Great location!
Very nice house, all the room we needed and a great backyard for our dog! Owner was very nice and the location was perfect for our needs! Beautiful park with trails less than 10 min away!

Fantastic experience at a great price.
The property was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back with lots of seating around the fire. Everything was clean and it was nice to have a screened in porch to hang out with the family without the bother of bugs. Lots of places to sleep including a pullout bed in the living room. Host was informative upon prior to arrival. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful time! We utilized all of the house, porch and yard. Enjoyed the quiet peaceful neighborhood and went to Hunting Island daily. The house was clean and comfortable for our group of five.

This neighborhood is tucked back off the main road. The house was as described. Nice screen porch on the front to enjoy the evening. The 4 star for cleanliness is for the backyard not the house. It rained a lot when we were there and that area gets pretty muddy. We appreciated being able to park the boat in the back yard under the cover, but you do have to be able to back a boat well to make the turn!

Good stay, great potential
Perhaps the most disappointing was the L.R. furniture, with the recliner being unusable, the couch beyond end of life on the cushions (permanently <50%; very hard to get in/out of if you have a set-back or aren’t as young as you once were), and an additional chair at EOL. The love seat was still in decent condition. We ended up using a beach/camping chair as a supplement.

Lovely home near beach
We so enjoyed our stay! Perfect for a family with pets. Fenced in back yard. I did attempt to sit in the hammock and flipped myself upside down but that's on me! Would definitely book again. Beds are super comfortable and home is very clean with modern appliances.

The house was smaller than expected. There is a board nailed down to the floor by the bar as if it's covering a hole which I think it is because when you step on it, it's softer in the middle . The furniture was not comfortable. The carpet in the sunroom is torn up and stained. It was listed that there would be shampoo and things like that there was no shampoo and one bathroom was a very very small bar of hand soap smaller than what you get in a hotel there were two rolls of toilet paper and

Spring in St Helena Island
We stayed six weeks from late February to early April and enjoyed watching spring unfold. This was our 2nd stay at this property. It's perfect for us and our dog (who loves the fenced back yard), and comfortably accommodated friends who visited for brief periods. We shall be back! Only fly in the ointment was check-in. The property manager really needs to get his act together here. The house had basically been trashed by the previous tenant and was not ready for occupancy until well into the evening (after we'd been traveling). With that said, he is easy to communicate with and issues were promptly resolved once brought to his attention. We quite enjoyed the rest of our stay, but it started on a sour note, unfortunately.

Great vacation
Had a great time here. Vacation with friends to go shrimping. Plenty of parking for 2 boats and trucks. Nice house in a quite neighborhood. Location was perfect. Owner was very quick to get back to me with questions. Will be back!

Fun time by the coast
We enjoyed the area because it was not developed and commercialized but rather quiet and quaint. The Hunting Island State Park beach was easy to get to, not crowded, clean and people were all friendly. We enjoyed this rental very much because it had everything we needed and our large-breed dog was welcome. The owner was very responsive to our questions--the door code we got originally was not correct but he gave us the other one right away. Despite there not being many rentals in the area, the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming.

Worst stay ever
When we arrived at the house. The door code wouldn't work. Had to call owner get another one. When we got in the house had not been cleaned. Called owner again. He said he would get a cleaning crew out. They showed up around 830. Left 1045 pm. He offered for a couple more days of stay. We had to go to work the next day. So that didn't help.

Pleasant time on St Helena Island
This was a wonderful house with nice amenities. Our dogs loved the big back yard and all the beach adventures. The owner was great. We would definitely rent this again.
