Wonderful family vacation

Property is as advertised, if not even more spacious. Location was great to get around the attractions like Six Flags and Seaworld. Only 20 minutes to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. Communication with the property manager was great.One thing to be aware of, the hot tub is wonderful, but the pool is not heated. The filtration system also wasn’t working very well, so it took quite a bit of skimming each morning to get the pool swimmable. It was quite hot when we were there, so the pool was OK for the kids, but pretty chilly for adults. If you visit in cooler weather, I would imagine the hot tub would be great, but the pool would not be usable.

Great home, great communication

We had a great stay at this property. I've never had a cleaner experience and I've stayed at a lot of places on the road. It was easy to feel comfortable here. Jose was extremely accessible and always available. Thank you for everything.

Great house for a large group

We were eight senior women who were visiting San Antonio for a girls getaway. The house was perfect for our needs. We had trouble with the jacuzzi not heating up but the host communicated with us. We appreciated the snacks that were left for us and the kitchen was well equipped but I would like to suggest a small pepper shaker to go with the salt. I would also like the house rules to be printed and left in the house. The host told me I could read it with a link but it never worked and I was always worried that I was missing something important. I would stay here again if I was planning another trip.

Great home with lots of room and fun things

We attended a conference in San Antonio. The home was just perfect for five of us to spread out and have our own space. We enjoyed sitting out by the pool and the hot tub in the evening. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows were great.Large kitchen to use Tv in the bedrooms. And lots of entertainment

Our family had an amazing stay at this property! It was a great central location to Sea World and the Riverwalk. The pool area and game room were a hit for all of us. The property was clean and the property manager was kind and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect pool house!

This house was prefect for our annual family vacation! It had everything we needed. Plenty of room for a big family. A very nice and clean pool with hot tub. The house itself was very clean! I recommend this house for a great family get away. It’s also not far at all from the River Walk.

Great Host

We had the pleasure at staying at this residence for our summer vacation. Everything was as listed, communication with the host was fast and prompt, house was set up great. They supplied everything you would need to enjoy your stay. The kids absolutely loved everything available there for our stay. This place will definitely keep your kids entertained. The pool and outside areas was amazing, spent most of the time outside then inside playing games mornings and nights. Would definitely recommend!

Family Time

I have stayed at numerous VBOs and have always been able to check in a little early if we arrived early but I could not reach anyone of the numbers given. One of the numbers were wrong also. Also coffee pot was broken took several days to get another one. After I bought coffee for the coffee maker and it being broke I had to buy keuirg K cups then the new coffee maker arrived days later. Also ice maker broke in freezer had to buy ice. Guy came to fix it but could not. Hot tub did not heat and never turned on. In the game room foosball table did not have ball catchers the billiard table all the pockets on table were broken and balls fall on floor. The sticks were also broken and no tips. Pac Man joystick kept falling off was broken. 6 people only had 5 wash cloths even after I told owner we were adding additional person

Big house stay.

Overall the stay was wonderful. Several things were broken. We reported them but noone came to fix them. The ice maker wouldnt make ice. The jaccuzi tub in the master bath was broken. One of the garage door wouldnt lift without help Lifting. The AC would only cool to 80 degrees upstairs. Pool was wonderful. Hot tub was great.

Great property

We had a great experience. The owner was very responsive with quickly responded to any questions before, during and after our visit. He was very helpful in getting our belongings back that we left at the property which was a huge relief! The location was great, easy access to many different activities, attractions and food. The property itself was very clean and one of the best stocked places we have stayed at. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Would highly recommend!

My group stayed here for a week long trip to San Antonio and absolutely loved the house. Having full use of the garage was extremely convenient when bad weather came through. The pool was perfect and the hot tub was even better. When we first arrived the house was extremely clean and there were plenty of towels, soap, etc. to go around for a group of 10. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Not quite what we expected

Positives: Spacious house, big pool, great game room, appliances are very nice, number of TVs and accessibility to apps is great, the internet is good quality. Negatives: Dated furniture, overall cleanliness could be improved as the older furniture is dingy. Grill was too greasy to use. Things that can’t be changed: The house is on a busy road with a bus stop behind the house. The master bedroom faces the road so it’s loud throughout the night (unless you’re used to city sounds). There are a lot of stairs. The game room, living room and main floor bedroom sit about 6 steps lower than the kitchen and eating spaces. The steps are brick and a little rough. Not a big deal, but for anyone with mobility issues, it’s important. There’s also two sets of stairs to get to the pool area. Biggest issue: The hot tub wasn’t working and we had to do our own maintenance on it. It completely shut down on the third day. Luckily we called one of the technicians and he was able to walk us through fixing it when we couldn’t get a hold of owner. The pool does not heat automatically. It runs through a cycle that you have to monitor manually by heating the hot-tub then cycling that hot water into the pool. On warm days, it works fine. In 60 degree weather, the pool did not heat to a usable temp. Overall it was an average stay. We expected more so we felt somewhat let down. We had a good time with our family but if we had known some of these things we would have had more realistic expectations.
