Set over one floor, this premium modern and contemporary villa is beautifully furnished and finished and within easy walking distance of a nearby café, a couple of eating places and bars and a supermarket.
With open sea-views and surrounded by a large lawn and garden, the swimming pool features a large shallow area, making it a great villa for families or to simply relax and enjoy a drink.
The spacious open-plan lounge and dining leads to the front veranda (for alfresco dining) and is complemented by a high tech modern and fully equipped kitchen and side laundry room. A corridor leads to the bedroom area and a small corner with a desk and chair, should you need to work away from home.
Many further facilities are close by: The village of Caniço with a good selection of restaurants and a branded supermarket; the resort of Caniço de Baixo with its lovely sea promenade, and the lovely Portinho sea access; the capital, Funchal, which is only 20 minutes drive away.

Madeira

Cleaning
Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

The minimum stay is 07 nights.

Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent once you have paid your balance. You will be met at the villa on arrival and shown around.

You will be required to pay 2€ per person per night for all guests aged over 13 years old, up to a maximum of 14€ per person. This payment is required in cash at check-in, so please have it ready.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:



Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal. Travel for 6.7 Km.

Come off the motorway at EXIT 17 signposted Assomada and Porto Novo and take the slip road to the end (STOP sign).

Turn left up the hill, towards Assomada and Porto Novo.

You will now travel for Travel for 2.6 Km. You will reach a roundabout (by the church of Assomada) at 1.7 Km. Take the 2nd exit signposted Funchal. 900 m further on you will come to a slightly hidden turn-off on your left signposted Mãe de Deus and Praia dos Reis Magos. To turn left, you need to move to the left-hand feeder lane.

After turning left, keep left and keep turning left. Descend and as you reach the bottom of the hill (500m) there is a pedestrian crossing with a hump in the road. You now reach the Snack-bar Recanto da Pitada. Keep going forward past the first turn-off on the right.
On the right there is a block of apartments with a minimarket and café Padaria Pastelaria Cabeço. Drive past the front of these apartments and then turn right into Rua Padre António Rosa Câmara.
Follow this street to the end (around 100m), passing Edificio Vale Park. At the end you will find the private driveway of Ocean Sunset Villa on your left. Drive into the private driveway and park your car.
The grey gate in front is Ocean Sunset Villa.

Beautiful Villa - Location though…….

Everything about the villa is amazing, clean, great facilities and WiFi, BBQ and all you could need. The location is in a local village with zero holiday makers and some way from Canico, the recommended taxi service however was excellent and always available. The steepness of the hills made it difficult to get about without using him. The house next door was being renovated which meant 8am drilling and hammering for the first week but during the 2nd this had completed and we spent a good few days around the pool and in the villa itself.
