WELCOME TO SERENITY BY THE BAY

Located on the North Shore, adjacent to world famous Cavendish, the National Park and Anne of Green Gables. This spacious private waterfront 3 bedroom air conditioned/heated property boasts an open concept kitchen, living room and dining room, complete with two full baths. Situated in the very popular Seawood Estates, offering year round access/use, and mere minutes to 4 popular Island golf courses, watercraft rentals, seasonal/year round restaurants and numerous other amenities.

Bedrooms have a king, queen and double bed accommodating up to 6 people. Features include 3 decks, one of which is a 430 sq. ft. two tiered deck outfitted with a dining patio table, large umbrella and BBQ overlooking New London Bay.

The property is surrounded by trees making for a private retreat yet is only a few steps to the shores of New London Bay. Watch the oyster fisherman collect their catch or sit on the deck or shore in front of the cottage offering views of the sand dunes of the Cavendish National Park. Miscellaneous watercraft available for rent in the area. Conveniently located within a 30 minute drive to/from Charlottetown, Summerside or the Confederation Bridge.

A fully stocked kitchen with a Jenn Air stove, fridge, dishwasher and outdoor BBQ accommodates meals at home. The cottage comes complete with a heat pump for air conditioning/heating, furnace, laundry, dishwasher, high speed internet, smart tv with cable and a propane fireplace. There is also a red stone fire pit to build campfires at night. The adjacent stair access to the shore allows easy access to the water.

We absolutely loved the property and ease of use. Few pictures missing, scuff marks on walls etc that we reported. The facility is amazing apart from the beds, so uncomfortable and not a lot of padding, especially in the Master. We would book again but only if the beds are changed. Everything else was wonderful.

Home away from home
As soon as we walked in the door, this place felt like home. It was beautifully decorated, had many seating areas and was stocked with everything we needed. Our daughter loved having toys to play with and things to draw and colour on. It was great to have beach gear provided as those things can take up a lot of space when packing your car, so we had extra space to bring other things we wanted. The beach was a fun place for our daughter to explore and we found all kinds of treasures. Its nice and shallow for a good distance so she enjoyed splashing around and being able to see little fish and the odd jellyfish. There were also a couple of beautiful herons that hung around there, as well as some cute bunnies that made an appearance a couple of times. The location was perfect. It was so peaceful and serene and only a quick drive to Cavendish and North Rustico. I would stay at this place again and again and again. It was perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about this property or the management. The home was beautiful and exactly as advertised. It is right on the water and has amazing views of the bay. The manager was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. It had great access to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent property for families
This is a great place for a family stay. Secluded quiet area yet close to amenities (in season). Just a few minor issues: we stayed early October and it got a bit chilly at night. The thermostats in the house didn’t do anything. After we enquired, we were told that the heat pump was on and we were given instructions on how to turn the furnace on. That didn’t do anything, and we were leaving within a few days, so after some back and forth with the property manager, it just stayed a bit cool at night so our baby slept with us. The only other complaint we have is that the washing machine had kind of a funky smell. We think the drum needs a good cleaning. Having said these things, we would not hesitate to book again if we were in the area.

We had such a great visit at this beautiful property. It was clean and perfectly equipped for an almost two-year-old, with a brand new high chair and pack and play with several sets of clean sheets. The open floor plan of the house was really conducive to her exploring, and she loved greeting the sea out the beautiful tall windows each morning. The bedrooms were perfect for my parents, me and my husband, and a little one. Great location for visiting Cavendish, Park Corner, and Dalvay, just a half hour from the Charlottetown airport. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this cute and cozy waterfront cottage. It was nicely stocked with kitchen necessities, blankets, beach equipment, etc. and was very clean. The location was ideal for visiting Anne of Green Gables, beaches and the beautiful scenery of the area. Thank you for sharing your island home.

Cottage was gorgeous and spotless. Unfortunately it rained and was cold everyday we were here. Great location to many sites. Highly recommend. Really wished we could have enjoyed the large deck but weather did not co-operate.

We had a great time here. The house was even bigger than we expected and had fantastic views of the bay. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely suggest staying here if you are looking to be on the North side of the island.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was spacious, very comfortable and just like the pictures! It had everything we needed in order to prepare some meals. We made good use of beach chairs and towels….a small cooler would have come in handy on beach days. The location was great and very close to beautiful beaches and other local sights. We even got to attend a ceilidh just down the road. We highly recommend this property!

Waterfront cottage a short drive from Cavendish Beach. Living room/kitchen/dining room area air conditioned. Spacious living room and dining room, a good place for family to gather and relax. Fantastic BBQ and deck area. Worth getting up early for the sunrise! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful experience
This was a great house in a great location. We were six people in total and there was more than enough space for everyone to live (and relax) comfortably. The house was clean, stocked with useful everyday items - including beach chairs - and close to beautiful beaches and local attractions. Additionally, our hosts were responsive, cordial, and easy to work with. We loved waking up to views of the water and walking along the red rock shoreline. We would absolutely stay here again!
