Cozy Cabin Retreat w/ Private Hot Tub NEAR SLOPES

Entire Modern Cabin walking distance to the slopes that has a PRIVATE hot tub! 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 1,800sqft, and in-house laundry that can sleep 12! This spacious single family home is unique for the mountain and PERFECT for friends/family. Enjoy the hot tub that seats 6, AC & Heat, flat-screen smart TVs, patio/balcony to enjoy the views, fireplace, and a soaker tub to relax after a long day skiing/biking. SUPER peaceful location and walking distance to the Soaring Eagle lift.

1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, 2 bunk beds, and a sofa bed to sleep 12 comfortably! One of the FEW single family homes on the mountain in Snowshoe! Enjoy the peace and quiet at Timbers OR you can walk to the Soaring Eagle lift! This home contains AC for the warmer months and heating for the cooler months.

Front door has an electronic key pad for your own private entry.

I am available by text, email, or phone during your stay. We do have a local maintenance man if there are any issues during your stay.

The private Timbers neighborhood is super unique to Snowshoe! 10 Single Family homes that are away from the craziness of the mountain, but still close enough to walk to the Soaring Eagle lift or take the free shuttle to the village.

2 parking spaces are included in the driveways. Additional cars can be parked at the overflow parking at the Top of the World parking lot. The free shuttle visits Timbers or you can walk to the Soaring Eagle lift.

Free WiFi and long-distance calling, 65 inch HD Smart TV in the living room that includes that has an Apple TV is you like streaming from your Apple products. Washer and dryer inside the unit to wash your clothes. This unit is a true retreat, whether you are hitting the snowy slopes or the muddy bike trails. Now please note, there is an additional fee of $50 per person per night if a guest is not reported within the reservation. Please make sure you report all guests within your reservation for your stay. Also note, the owner will be held harmless in the event of inclement weather or property amenities not working as they both may not always work in our favor and cannot be controlled. Thank you!

A wonderful ski weekend getaway!
This was the perfect winter escape for a families looking to ski. Excellent location with easy access to Snowshoe village and the various mountains for tubing and skiing. The house was wonderful - exceptionally clean and family friendly. We will certainly be back!

The Place We'll Return To
These cabins are fantastic, a stone's throw from the Eagle Swoop lift at the Top of the World. There's also a shuttle stop at the entrance to the complex making it convenient to get to other parts of the mountain. We love the privacy of a stand alone unit with parking right in front. The master bedroom and kitchen/living areas are particularly spacious, nice for all of your coolers and gear. We prepared all of our meals and the kitchen is well stocked for that with a large dining table that everyone fit around comfortably. The decks and hot tub are also a big plus. Communication with the owner was positive, they were very responsive and have helpful tips to share. We'll definitely come back here.

Perfect Cabin Getaway
The property had everything we needed! It was in a great location just down the street from Top of the World, and there was a bus stop right at the end of the street which was very convenient. I was concerned that with only 1800 sqft it might be too small, but with a family of 10 it was just right, and everyone had their own space. We stayed in and cooked all but 2 meals for a full week, and the kitchen had everything we needed for appliances and cookware. Austin the host was very easy to communicate with and gave a lot of additional insight about the area and the house to make it the perfect vacation! Highly recommend for your family and/or friends!

Wonderful home, Great Location!
We had a wonderful stay at this home! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The bedrooms accommodated our family and dogs well. The living area and kitchen were spacious and well equipped. There was a nice heated entry when coming into the cabin to unload and store all our ski equipment. The location was great and just a short walk to the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about our stay. Property is awesome and was clean. Directions for everything were clear. Austin is super responsive and easy to get ahold of. Would definitely book again if we were going to be back in the area.

Celebration of Life Family Gathering
The property is very roomy but I was charged an extra $50 dollars for the ninth person when the property sleeps 10 in actual beds (bedrooms) ?? If you plan to use the Gas Grill take your own Grill Cleaning Supplies (Grill Scraper etc) I spent an hour cleaning it before using it! Over all we enjoyed our stay and I would consider booking the property in the future.

Perfect Ski House
Plenty of space for two families with teen age kids. The house was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked as we brought food and prepared all meals in the house. Austin is a very responsive host and immediately assisted when we inadvertently disconnected the WiFi (our mistake). Location is perfect, you could easily walk to Top of the World and ski from there. Highly recommend, we will stay again!

Water damage / mold…
Booked a stay w/ my four younger kids and wife. The property was a lot more beat up than pictures would lead you to believe. Additionally, I found substantial water damage and mold by the windows of the master bedroom. So bad that we packed up and left the first night. I alerted Austin and he said that he’d have someone check in on the place. Never heard from him again.

1st annual back to school mtb vacation
We definitely enjoyed this beautiful cabin. There were plenty of amenities that made it feel like home. Our kids enjoyed all the games and hot tub. Location was convenient to all of the resort, everything was in walking or riding distance. They host thought of most things to keep our trip worry free, to include laundry pods! Motorcycle Getaway
This property was perfect for our motorcycle getaway. The property was very clean and well maintained. There were 5 of us and the common area and deck were great after a days ride. The West Virginia mountains are beautiful and the roads were very nice. Austin was great, gave us insight and was very attentive to our questions. I’m a skier also, and the nearest lift was walkable and there was a skier pick up site a couple doors down. Would definitely stay here again.

We went to Snowshoe to ride the mountain bike park and we also went to the lake. We had a blast along with the kids! Austin’s place was just perfect. Great location, very clean and all the amenities you need! We would definitely stay again next time we return!

Unprofessionally equipped and overpriced
Master bedroom duvet cover was very dirty and quite obviously not switched out between renters. This host allows dogs, for which we were grateful, and this bed definitely had a dog sleeping in it and was not washed. The master bed had a mattress topper that had slid so far off the bed it was touching the floor. When brought to hosts attention, things do happen and he is not around to check, he sent his “head cleaning person” out the next day to evaluate. I pointed out the dirtiness and not only did she agree, but also explained this particular owner uses his own linens so the shape they were in was out of her control. After which, the host said there was no way they were left dirty. The bathroom floors had not been washed and every bath mat was stained. There were 8 bath towels left for 8 guests, each not much bigger than hand towels. The kitchen cabinets were a mess with mismatched cooking supplies. The WiFi was not working, the only place on the entire mountain that was down. We are believers you get what you pay for. Had we not booked a VRBO on the cost higher end, we would not have had the same level of disappointment, although clean linens should be expected at any price point. We left after 2 nights of our 5 night stay after it became clear Austin was not going to be of any help.

On top of the Mountain
We enjoyed our stay. Place was very clean and loved the front porch. We had a few issues during our stay. The WI-FI was out for 3 days during our stay although we realize this is beyond the property managers control. We also had the water filter in the refrigerator leak and it completely flooded the refrigerator so we had to clean up all the water and remove our food. It happened a 2nd time so we contacted the owner and he asked us to turn off the water. Lastly the fireplace didn’t work. Other than that we loved our stay and would recommend this property if you were looking to get away and get some needed R&R. The views were spectacular.

Family Ski Trip with the dogs
Needed a dog friendly place this year having two small doge with us. Timbers was a pleasant surprise; better than the pictures. Clean, bright, modern but rustic cabin with good views for a sunset. Not really walkable to the Village but shuttle stop is 100' away and was never a wait. Lift is very close, only a short hike. We usually stay in the Village, but this was a nice change to be able to retire to a quieter place. We would rent again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was great for my husband, myself, and 2 friend couples! We stayed during an ice storm when ski conditions were not desirable. However, we had a great weekend get away at the cabin!
