Welcome to our Quaint Apartment, located in the desirable Port Dalhousie neighborhood! It is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience during your stay. We are ideally situated in the heart of the "Island" and a short walk where you'll find a wonderful strip with cafes, restaurants, and shops to explore. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a place to relax and a cup of coffee.

Welcome to our well-designed 1 bedroom apartment located in a historic building that dates back to 1872. As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the beautiful character hardwood floors that exude warmth and give this flat a cozy and inviting feel.

The apartment has been updated with modern amenities to give it a European style living vibe, while still maintaining its unique and historic charm. You'll appreciate the thoughtful design and attention to detail that has gone into creating a comfortable and stylish living space.

The apartment features a spacious and bright living room with plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and everything you need to cook up a delicious meal. The bedroom is cozy and comfortable, with a comfortable bed that guarantees a good night's sleep.

We offer 24-hour check-in with self-entry for your convenience. When you arrive, you'll notice that the exterior door has the address "10 Christie" on it. Please note that our property has two addresses as it's situated on a corner lot.

Parking is available directly out front of the exterior door, and these spaces are 24-hour free city parking. You won't have to worry about finding a parking spot, and you can rest easy knowing that your car is safe and secure.

Port Dalhousie is a charming neighbourhood located in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is situated at the north end of the city, along the shores of Lake Ontario. The neighbourhood is known for its historic charm, beautiful scenery, and vibrant community.

One of the main attractions in Port Dalhousie is the Port Dalhousie Pier Marina, which is home to a variety of boats and yachts. The marina is surrounded by a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Nearby, you will also find Lakeside Park, a beautiful park with a beach, playground, and picnic area.

Another notable feature of the Port Dalhousie neighbourhood is the Port Dalhousie Carousel, a historic carousel that dates back to 1905. The carousel is located in Lakeside Park and is a popular attraction for children and adults alike.

Martindale Pond is a beautiful body of water located just south of lake Ontario. It is a popular spot for fishing and bird watching, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including ducks, geese, and swans. HOUSE RULES:
1. "There is no place like home." That is my rule, treat the property like your home and take care of the place. Suck the life out of every day. Enjoy yourself, you are on vacation!
2. NO SMOKING inside the house.
3. PETS are welcome. We do have a Pet fee. Please inquire.
4. Garbage Management: You are responsible for returning the property in the same clean condition as received at time of check-in. Before check-out, guest/guests are required to remove all bags of garbage from the premises. Failure to do so may result in higher-than-normal cleaning fees which guest/guests will be responsible for.
5. No Discounts.
6. Disturbances: No loud noise after 11 p.m. The city of St. Catharines enforces this by-law strictly. A complaint may result in arrival of police and fines. We are aware we are a multi unit building and sounds, noises and disturbances can happen during your stay.
7.Timing - Please respect the check-in & check-out times. Reach out if amendments are required to see if they can be met.
8. Online check- in form, guest verification and rental agreement to be signed before access codes are sent out.
9. Length of stay: For stays longer than 14 days, a mandatory mid-stay cleaning will be scheduled to ensure the property is well-maintained and comfortable for the duration of your visit. This service helps us uphold high standards of cleanliness and provides a fresh environment for an extended stay.

Quartier calme et paisible
Très bon emplacement pour visiter les vignobles et a 10 minutes de marche de la plage et des restos. L’apparte est tres propre, chaleureuse et est au gout du jour. Elle est plus grande que ce qu’on pensait. Lors des échanges avec l’hôte, la communication a été rapide et très cordiale. Ce fut une belle expérience!

The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed for our five day stay. The king size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We could walk around the scenic old town of Port Dalhousie as well as restaurants and shops. Perfect little spot.

Property was average to above average. Would have had no complaints however it was not cleaned very well at all. There will black hairs throughout the entire apartment especially in the bathroom. There were also crumbs on the floor in multiple rooms. The host asks to take your shoes off in the property which just felt gross considering it was not clean. Host did offer a charcuterie board for the inconvenience of not being clean, really it would have been much more helpful to come and clean the floors while we were out.

Overall great stay
Super cute and cozy house to stay at. We were on the second floor in room 1. Very modern and updated with a very cozy couch for relaxing and winding down at the end of the night and very comfortable bed. Justin communicated great on the check in and checkout process and was always available for any questions. We also loved the port Dalhousie area with all of the different options for breakfast, dinner, pastries/donuts and yummy coffee all within walking distance from the house. Thanks so much for everything! We will definitely be back.

Well designed and perfect location
We were so happy at 10 Christie #1 and look forward to returning in future. The layout of the suite is perfect for 2 people and the location is close to beaches, walks, coffee shops and restaurants. It is a lovely neighborhood and a clean, bright and well designed suite.

We flew into Hamilton …. Two sisters, one from Halifax and the other from Calgary. We ventured to Port Dalhousie where we had a very relaxing week at Justin’s. The attention to detail is lovely. The apartment gave us the calm and tranquility of a spa retreat. So much to see and do within a 20 to 30 minute drive.

Niagara falls trip
Pros: It was very clean. The kitchen had all the equipment to prepare meals. It didn't have a microwave but that was on me I didn't specifically check for it in the listing. The location was 1 1/2 blocks away from Lake Ontario where there was a bench to sit and enjoy the lake. Justin was quick to answer questions and his book of information was great. I would suggest you put addresses on all the locations. We had difficulties the first night when the internet was down. Cons: The house is right on main street which was very busy and noisy. There was a noise machine but it wasn't very effective. There was construction of a new house right outside the bedroom window where work started at 7:30 so sleeping in did not happen. I would have appreciated a heads up. We recycle at home but we found their recycling very complicated. Justin did give us additional instructions. One other suggestion would be to talk with your linen provider.
