Cozy couples retreat, dog friendly, 1 block to ocean or sound

Quiet street 1 mile from north end of North Topsail, across street from the St. Regis. 1 block or less to public beach access and public pier/dock. Queen bed, spectrum internet and 15-channel cable package, wall-mounted TV that can rotate to watch from bed or sofa. Kitchen has the essentials including coffee maker, toaster and stock pot for your shrimp boil. Outdoor space equal to three rooms -- front and back deck, choose sunshine or shade. Under the house is completely screened in with ceiling fan, new couches for a nap, minifridge and shower with hot and cold water.

In short, the place is small but has everything you need for a cozy couples getaway.

Dog friendly, with 4x8 kennel in the screened in breezeway and 2 crates available for inside. (Pet fee $20/night. Please check box under number of guests when booking.)

St. Regis has top floor restaurant/bar and the open-air Tiki Bar is a short walk and features local characters who will welcome and entertain you!

Check out our other North Topsail property VRBO# 4229885. It's 3-BR, 2 bath, very reasonably priced in the offseason. Great views. No pets though.

Our second stay here was just as cozy and peaceful as the first. (reviewed July 1st) What I can add to that review is to emphasize how communicative the host is. We had a last minute change in plans. The host responded quickly to our request. They were very gracious in working with us . We would definitely book again.

Lovely location for you & your pets!
Luke was excellent at communicating with us about our stay. We even got the privilege of meeting him upon check in. Location is about a 10-15 minute drive to the major stores/restaurants but there are a few local spots sprinkled along the path that were great. The drive was beautiful and worth it. Everything was so thought out, not only for us but for our dogs as well. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and chairs and beach items were included so it was super easy for us. We had neighbors with pets on one side of the home during our stay but we were pleasantly surprised how sound proof our space seemed, we didn’t hear a peep out of them. LOVED the space under the home, we spent a ton of time there and used the outdoor shower with ease. Would seek this space out if we return to the area in the future!

We loved everything about our stay. The house is perfect. Close to everything. We love visiting the 4x4 orv access and we were so close to that. Public dock behind fire station was a great spot to fish as well. Will definitely be back again.

Amazing getaway
This little gem was amazing for a small family beach trip. With the intercoastal on one side and the beach on the other it was perfect for water lovers. The screened in downstairs was awesome for relaxing before bed. Love the hospitality and communication with the owner. Will definitely come again.

Perfect cozy stay
The place was perfect for two people and a dog! The downstairs screen was amazing to hangout in after a day at the beach. The walk to the beach was super short and easy! My dog loved the stay as well! I would definitely book again!

The best spot to scoot away for a couple nights to take our dog to the beach for the first time. The property was very clean, the lower screened in area was so nice. We used the outdoor shower mainly just our preference. Check in was very easy. The mattress is AMAZING, we made multiple comments about trying to figured out what it was to replace ours at home. Cannot recommend enough, looking forward visiting again. Thank You!

Cozy home. Close to attractions.
This home is exactly as described, but better. The property is well maintained and clean. The hosts have made improvements to the home, which make it a truly special place. My favorite is the screened in living area. As far as amenities, it's all there. You only need to bring your food to cook. The ocean, the sound, restaurants, and a fishing pier were all within walking distance.. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Everything that is listed was true. They were also very nice and there if you have any questions while you’re on your stay. The downstairs screened in area was my favorite and how close you are to the beach! Perfect spot and getaway in my opinion. We appreciate the host and glad we chose this one! We didn’t realize how close this place was to the beach and the sound. We walked to both with our dogs who loved it! The stand out was the outdoor area below the house. It was great being outside not having to worry about the dogs running away and being screened in from bugs. Outdoor shower was awesome to have too. This place has everything you need!

Best beach house so far
I stay in a lot of different places on different islands around North Carolina. This place was awesome. It has everything you need and the washer and dryer is very convenient so you don’t have to pack a lot of stuff. The downstairs is nice for game night. I brought my dog and he loved the beach. My nine-year-old had a lot of fun. The beach is close. I will return next year and book for even longer.

Great Stay
We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and had all the amenities we needed (including a crate for the dog!). It was a super convenient walk to the ocean and a quiet neighborhood. We particularly appreciated the screened-in porch area underneath the home, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather without getting eaten up by the bugs. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks again for the great place to stay and for allowing dogs.
