Prime Loft of Main Street

Historic loft centrally located along the St. Charles riverfront, on the north end of Main Street and just south of Frenchtown. Enjoy Frontier Park, shops, restaurants, and night scene - all within walking distance.

The newly renovated 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom apartment can easily accommodate groups of six. The completely updated kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher. Convenient in-house washer and dryer available for extended stays

Note to guest:
1) No visitors allowed unless discussed with owner.

2) $15 extra guest fee after 4 guests

3) Air conditioner minimum temperature is 72 Fahrenheit. All units have new air conditioners. But the red brick walls have no insulation and during the hot weather if the air conditioner is pushed too hard, it will create blocks of ice inside it then quit working until the ice melts. This problem only happens if temperatures are set below 70 F, so we limit it to 72 F.

4) We are above a coffee shop, so there is potential for noise.

Cute place in a fun neighborhood
Loved shopping the old historic street with fun shops and farmer’s market on Saturday morning. Lots of helpful touches, like blackout curtains to the street. It was stated that there was street noise from the coffee shop but it lasted til about midnight on Friday. Burned out light bulbs in main level bathroom made it hard for 5 adults to get ready for a wedding. So glad there was a second bathroom with adequate lighting. Reading lights in bedroom could not be used because cords were missing. No one had the type of cord. Kitchen well stocked. Good use of space.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very nice easy location to walk to everything. We did not know the coffee shop below would be open past midnight so it was a little disturbing to walk back after the bars to find people sitting in front of the door. Luckily the noise didn’t bother us!

21 stairs to the room was a bit towering for 65+ adult. There was no hot water in the kitchen after letting it run for several minutes. Street noise on Friday and Saturday nights was a bit loud. However, the cleanliness and amenities were perfect.

Very nice loft
A lot of steep stairs to climb. Very noisy coffee shop below, it might as well be a nightclub. Comfortable accommodations. Walking distance to all things in the historic district. I would recommended to anyone physically fit.

Perfect Location
We were in town for a wedding at The Foundry. This unit was right across the street! We were also close to several restaurants, bars and shopping! The coffee shop below the unit was amazing! Street noise could be heard but it didn’t really bother us. Also, we would have preferred to have access to the thermostat. The room upstairs got warm at night as the thermostat increased to 77°. Despite that, we loved our stay and we can’t wait to come back!

This property is in a great location on beautiful Main St. It also is next to a coffee shop. The bed in the master bedroom was smaller than we expected but that wouldn't stop us from staying here again. Gloria responded quickly to all our communications and was a great host!

Wonderful location and accommodations!
We rented this loft for a wedding in St. Charles, and the location was perfect! Lots of good restaurants and shops all within walking distance. It's right above a coffee shop that stays open late on the weekends, so you can expect some late night noise. There is a steep staircase to get to the loft and a low sofa, so be aware of that with older visitors or those with mobility issues. The property was just as described, clean and so cute. The hosts were wonderful to work with and very quick to respond to all questions or requests! We would stay here again!

Darling loft, perfect location
I recently had the pleasure of staying in this darling loft and couldn't be happier with my experience. Only issue is none of the blinds were able to adjust so the street lights shining in and early sunrise was hard to avoid. I may have missed it, but a lot of steps to get up to the loft from the street.
