Villa Gioia is a brand new, modern building in a panoramic position on the first hill of Sanremo, surrounded by olive trees and rich Mediterranean flora. Its name foretells captivating scenarios and atmospheres: the Joy of staying in an exclusive villa with swimming pool, a beautiful garden, a large panoramic terrace and spacious interiors equipped with all modern comforts. The Joy of being enchanted while admiring the sea and the horizon until sunset, marvelling at the spectacle of colours that the setting sun paints in the sky. The Joy of being amazed when, in the middle of the night, in front of the large living room windows, you will be transported on an imaginary flight over the city of Sanremo, all lit up. The Joy of a wonderful holiday in the company of friends and family between a swim in the pool, a barbecue in the garden and a dinner on the terrace. The Joy of exploring the extraordinary area around Sanremo, the City of Flowers which every year hosts the famous Italian Song Festival. The Joy of discovering the beaches of the Riviera dei Fiori, wide and sandy, often interspersed with rocky stretches. The Joy of a journey into the past by visiting the nearby ancient borghi of Dolceacqua, Bussana Vecchia, Dolcedo, Triora and Apricale with their enchanting and magical atmosphere. Interior:
The villa has two floors. The main entrance is on the ground floor, composed of a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with double sofa bed (with 17 cm think memory mattress), a kitchenette and a laundry room communicating with the garage. Two ramps of stairs go up to the first floor composed of an open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen with access out to the large terrace, a corridor along which are two double bedrooms (one of which has access to the large terrace) with ensuite bathroom with shower, a guest bathroom and a pantry. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and in the livingroom.
Park:
Once past the automatic entrance gate, an illuminated driveway crosses the first part of the garden and goes up to the paved parking area where four cars can comfortably fit, with two inside the double garage. From here, six steps lead up to the first level of the garden with the solarium and the beautiful infinity pool with great panoramic views of the coast and the sea, located on the south front of the large garden that surrounds the villa. From the solarium and the lawn around the pool, ten steps lead up to the large terrace on the first floor that communicates with the second level of the garden where, near the covered terrace with the dining table, the barbecue is located. In keeping with the peculiarity of the Riviera dei Fiori and its climate, particularly mild even during the cold seasons, the garden is lush with plants, flowers and trees characteristic of the area, with the olive tree undisputed protagonist.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The infinity pool with the sea as background is rectangular in shape, measures 11 x 4,50 m with a maximum depth of 1.4 m, has a sand-coloured lining and the purification plant combines automatic glass filtration with natural disinfection resulting from the salinity of the water which guarantees a natural and sustainable chlorination. Two steps facilitate entry into the water and the bottom slopes gently down to a maximum depth of 1.4 m. A stone border separates the pool from the lawn and the solarium equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The surrounding area is illuminated by spotlights and the pool has internal lighting which creates fascinating nighttime atmospheres. Access to the swimming pool by climbing the 6 steps from the terrace of the bedrooms on the ground floor or going down the 10 steps from the large terrace of the living room on the first floor. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October, offering Guests maximum comfort thanks to water heating (available with extra cost).
