Casa Bella Vista is named for its exceptional Caribbean views, so it’s no surprise that it is also built to admire them. Both levels – each, a separate 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental – of this beachfront home (with 75’ of private beachfront!) offer covered patios. There’s also a small beachfront plunge pool and spectacular pier that extends out 300’ to a thatched-roof palapa.

A rooftop deck offers the best of all worlds –360º views of the Caribbean Sea, with sunrises over the planet’s second-largest barrier reef AND kaleidoscopic sunsets over the lagoon. From up here, you can even see our neighboring island of Caye Caulker and the world-famous Hol Chan Marine Reserve!

Q. HOW DO WE GET TO AMBERGRIS CAYE?

A. Guests arriving to Belize must transfer via regional flight or boat to the island of Ambergris Caye. Most of our guests choose the flight option for its convenience and comfort. The island’s airstrip is in San Pedro town, the only town located on the island of Ambergris Caye. Casa Bella Vista is located approximately 4 miles south of San Pedro town.

Q. HOW DO WE GET TO CASA BELLA VISTA UPON OUR ARRIVAL TO THE ISLAND?

A. We are pleased to arrange your airport transfers.

Q. HOW FAR IS CASA BELLA VISTA FROM THE AIRSTRIP/SAN PEDRO?

A. We are located 4 miles south of San Pedro town, the road is partially paved and partially hard-packed sand. (about a 20 min drive)

Q. HOW DO WE GET AROUND THE ISLAND OF AMBERGRIS CAYE?

A. Your beach home is in the south end area of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro Town. While taxi service is available on island (pay direct), most of our guests enjoy the convenience and novelty of renting a golf cart. You must have a valid driver’s license and be over 18 to drive a golf cart. Reservations are required.

Q. WHAT IS CASA BELLA VISTA’S ADDRESS? CAN I SHIP ITEMS AHEAD?

A. We don’t stand on formalities here on the island. Casa Bella Vista is the green house, across the street “ish” from STAX coffee bar, about 4 miles south of San Pedro town, just after Hol Chan Condos.

There is no such thing as overnight courier service to/from Belize and the services that exist can be expensive and timely. Additionally, your items could get stuck in customs – for a very long time. In other words, shipping your items to Belize is not advisable.

Q. WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH OUR HOME RENTAL?

A. We start you off with the basics: Coffee, coffee filters, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towel, dish soap, toilet tissue, laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo and body wash.

Q. IS THE HOUSE AIR-CONDITIONED?

A. Yes, all the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Q. CAN YOU ARRANGE OUR TOURS?

Upon your arrival at your beach getaway, we will review your activities itinerary To avoid cancellation penalties – which is often the full price of the tour – you must cancel more than 24-hours to trip departure time.

Q. IS THERE AN OUTDOOR GRILL?

A. A charcoal grill is provided, we can provision your home with charcoal with notice.

Q. DOES THE HOME HAVE A TELEPHONE?

A. There is no landline telephone at Casa Bella Vista.

Q. IS THERE HIGH SPEED WIFI?

A. Complimentary WIFI is included. Please note that WIFI service in Belize will not be as fast or reliable as you are accustomed to and may not be suitable for streaming entertainment.

Q. WHAT TV CHANNELS DO YOU HAVE?

A. The major USA Networks; ABC, NBC, CBC and FOX as well as their partner news channels are available along with HBO, a variety of movie channels and ESPN sports channels.

Q. IS FISHING EQUIPMENT INCLUDED?

A. No, fishing equipment is not included.

Q. DOES THE HOUSE HAVE LAUNDRY FACILITIES?

A. Yes, only available for guests staying 7night or longer and available at mid stay. We are also happy to swap out towels at request.

Q. DOES THE HOUSE HAVE A HAIRDRYER?

A. Yes, each level has a hairdryer.

A. Yes, each level has a safe.

Q. HOW IS THE BEACH? CAN WE SWIM OFF THE BEACH?

A. The beaches of Belize have Seagrass or "Turtle Grass" growing, this is harmless and in fact is an important part of Belize’s ecosystem. This grass can grow in our shallow waters as we have such strong protection from the World's second largest barrier reef. This means our waters are warm, calm, and shallow for quite a way out and we do not for the most part of traditional walk-in beaches. For guests wishing to swim in the Caribbean, our dock has stairs leading into the water, diving is not permitted. Please note: periodically, Belize, along with other areas of Central America, The Caribbean, Mexico, and USA, will experience periods of Sargassum Seaweed washing ashore. Sargassum Seaweed comes from the Sargasso Sea in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and is normally kept at bay by water temperatures and currents. We work diligently to keep our beach clear; however, guests should be aware when visiting coastal areas that seaweed may be present.

Q. IS THERE A POOL ONSITE?

A. We have a small plunge pool in the yard where you can cool down while enjoying the Caribbean views and breezes.

Q. DO YOU PROVIDE POOL TOWELS?

A. We provide one pool towel per person. We are happy to swap towels if requested.

Q. CAN WE DRINK THE WATER?

A. We start you off with 5-Gallons of purified drinking water in a dispenser. Additional 5-gallons can be provided upon request.

Q. IS THERE A DUTY-FREE SHOP ON THE ISLAND?

A. There is no duty-free shopping available on island. When you arrive in Belize, there is a duty-free shop at baggage claim where you can stock up on liquor and other items if you’d like.

Q. HOW CAN WE GET GROCERIES?

A. We can provide recommendations for provisioning services in advance of your arrival or you can grocery shop once you are on island.

Q. ARE THERE RESTAURANTS, BARS OR GROCERY STORES NEARBY?

A. STAX Coffee bar/restaurant, open seasonally during the day, is located a short walk from our house. The nearest small store is approximately 1.5 miles north as are Black Orchid and Someplace South restaurants. Be sure to tell them Noodle sent you.

Very accommodating employees (Iris and her husband) and the owners Lisa and Ed were wonderful. We planned a wedding ceremony with a large group 17+ and it was phenomenal. They set up a whole area for our group and it looks beautiful and worked amazing. The hosts booked our hopper flights and the golf carts and had them waiting at the house. They set up a taxi ride ($25 there and $25 back) which was very efficient. The property was absolutely gorgeous. It is farther away (15-20 minutes) and longer when it rains so be prepared. The mosquitos were crazy but that’s okay it was still worth it, just bring bug spray. The WiFi is spotty but Lisa let us know in advance. The AC works well in each room and the living rooms. The kitchens were great and had almost everything you need. If you have a large group definitely have Iris get you extra water because we used a ton early on and had to order more. The pool was great and we used it daily. Overall it was a great place to stay and we absolutely loved it. Wonderful for a wedding venue and the photos were absolutely amazing.

Awesome, Carefree trip to Ambergris Caye
We had 4 couples and stayed March 1-10. Going through our research on where to stay, Ed & Lisa answered all our questions very promptly. And once we booked, they continued to answer questions, booked our Mayan Air flight, arranged taxis, reserved our golf carts, and assisted with our sailboat excursion. Ed booked our sailboat excursion with Ambergris Divers which I would highly recommend. They picked us right up from our dock! The house worked out great for us with 2 couples on each floor. There are no internal stairs between the floors, but it was easy to access both floors by the external staircase. We enjoyed the pool, kayaks, and bag toss while hanging out at the house. Also, they were nice loungers to use will relaxing by the pool or on the beach. While at the house, Iris helped with all needs. She was always quick in responding. We would highly recommend Noodles Retreat. Between Ed, Lisa, and Iris, they took very good care of us.

Great stay for our FRamily!
We were a group of 3 families of 4- 6 kids and 6 adults. The house was a great fit for us. The property was well appointed and clean. The dock, view, and outside area for the kids (and grownups) to play was fantastic. It was a little farther from town than we expected (but we had no frame of reference and it was just as described in the listing). All this meant for us was needing to be a little more purposeful in planning groceries and meals, etc. No big deal. There is a bar/restaurant right across the street from the house called Stax- we ate there 3 times in 6 days! Robin the bartender is awesome, the ambiance was chill and perfect, the drinks were solid, and the food was INCREDIBLE. 25 out of 10, would recommend. The owners and proerty managers of the house were easy to work with and very helpful. We had 3 excursions that started from pick ups right at the dock. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Famiky Vacation
We loved our time at Casa Bella Vista. Lisa was a wonderful host and made many excellent suggestions and helped us book everything we wanted to do with the best tour guides. We did a snorkel tour which was the best we have ever experienced in all the places we have traveled and a half day of reef fishing. They pick you up right at the dock behind the house for these activities which is super convenient. They cleaned the fish for us so you could cook yourself or bring to a restaurant. (we caught almost 40 fish so it was quite fun and kept kids attention well) As far as location, it is beautiful but its a bit of a drive to town and the roads can be bumpy depending on recent weather. The kids loved that part of the adventure racing around in the golf cart. The drive was much easier and quicker once they were able to fill the holes the recent rain had made. The house itself and the grounds were great. Iris the caretaker was extremely attentive to anything we needed. Supplies were limited so pack ziploc/cling wrap/foil if you plan to cook much. The house is two separate units and we found we had to move supplies from one unit to the other instead of both having one of everything. Only the lower unit has a dishwasher and there is a washer/dryer but you can only access it for one day during your stay so plan accordingly. Overall we had an amazing time! Also check out the mainland tours, or plan to stay a day or two over there. The zip line/cave tubing was awesome! Highly recommend.

Great location and house
Noodles is a great place to stay. 5 friends and I stayed for a week. The place is "as pictured." The property managers live nearby and responded very quickly to our request for things like kayaks. The property owners were very communicative and offered to help us plan our stay. They provided a lot of options to help with like golf carts. Throughout the stay all questions were answered. Check-in and Check-out were all relatively easy. They asked for very little to be done upon check-out, which is nice. The area is great, with infrequent traffic. You definitely need a golf cart if you stay here, but that is probably true of just about every rental place on the island. This was an absolutely great stay with outstanding hosts and staff. Will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Great getaway
We loved our stay. Our group was three families each with a 14 year old boys and one with an 8 year old. The house was immaculate. The owners made sure we had everything we needed at the house. We used the recommended guide for fishing, snorkeling and a day at Secret Beach; we had the same guides for everything.. We needed two boats and the teenagers went with Shadow who gave them a sense of independence but also was great with them. They made sure we caught plenty of fish and brought lots of lobster home for dinner. We ate at Stacks a couple of times which was fantastic. Everyone who could eat gluten raved about the lobster and shrimp pizza. I am gluten free and was delighted that the owner was very knowledgeable; the corn chips have a dedicated fryer so I was able to eat nachos with most of the meat options. Groceries are the tricky part; eating out my be less expensive than restaurants. We love cooking and with my allergy we chose to mostly cook. The produce stands were great, but proteins are very expensive. Buy ALL of your liquor at the Airport, wine is ridiculous on the island. The only thing that was unexpected was the length of check-in. There are a lot of rules(with good reason), but with last minute flight changes and quick layovers the kids had not eaten in 8 hours. We were all starving and we spent an hour on check in before we were able to break away for dinner at Stacks. I highly recommend Noodle Retreat for a great time.

UnBELIZABLE
This place and the whole crew at Noodles Retreat are amazing. We had some issues arise that didn't involve them (our fault tho) and they immediately jumped in to help us even though they sure didn't have to. Their kindness and above exceptional service helped me/us through it all. Iris is amazing and Lisa too! We managed to still enjoy our trip and will be back in May. Their recommendations were top notch too!

Perfect place
The Owners were great and met us upon arrival to explain everything to us. They set up taxi pickup from the airport and the golf carts for traveling on the island. Iris and Eldon were a resource for us when we need towels changed out or new water jugs delivered. The location is very quiet and near some delicious restaurants and across the street from Stax Bar (highly recommend)! The main street needs some work to make the ride a little smoother when heading into town. All of our excursions picked us up from the dock which was super convenient. The place was perfect for our extended family to visit as well. Thanks so much for making our trip a memorable one!

The discrepancies in what is available at the property do not match what’s available. The washer and dryer, although they are in the house are locked up. The back sliding for did not lock at all. And the amenities offered should be listed before hand, not after you get there and and told you’re out.

House on the water
Easy rental process for a large group, lovely to have our own pool and the fishing tour boats picked people up from the dock! Amazing views and very secure. Having golf carts is necessary but you can find them for rent everywhere. House was comfy but slightly ill-equipped for cooking, coffee, one bottle of seasoning, salt and pepper.

Great house for 3 families
Lovely and spacious home. Owners, who live nearby, helped with all sorts of logistics - transport from/to airport, renting golf carts (a must!), booking a snorkel tour, getting cash - that made our stay easy and worry free. The house was a great fit for my family and well maintained by the owners and their local property managers. We had 4 adults and 6 kids ages 17 to 7 yo and the bedrooms/bathrooms and living spaces were perfect for our needs. Location is not centrally located but a good choice if your focus is to hang out and relax together.

The house great!!! Management no!!
We were told we would have taxi drivers on pick up to island to find house we did not! We had to find our own. Also communication was just horrible Lisa and Ed were our host and I was the host on vacation I didn't even get to meet them not once. Other then the communication everything was great the house is gorgeous

Great for family retreat
Located on the quite south end of the the island this place offers amazing views and accommodations. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs. Two full kitchens, but if you plan on cooking you may need to bring some pot and pans. Traveling with people with disabilities? There are no grab bars in the showers. The first floor master has a nice large area but the showerhead is not detachable. The second bathroom on the first floor had a detachable show head but the tub wll is a bit high when can make it tricky to navigate. The host was helpful in finding a nurse for respite care so I could get away for a few hours. Overall the place was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay. Iris and Eldon were wonderful. If we needed anything, they were there to help. Loved the porch for morning coffee. Definitely need a golf cart to get to town and restaurants.

Felt right at home in a tropical paradise!
My father and I had planned a surprise 60th birthday for my mother for a party of 10 adults - 5 couples. Casa Bella Vista was the ideal spot to house us comfortably for our 5 night stay. Everyone was more than pleased with their space and all else the rest of the property had to offer. All of us are travelers and have stayed at many rental properties and resorts, we were all incredibly impressed with not just the property, but the attentiveness of the owner, Ed, and property managers, Lisa and Eldon. We all agreed that we felt as if we were staying at a family’s home as the care and diligence provided was far more superior than we could have imagined from a rental. In addition to our incredible stay at Casa Bella Vista, we were provided with further accommodations such as grocery shopping, cooked meals, golf cart rentals, massage services, etc. They made everything incredibly easy for us, leaving us to just enjoy our time there and with one another. I would also like to mention that if there was an issue (which were few and far between), it would be resolved immediately, as if there was never one in the first place. I have already recommended Casa Bella Vista to some other friends and hope that they get to experience to first class hospitality and comfort of this lovely abode.

PERFECT!
Everything about this home was perfect! The property management group, on the site managers, the location, the view, the home was just perfect! There were 11 of us and we all enjoyed our time here celebrating my 50th birthday. One of our guests lost her most valued backpack (cash, passport, etc) off the golf cart on day 1. Iris, Eldon and Lisa all went above and beyond and they ultimately found the backback within 1 day. Iris & Eldon were always quick and responsive upon any request. I highly recommend staying here and we will be back again. Thank you so much for making our stay rememarkable.

South San Pedro Stay
Great house, two floors, each with living room and kitchen. Wonderful beach area and pier with palapa. Several days we saw a spotted stingray off the pier. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. House is quite south of town, but we enjoyed the golf cart rides. Stay Bar is across the street, great place to watch sports. We also loved Someplace South and Toast. Great house for families. We all enjoyed the pool. Needs more chairs by pool and beach. Nice little screened in porch. Our one disappointment was that they advertised a washer and dryer, and after several days of being there, we couldn’t get it to work. The owners said the previous guests overloaded it, so they turned it off, waiting for a new motor. We only brought 4-5 sets of clothes, counting on laundry, and this wasn’t mentioned to us before we arrived or at check in. The house caretakers, Eldon and Iris are wonderful! We even had Iris make breakfast for us, it was wonderful! The two kayaks were great to have!
