Ideally situated just one block from the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center, this tree-lined home in Black Butte Ranch gives you easy walking access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, fitness facilities, a steam room, tennis and pickleball courts, and so much more. You'll be close to the championship Glaze Meadow Golf Course, bike and gear rentals, and a playground for the kids - all the makings of a wonderful trip to Black Butte Ranch at any time of year.

Leave your car in the covered carport and make your way inside this two-level home, where the open and airy living space awaits upstairs. Enjoy a blend of carpeted and tiled floors and large windows that frame the woods. The living room features a pair of leather sofas, a cable TV, and a door that leads outside to the balcony, where you can grill in the summer sunshine and dine with a view of the fragrant pines.

After a day spent enjoying the resort's 18 miles of biking and walking trails, disc golf course, soccer fields, volleyball and basketball courts, and opportunities to cross-country ski, canoe, ride horses, and fly fish, you can return home to soothe your tired muscles in the main bedroom suite's large jetted tub. Then it's time to get started on dinner in the kitchen, offering stainless steel appliances, an island with bar seats, and an adjacent dining table by the window. Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer, free WiFi, and a TV in each of the downstairs bedrooms.

Enjoyed our Stay
Lovely home. Sufficiently updated. Well stocked large kitchen. Quiet street. No ac but it was cool enough while we were there and every room had at least 1 fan, or more. Comfortable beds, lots of extra pillows. Check in and out very easy. Problem with lock system solved with a phone call. Very responsive. Only problem was the hot water didn’t make it through 2 showers. We spaced out our showers and have mentioned this to Vacasa. Very close to the rec center/glaze meadow. Bike paths everywhere, right behind the house. Black butte ranch is a beautiful location and the town of sisters nearby has a lively main street with a lot to offer.

Yes I saw the photos before booking the last available house in Black Butte. That said It wasn’t stocked with platters or serving pieces to have meals for 5 adults. We were lucky NOT to be having meals there. Visited 2 other homes being rented at the same time to see what other rentals offered. Not good valve for the money and very outdated. Main bedroom had the tub & sink inside the bedroom..That bathroom was the only bathroom on the main floor so anyone in the living room and kitchen needed to use that bathroom.

Location
This is a house located in a quiet area of Black Butte close to the main pool at Glaze Meadow. It has no view. There is a small deck on the second floor. The three beds are comfortable. It was clean and management was quick to respond when we needed extra fans because of the unusually hot weather.

Zero Communication - No Frills House
First off, I would like to apologize to the home owners for this review. It is not your fault that the property management company do not care about your renters. If you are looking for a bare bones, no frills house with broken items and no communication or support, this is the house for you. I have proof of text messages and phone calls with zero response or support from the local team. When you call, you get a call center, not a local person. It was record setting heat, over 100, and without A/C, we depended on fans. 2 were non functional, including the ceiling fan on the main (upper) level. The beds are very hard, had a tough time sleeping due to that and heat. With no cooling, you need to have fans. I have been vacationing with my family for over 30 years at BBR and this was the worst of the worst as far as communication and lackluster accommodations. Rent from an owner. One that takes care of their home, leaves their direct number for issues and stocks the home with items that someone in their home would need.

Great house, no heat
The house was great, an excellent size for what we wanted, great location. There was no heat in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom, I did talk to Vacasa about it, I said it didn’t have to be addressed until the next day, but then we never heard from them at all. Again the house was great, service was disappointing.

Beautiful weekend in Black Butte
So many things to do in close proximity! Went skiing at Hoodoo, checked into this place and then went to sisters for dinner. Next day went snow shoeing outside of Sisters and came back and enjoyed a jacuzzi at the Lakeside Lodge. Place was warm and cozy, beds were nice and kitchen had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend this place.

We stayed at the property for my birthday and enjoyed every second of it. Will be coming back with my husband and kids. There was so much you can do at this place. House was wonderfully stocked and is gorgeous!

VRBO Dropped the Ball
The property is as listed. Kitchen floor could use a good cleaning, it is very sticky, perhaps the residue of a cleansing product meant to be rinsed? Check in was a disaster. VRBO never emailed the lock box code for property access as promised. I had to call once we arrived to get the info. We travel often and rarely have problems like this.
