Kindly be informed that there is a supplemental fee of $50 per night for each guest exceeding two. Accuracy in listing the total number of guests at the time of booking is crucial to avoid additional charges. If there are any discrepancies, you will be required to settle the additional fee prior to check-in. We appreciate your comprehension and cooperation on this matter.
Insects are present on the island and the additional rain this year has created more presence of gnats and other pests. With your help of keeping the doors shut, we try our best to minimize their presence inside the unit by using pest control services. You may also experience the impact of the Saharan dust in the units from time to time. Services are performed the beginning of even months. These services cannot be declined by guests and you will need to plan accordingly. If the services are declined, you may be subject to the financial cost of rescheduling.
The AC units are window units and available in the kitchen and one bedroom.

If you are new to visiting the island, the island experiences power outages and Wi-Fi outages periodically with no estimated resolution time.
The property has standard water heaters and you will need to wait a moment for hot water.
We want to let you know that, at the moment, the tap water in our area may not meet the recommended standards for drinking. As a precaution, we suggest refraining from using it for consumption. To ensure your well-being, we recommend opting for bottled water, readily available at local stores. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize your health and comfort.
The trash in St. John is collected from the many disposal sites (bin sites) located strategically around St. John for residents and visitors to dispose of their household waste. To reinforce adherence to the house rule requiring guests to deposit their trash at the community collection site, a $500 fee will be imposed for the collection and disposal of any left-behind trash.

We want to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To maintain a high standard of service for all our guests, we kindly ask that you observe the following house rules. Please note that the fees listed below only apply to violations and are separate from any pre-arranged agreements for early check-in or late check-out:
Damaged Towels: $200
Unauthorized Early Check-in (Before 3 PM): $200 per hour
Unauthorized Late Check-out (After 11 AM): $200 per hour
Smoking (including cigarettes or vaping): $1,000
Undisclosed Guests: $250 per guest per night
Undisclosed Pet: $500 per night, per pet
Please be aware that if you have already arranged and paid for early check-in or late check-out, you are not subject to the above fees. These charges only apply if check-in or check-out times are not pre-arranged.

The water provided is rainwater and has been filtered, but it is not advised to drink it. Fortunately, there is a convenience store only 2 minutes away where you can easily purchase mineral water.

Most is newly updated. Comfortable bed. Small living area is nice. Can't drink the tap water. The shower pan/where one stands is all scuffed & beaten up. Walking to restaurants at night can be harrowing down to the main intersection as cars can't always see you. Bring reflective wear. Reserving & check in were the worst parts. We received a fraud alert when we put in our credit card. David, the owner, told us the payment didn't go through. The name of his business is Cash Flow Street, which is suspicious. We talked to our CC company & had to close that CC. We confirmed with owner this was the name of his business. We used a diff CC. Got a fraud alert again. I had to call the CC co. a couple times to ensure the paymt would go through. After that, I asked David a question via the VRBO contact form and called his number listed on the site but he wouldn't respond. Check in: I received an email saying there was an error in sending us the instructions. After sending my email & cell via the app and replying to their email, no response. Turns out Kelli is the manager but her name & no. are nowhere on their VRBO site. She claimed it was her number. It wasn't. It was only David's no. She said I put too many numbers for my cell in the reservations (& giggled saying, then it was my fault) & that's why I didn't get the instructions. They had my email though & I resent my cell as I said above. I was on phone with VRBO for 1.5 hrs trying to get instructions. We will never stay here again.
