Pet-Friendly Home + Pool, Walk to Warana Beach

Summary:
The Benalla House is ideal for group accommodation; family holidays, corporate weekends and team retreats. Pick up some bodyboards and head to Warana Beach or grab the bikes for a trip down to Point Cartwright. Come back for a BBQ lunch, swim and chill out in the backyard. With 4 bedrooms between the main house and the separate self contained granny flat, there is enough space for everyone (including furry friends) to enjoy quiet time or come together.

The Space:
This spacious home is walking distance to the beach with plenty of beds and parking. It has large living areas, plenty of space to spread out, a pool, back yard space to play & enjoy games together, a fully equipped kitchen for easy cooking and the outdoor area has a BBQ, and comfortable dining table with seating for 8 that overlooks the pool and backyard area. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house sleeping a total of 7 guests (Master: 1 Queen bedroom, Bed 2: 2 x singles, Bed 3: 1double/single bunk) and 1 bathroom.

When staying with 8-9 guests we open the granny flat for the additional 2 guests. This space features a plush Queen sized bed with ensuite bathroom. It's own living and kitchen.

The Granny flat also has a separate kitchen, living room with TV and sofa, dining table for 4 and an extra washing machine.

Bedroom 1:
A plush Queen sized bed with built-in wardrobe and a ceiling fan

Bedroom 2:
2 plush single beds with built-in wardrobes and ceiling fan

1 bunk bed (single on top and double on the bottom), built-in wardrobes, and a ceiling fan



The house is 100m to Warana Surf Beach, 500m to shops and cafes. It's walking distance to Kawana Shopping world. There is also a hospital, shopping centre, library, cinema and skateparks close by.
- Walking distance to B Fresh cafe/deli, a newsagent, butcher, bakery, liquor store & takeaway food options.
- Maroochydore airport is a 15 minute drive
- Brisbane airport is a 60 minute drive
- Australia Zoo is a 25 minute drive
- Kawana Shopping World and Cinema is a 5 minute drive
- Large new Sunshine Coast University hospital is a 5 minute drive
- Mooloolaba/ Underwater World (Sea Life) is a 10 minute drive

Guest Access:
You will only have access to the granny flat if you are booking for 8 or more guests. If your booking is for 7 people or less, the granny flat will be locked off.

Alternatively if your booking is for 2 people, you can choose between the main house and the granny flat.

Getting Around:
Airport shuttles can get you here from both Brisbane and Maroochydore. It is possible to get around on the local buses and use coach tours but the immediate area is best explored on foot and it would be preferable to have a car to travel further afield.
Once you are here, you can simply walk to many local attractions. There is a coastal track where you can walk or ride all the way up to Point Cartwright or all the way down to Caloundra.

*You will only have access to the granny flat if you are booking for more than 7 people. If your booking is for 7 people or less, the granny flat will be locked off.

*Pet-friendly for dogs - upon application, a $50 pet booking fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats.

*Please note that only the Master bedroom has Air-conditioning

*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings*

*No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)

*This property has a strict no party and no smoking policy. This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.

*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.

*Please note that the house next door is currently undergoing renovations so there may be noise depending on the construction schedule.

Great Stay
A great family stay. The separate granny flat provided extra privacy when required. Good facilities and well maintained and clean. The kitchen is very well fitted out and was well utilised by the passionate cooks in the family. Kawana Surf Club just up the beach path made for a good ‘local’ when away from home.

Highly recommended this accommodation. Starting with Location, between two shopping centres, quiet area an easy 5-minute walk to the beautiful beach. As well a park across from the house with playground equipment for young ones or your fur baby. The accommodation is very homely and spacious. Comfortable beds to accommodate 9 guests, with 2 bathrooms. Its very clean and tidy and comes with everything that you need including a good range of consumables and pantry items. Secure parking for 2 – 3 vehicles as well as off road parking if needed. The pool, BBQ and outdoor area are perfect for all the family to enjoy time together. Communication with the hosts, Melanie and Verena was easy, prompt, and lovely to deal with. We had an excellent family stay, with the plan to return in the future.

Very comfortable property secure front fencing making me feel at ease allowing my fur kids roam the yard! Great back deck and pool pergola area to watch kids closely, love the open plan design with thoroughfare from front to back yard. Ducted zoned aircon was lovely. The property and location is excellent and we will definitely be back for another stay. We loved having the pool which the whole family enjoyed. The location was new to us as we have previously stayed in Mooloolaba. We found that the location was perfect, close to the beach, cafe’s and shopping centre.

On arrival we were VERY disappointed that the pool was green!!! We were also only given the key to the main house not the granny flat so we did have to ring & get that key due to our numbers. We rang about the pool a few times we were very disappointing to here that they already knew about the pool but hadnt done anything about it. Toke most of our stay to clean it - we got to swim in it 1 day in our week stay. The granny flat had scrap food in the freezer still, & was dirty & dusty. Recycle bin was full to the top. The kitchens are very well stocked has everything you need including salt/pepper, oil etc Bedrooms are all a good size with lots of cupboard space. Very large bathroom in main house, but the granny flat has a few issues with the taps - cant wash hands in the sink because the tap is to small & close to sides. Also had ALOT of issues with both TVs not working properly. Nice yard even had a dog enclosed area. There are a few maintenance issues & we couldnt send through the photos we toke to show the manager. For our stay the property was over priced with all the issues we had.

The agents were very unorganised we did not even have an email sent to us with the lock box number for keys to get in then during our stay last minute notice the night before wanted us to be at the property between a two hour period for a pool maintenance man then charged us extra for linen and said every single bed had been slept in when only 3 of the 6 had been slept in house beautiful agency to be desired will not use them again
