fine for us when we got back but may be warm if you're not used to the heat. Washer and drying rack was a plus. Good size fridge and close to market stores. Convenient to all the attractions

Perfect location

Wonderful location for hop on hop off bus. Good location for trains, estaurants and shopping. Had everything we needed. Was very hot and ac took awhile to cool down each night as they ask you turn ot off when gone and we were most of the morning and afternoons.

Good location but HOT

This is a basic no frills apt in the old section of Rome. The location is great as a starting point for exploring on both sides of the Tiber River. While the weather in Rome was hot, the temperature in the apt was almost unbearable.The a/c never cooled the apt below 29C even though we had it at max cooling at night. The cool air never reached the bedroom which had no a/c, only a ceiling fan which was inadequate. For the price, this is a good little apt but not in the heat of summer!

Convenient Location

The apartment was nice. At first, I had trouble with check in. So, I contacted Vrbo and I was able to get the owner’s WhatsApp number. The day we arrived , we couldn’t use the elevator. Apparently it wasn’t working. The AC that is in the living room is not enough to cool the bedroom.

Amazing location but additional fees

The property is exactly as described and comfortably accommodated our family of 3! The AC and in-unit washing machine were added perks for an old building. Very walkable and located on a picturesque street. We genuinely enjoyed our stay here! And the check-in videos were a nice added touch to navigating how to get in etc. I did only give 4 stars as the property manager had us fill out additional information on a 3rd party website (not VRBO) and pay a Rome city tax. This process appears to be standard for most places in Rome however information about this wasn’t included on the listing when we booked. I was contacted a few weeks before our stay to provide the additional information and pay the added fee. I feel like this should be disclosed up front. I would still recommend this unit to friends (a couple or small family with 1-2 children).

Location was so perfect!

It is a very cute flat which was great for a first time trip to Rome, truly a walking distance from most of the sites I wanted to see. I stayed with a friend so I slept on the pullout couch bed and it was probably the most comfortable pullout I’ve ever slept on surprisingly. Also very nice that there are plenty of kitchen supplies and things for if you want to cook. Host was super responsive as well when messaged and self check in was very easy with the instructions sent. When I come back to Rome I would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is in a terrific location, central to all the major sites and restaurants. Emanuele and his team were open and responsive to all our questions and needs.
