*Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines.
*We do not allow parties of any kind. No groups under the age of 25 allowed. Min age to rent any property is 25. If you, the credit card holder- person signing the contract- and person responsible for the reservation, rents this house and are not 25, we will cancel the booking and you will not get a refund, no exceptions, you MUST be 25 or older.
*You are only allowed 12 persons at any time at the house. This includes any diners or gatherings you may have.
*Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm to 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood.
* Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
*Parking: 10 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are in the rental house.
*Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow.

This Grand Lodge will be a house to remember! Set in an amazing mountain area, 7.4 acre lot, sleeping for 12 in beds, parking for 10 cars, huge game room with a bar, two living areas, ping-pong, a pool table, and a private hot tub, there is room for everyone!

Surrounded by mountains, this 6BR/4.5BA retreat sits on 7.4 lovely acres overlooking a meadow. Enjoy abundant deck space and a private hot tub outside, or spend time together in the huge Great Room and game room.

With 4,421 square feet of completely remodeled living space, this massive home has two attached suites with private outdoor entrances. Interior highlights include two gas fireplaces, high ceilings, beautiful brickwork, natural stone flooring, and 150-year-old barn wood floors comprised of 10 species of wood.

The house is in a great location midway up Kingsbury Grade, your home is less than 3 miles from the Stagecoach chairlift at Heavenly, beaches on the Nevada side of Tahoe, and vibrant casino nightlife.

LIVING AREA

Boasting 2,000 square feet, the Great Room features a pool table and huge 85” Roku TV. Upstairs, a game room includes a poker table, ping-pong, and another 75” Roku TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

The chef’s kitchen is equipped with a five-burner gas range and double ovens. Handy extras include an espresso/cappuccino machine, blender, and separate wine fridge. The natural log table seats 12 when the bench seat is used, while the counter seats four.

BED & BATH
The master suite is furnished with a Cal king bed, queen bed, and smart TV. The en-suite bathroom has a huge walk-in shower. Two more master suites each feature a bathroom with a walk-in shower. One has a king bed, while the other has a queen. A fourth bedroom holds a queen and an XL twin bed; two more bedrooms each offer a twin-over-full bunk bed. A downstairs guest bathroom has a walk-in shower, while a convenient half bath is next to the game room upstairs.

Amazing openness!
The openness of the kitchen, dining area & living room is so inviting & really brings everyone together! The upstairs gaming as well. This cabin is great for accomodating big groups - allowed each of our couples/family/individual traveler to have their own room!

Great place
Overall it is a wonderful place. Great location minutes from the stagecoach lift. it was a very roomy place for 3 families. There where a couple of issues like excessive trash in the garage (possible because of the holidays) and the shower did not drain well. I would recommend getting some better pillows.

Good Vacation with a few minor issues
The property was great but there were a few minor issues. 1. When we arrived at the location all of the burners were on in the kitchen. That seemed odd. 2. There was only one pot holder to remove hot pans from the oven and it had a hole in it so I burned my hand several times trying to remove things from the oven 3. The heat was set too hot and there were not instructions or easy way to figure out how to turn the heat down. Sleeping was uncomofortable becaues it was too hot. 4. The home did not have any trash bags available. I would have expected a stock of bags.

The location was perfect. So close to all the activities we wanted to do; casinos, downtown, beach. The house layout was nice where there was plenty of room for a large group. The games were a big hit with kids and kept them occupied. I would stay there again.

Had an amazing few days vacation for 4th of July with friends and family. Everything about the property was perfect. Great location, facilities and so much to enjoy at the property. Beautiful place to just be able to relax and unwind with friends. Only downside being no air conditioning as it was a very hot few days.

Very good group house
Great space for our 2 families with 4 parents, 4 grown kids, 3 significant others. Plenty of privacy, very convenient to Heavenly but also a doable drive to other mountains. Large dining room, really nice separate game room so plenty of places where some could make noise and others could work, rest, or otherwise have quiet. Heated garage was great for ski, boot storage. Management company was very responsive, but unfortunately for us - a group that loves to cook big meals - a few things didn't work and couldn't be fixed while we were there (parts on order), such as one of the two ovens, 2 of the 5 stove tops; and the ignitor was broken so we had to go buy a lighter. Also odd that the coffee maker for a large house was so small and no toaster or toaster oven. TV/music speakers looked great but didn't work. So the place could have been so much better. In the end, we really enjoyed it but think some price accommodation would have been appropriate. With a few upgrades on relatively inexpensive things, if they had provided a few staples, and if all had been in working order this would have been one of the best places we've stayed for a family ski trip. Even with those problems, it was still quite enjoyable.

Property was a great location, clean, and in good shape. A couple burners and oven had parts on order but didn’t inconvenience us much at all. Be sure to bring toiletries like soap and shampoo. Overall a very nice house and we’d use it again.

Great Location, Mostly Great Setup
We stayed in this house when the blizzard came in and were taken care of as it relates to snow removal, which was a god send. The property manager was also very responsive to questions. The house itself was pretty spot on other than some minor things that should be fixed (surround sound downstairs wouldn't work, some broken drawers in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms, and some other small things). The only other surprise is there is no shampoo/soap for the bathrooms (never had that happen in a rental before) and there are very minimal things for cooking/leftovers - e.g., only salt and pepper, no oil or foil or tupperware with tops. To the property management's defense, they did list what was there and those things aren't on there, but having stayed at dozens of rental properties, I've never had to buy all (or even most) of those things. Not sure if this is more on the owner or management company, but calling it out for others so you can bring these things to the house. Other than that, we had an amazing time!

After Christmas family ski trip to Tahoe
The home itself was great! Very well stocked, great location, interesting and rustic decor with comfortable beds and plenty of amenities to enjoy such as pool table, ping pong table, hot tub, large TV’s, games and books. Lots of countertops, seating, and enough space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. This may not affect other families, but for our family it was very disappointing to have issues in the kitchen. We enjoy cooking, and each meal was assigned a couple to cook/bake. Only 3 of the 5 or 6 burners worked, and only 1 of the two ovens worked. The large surround sound speaker didn’t work, and the Roku remote batteries were dead. We called on night one to please have these items worked on the next day, and the only thing that got fixed was the remote. Cooking/baking took us much longer to cook for 12 of us. If these things get repaired, I recommend this home.

Beyond expectations
We stayed at the Grand Lake Tahoe Lodge for a long weekend and we had an unbelievably great stay. Like other reviews have stated, the place is huge and there's plenty to explore on the property. We did a mini hike to the top of the rocks above the house, lounged on the patio, and attempted to play every game in the house. It seems most of the criticisms pointed out in previous reviews have been addressed. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises!

Phenomenal location! Could use a bit more attention to detail and ease up on the rules. The location is top rate, pretty much can Uber to any food or beach spot nearby outside of any wilderness you are driving to. Also, it’s offset undisturbed by neighbors with plenty of driveway parking. Now the rules are pretty strict like not congregating outside after 9pm. Aren’t you supposed to enjoy nature? To the check in process on their proprietary app that involves adding everyone’s name and email. Additionally there could be some more attention paid to making sure the little things are right. As in don’t have a leaky coffee pot (saw on a previous review). Clean the towels and sheets a bit more. Not huge but takes away from what could be an outstanding rental. The great room you walk into is fabulous for big groups. Plenty of space to gather, cook, play pool and watch tv. All in all a solid rental for Lake Tahoe with a great location.
