Welcome to The Cottage Living on Green River!

Our straight-out-of-a-storybook riverfront oasis, located in the heart of Severn Washago, North of Lake Simcoe.

A short 90 mins drive from Toronto into the calmness of nature. We have lovingly renovated our little sanctuary last year, with all new furnishings & appliances, handpicked every piece of decor with rustic finishes giving wholesome Cottage-Vibes!

Hot tub is available only during Fall, Winter & Spring.

LIVING SPACE
Beautifully designed, open concept living area consists of the dining space facing the river, along with the fully equipped chef's kitchen & long breakfast island.
We also have a cozy lounging area with wood fireplace for toasty nights, fully stocked with board games. We highly recommend early morning yoga on the docks watching the sun rise!
* Indoor firewood is provided during colder seasons

SLEEPING NESTS
Our retreat comfortably sleeps 6-7 people in our thoughtfully designed space.
1. Master bedroom with an ensuite (Queen bed with Endy Mattress)
2. Second bedroom (Full-Over-Full bunk bed)
3. Bunkie is adjacent to the main cottage (Queen-Over-Queen Bunk Bed)
* Fresh Linens, Comforters etc are provided

WASHROOMS
1. A full washroom with a standing shower in the main bedroom
2. A powder room with a built-in laundry + easy to access from the bunkie
* Fresh bath towels, hammam towels & TP are provided

OPEN CONCEPT KITCHEN
1. Appliances: Full cooking range/ oven, microwave, double-door refrigerator, dishwasher, SMEG Coffee Maker, smoothie maker, mixer, toaster etc
2. Utilities: Kettles, bowls & dishes, pots & pans, mugs, cutlery, knifes, Tupperware, kitchen towels, etc.
3. Basic Ingredients: Various Teas, Coffee grounds, Spices & herbs etc
4. Compliments from Host: Wine, Cold Beverages, Snacks & Goodies etc.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE
-- Large lawn by the riverbed nestled among massive pine trees.
-- Hawaiian style patio with Tiki Umbrella & Swing Chair will take you straight in the "vacay mode"
-- Relax & unplug laying on the hammock under the open sky
-- Patio BBQ & Tabletop fireplace available to use on the deck
-- We also have an outdoor bonfire pit to enjoy all year around. Please check the local fire-ban regulations during your stay and adhere to the rules as required.
* Propane Tank is provided

WINTER AMENITIES & ACTIVITIES
-- Jacuzzi Hot tub (2-3 person) is available between October to March
(We use tap water from the cottage, add required spa chemicals, test & balance the PH levels regularly).

-- Ice fishing
-- Snow shoeing
-- Cold plunge (at your own discretion)
*Bring your own equipments for skating, fishing etc.

EVENTS:
Elopements, Bachelors/Bachelorettes, Proposals, Engagement Ceremony and more!!! We love hosting small events up to 8-10 people.
* If you would like to use the space for professional photography or any such events, please contact the host prior to booking for special pricing.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
The cottage is minutes away from extensive forests and waterways of Trent Severn, offering tons of activities such as biking, hiking or snowmobiling on the excellent trails!
We are in the heart of Washago minutes aways to cute local restaurants, ice-cream shops, fresh groceries and bakery stores, LCBO, farmer's markets and so much more.

FOR CHILDREN
We want the families to enjoy the cottage with their little ones, but is up to parents to ensure the safety and precautions of their children.
A few things to note:
- Indoor fireplace gets hot when used
- Not child proof (sharp objects, corners, outlets, cupboards etc.)
- Portable crib not provided
- Close proximity to the river from the decks

DOG-FRIENDLY
- Maximum of 2 dogs allowed (fleas free, non-shedding is a must!)
- Guests MUST let us know prior to booking (Extra charges applied if not informed)
- Dogs are not allowed on any furniture, beds etc
- Scoop the poop! Strictly outside.
- We don't allow cats due to hardwood flooring & leather furniture

Guest access
The Cottage is accessed by a private street (approx. 1-min drive) and has private parking enough for 3-4 cars. Guests will access the Cottage via lockbox .

Guests are required to take the garbage & recycle with them upon check out.
Waste Discard Service for Garbage and Recycles:
Option 1:
5200 Country Road 169 Township, Ramara (14 mins drive from the cottage)
Open: Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 8.30 am till 4pm

Option 2:
Mid Ontario Disposal, 24 Kitchener St, Orillia, ON L3V 6Z9 (22 mins drive from the cottage)
Open: Monday to Friday - 7am - 5pm

Option 3:
Beiers Road Landfill Site
