Roßweid Huette

In a quiet & beautiful panoramic location is the cozy Roßweidhütte with fenced garden adjacent to the listed farm from the 17th century of the warm landlords. From a former "Zuhäusl", which was used as a stable for sheep, the landlords have converted this into a cozy cottage with a special flair. Not far away is the popular Wolfsklamm gorge and the pilgrimage site & rock monastery of St. Georgenberg. Chickens, rabbits, goats & horses directly at and next to the hut round off the vacation as well as recreation factor.

Facilities:
This cozy cottage offers space for 4 people and was lovingly renovated by the landlords to furnish to preserve the original charm as best as possible. The living- dining- kitchen offers every comfort for a pleasant stay. A large flatscreen as well as a radio provide entertainment and the couch with chair for cozy get-togethers. The kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired, the adjacent dining table with benches is ideal to enjoy the delicious food together. A wood stove and infrared panels provide the ideal room temperature. 2 cozy beds are located under the roof which are accessible via a ladder. The bedroom has a cozy double bed (200 x 180 cm) which is accessible via 2 sliding doors. Additional high windows in south-east orientation provide additional natural light.
In the fenced garden numerous wonderful seating areas are waiting for you. At the house wall is an old wooden bench ideal to soak up the sun and enjoy the view. A little further, a cozy seating area with benches and table as well as a canopy has been set up. Here you can enjoy your home-cooked meals in the open air. For the evening there is a great fireplace with a grill and tree trunks that serve as chairs. There you can not only enjoy delicacies from the fire to perfection, but also enjoy the romantic atmosphere around the campfire at dusk as well as in the evening.

Location:
After a 4.7 km private road you will arrive at the farm of the landlords in Stans. With a little luck, the horses and donkeys are already waiting for you there. Right next to the farm is the Roßweidhütte and offers numerous hikes directly from the hut. Particularly recommended is the Wolfsklamm gorge and the pilgrimage site of St. Georgenberg, both of which can be easily reached in 20 minutes on foot. At the pilgrimage inn St. Georgenberg it is also excellent to dine and the panorama there will inspire you. The Stans swimming pool is only 4.5 minutes away and guarantees a great day in the outdoor pool. In winter there is the small Burglift Stans in 4.5 km, this is perfect for beginners and inexperienced skiers. The next biggest skiing area "Kellerjoch" is in 18,8 km and is located at the Kellerjoch. In addition to skiing, here you can also take the lift to the Hecherhaus and from there start the 4 km long and fun downhill run with the toboggan.
