Située légèrement au-dessus du Pacifique, cette maison acceptant les chiens offre une vue imprenable sur l'océan depuis le pont, le salon et la chambre principale. Depuis le pont arrière, les clients peuvent se détendre et faire griller de délicieux fruits de mer locaux - puis passer à la cuisson des s'mores sur le foyer. L'accès public à la plage est à proximité, donc des kilomètres de côtes magnifiques ne sont qu'à quelques minutes à pied.

À proximité:
La maison est située juste en face de l'autoroute de Ocean Beaches Glassblowing & Gallery, qui démontre l'art du soufflage du verre chaque après-midi. The Wood Carving Outlet et Seal Rock Espresso & Bakery sont à quelques pas plus au sud. Seal Rock State Recreation Site, qui abrite les célèbres marées et les lions de mer de l'Oregon, est à un peu plus de 800 mètres de la maison. La charmante ville de Newport, avec sa baie animée, ses grands magasins, ses restaurants et ses brasseries, se trouve à seulement 16 km au nord sur la route 101.

I wasn't as impressed as I should have been
The property wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be. There was even a gatorade bottle half full in the windowsill when we arrived. The view was amazing, and the bed was comfortable, but the house wasn't organized, the cupboards were old and the contents thrown in with no organization, the knives provided couldn't cut through butter. It did have an ocean view, but to access the beach you have to walk down a very busy hwy (Pacific Coast Hwy) and with children I wouldn't walk there, so we had to drive. The furniture was ok, but the dining room table seemed as if it should be thrown out . I realize it was pet friendly, but for the cost, I would expect better. It did full fill our needs enough for the weekend we spent there, and the hot tub was nice, however it was in a spot where you weren't able to see the beautiful views and that didn't make a lot of sense to me. It had the feel of a Hotel 8, which is to say it was suitable, but not the nicest.

We were informed that we could check in an hour early, so we headed to the property. Upon arrival, we found the cleaning crew still working, so we had to wait. Once inside, we discovered ant poison all over the kitchen counters from leaking traps. The main living area carpet was ripped, posing a tripping hazard, and there was a musty smell throughout the home, likely from black mold in various rooms. The BBQ was out of propane, and when we replaced the tank, we found the BBQ was broken and couldn't reach the proper temperature, which was a major inconvenience for our Memorial Day weekend plans. Additionally, the WiFi signal was weak and disconnected frequently. We attempted to contact property management through several listed numbers but only received a new propane tank, which didn't resolve the BBQ issue. While the view from the deck is stunning, the home's safety concerns, particularly the black mold, make it unsuitable for rental.

Gross, dangerous beach access, bad customer service
Upon entering there was a dead, decaying rat thats clearly been there for a while, and lots of feces. Also ants everywhere to the point they were in my friend's hair. How, after this, are we expected to feel clean in the home? It was really shabby and run down, also had a weird smell to the house. It was hard to trust that things were clean in the kitchen, and ants were all over everything!! The beach access is not clearly marked/signed, and the way we did find was through a few other properties and down a really sketchy, falling apart stairwell - absolutely only for confident, able bodied adults. Its been 2 weeks since our stay and i have had very minimal if any response . I genuinely dont think this house got cleaned or checked on prior to our arrival which is gross. Cleaning fee was high and i have yet to get any type of refund. Just be aware youre paying for the deck and the view, but there are plenty of other in this exact spot that are probably way better and cleaner with the same views. This awful customer service is also another reason to not book with vrbo. I cant get an email or callback 2 weeks now. After cleaning up the dead rat, the poop, ants and in general dishes etc. We left the place cleaner than we arrived.

This property needs maintenance. Large hole in carpet, screen ripped off door frame, faucet lose, paint peeling, vinyl coming off floor, bushes over grown. It was not as advertised. I feel a rebate is due.

Anniversary celebration
It was a great place to stay. However unknown to us ahead of time the dishwasher was broken and after reading other reviews it has been broken for months. We enjoyed the spacious house, the short walk to the beach, the comfortable beds and huge dining area.

Family Birthday Gathering
8 of us gathered to celebrate my father’s 93rd birthday. All was great! Bedrooms and bathrooms all on ground level with an upstairs’ family room area. Not handicap accessible but Dad got around ok with his walker. Suggest a set of TV trays because we could not all sit at the table together. Also suggest better markings on the step down on the deck. A couple of us had trouble with knowing it was there. Kitchen pretty well stocked with cookware. Didn’t use hot tub or tv. The gas grill was very clean The view was spectacular!

Great view, cozy home.
We had a lovely stay at this property! At first, having just one TV upstairs seemed like it would be inconvenient, but it ended up we just didn't watch any TV and just enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view. It was a oerfect floor plan for our family of 6 and our dog. The weather was beautiful and added to the experience. Having the porch and access to other outside areas was nice as there was not direct beach access, though the parking area and access just down the road was quite convenient (though we brought back half the beach in the car!). The listing however, was not entirely accurate, and there was not access to the garage. The screen door was also broken, but since there were no bugs we just left the sliding door open for similar effect. All in all, we would stay here again.

The view was spectacular, but would have better if the bushes were cut back to enjoy the ocean from the hot tub and firepit. The pictures look like you are just stepping onto the beach, instead of having to drive down the street. The place was very outdated and definitely musty and not clean. Alot of money for what we expected it to be. We did enjoy the views for sure, just wish the home would have been nicer. My 89 year old mom took us on this vacation, and wish it would have been alot cleaner.

This property was great for our size group. You could not have asked for a better view from that deck!!!! Beach access was only a minute drive but really wish there were stairs to the beach from the house;) The house was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and satisfying after a chilly day at the beach.

Needs maintenance, Furniture very rickety, Shower fixture broken and leaking. Bathroom sink had to be turned on and off with a towel. Bath towels were put in cabinet while still damp. Access to upstairs room through one bedroom. Deck has a step down in middle of it and is a tripping hazard. Will not return.

This was my birthday weekend and I love the Oregon coast where we go often, but this place was a huge disappointment. It was so dirty. The dishwasher smelled like rotten fish, the carpets have dog feces and urine stains everywhere, ants were literally crawling on me and my husband in bed, the hot tub was disgusting as there was a noticeable dirt ring, biofilm and hair (I own a hot tub and no what a clean one should look like), and the drain in the master shower was backed up not making for a clean washing experience. This property sounds like beach access is nearby. Yes it is, but you can't walk there unless you want to walk down the busy 101 coastal highway, which we did once with our kids and dog and it was scary. I booked this place because I thought we had walkable beach access. The only features we like about this property was the deck, view, and private fire pit. However, the fire pit is a disaster waiting to happen. The benches made out of stacked cinder blocks are not stable and will hurt someone at some point. Way overpriced. As I mentioned, we stay at the Oregon coast a lot. I expect ocean cottages to be dated, but not filthy. It needs a good deep cleaning and drainage pipes need to be taken care of. SO disappointed.

Don't rent this house if you want a nice property.
The house is in severe disrepair. Stained carpets, broken and worn furniture, crumbling and broken steps which pose a hazard. There are no railings on multiple stairs cases. Not handicap accessible at all. I took a list of all my findings to the property manager and I was advised this property was an issue and the owner did not want to spend money to fix anything. The pictures were taken prior to being rented. If we had known the condition of the property we never would have rented it. We will not be back!!!! We paid a lot of money for a view that's it. The house was horrible.

We had a really great time but the place REALLY needs so love. The window shades were torn and hardly functional, the duvet didn't look like it had been washed. The living room table was dirty so we cleaned it before games. The kids loved the wood-paneled lair upstairs, but the wall heater looked like it was from the 50s (70 years ago!) And I have to admit I worried about its safety. The smell was not so great so we had to air it out quite a bit when we arrived. Definitely pet stains around. One person said they saw a mouse. There were ants despite there being ant traps and there was a roof leak in a bedroom (which I read will be being fixed soon) The huge windows were amazing! The view, perfect. The outdoor amenities were the best part. Although the cinder block benches were not cemented together so you couldn't even rest on the back of the bench without destroying it. Will fall apart. Hot tub was lovely. I can't decide if I would stay here again. Had a great time overall, but it was iffy and many negative mentions from my party. It's hard to understand why, with the price of this rental, why they aren't investing more into this property. It really could be AMAZING!!

Great place for a family with dogs
The house is right on the ocean. Great views. The house is layed out a little funky but was a lot of fun for our family. This is a dog friendly house so expect to see some dog hair. We were careful to pick up after our dogs but found 1 hidden treasure. It was well hidden so im not surprised the clean up crew didn't find it. The master bedroom mattress was awful. It needs to be replaced. The hot tub was maintained. The deck was wonderful. Overall we would rent this place again. Great property at a good location. Private but open.
