Wow! Join The Oneida lake house club and enjoy the luxury of two bubbling jacuzzi, a sunset night cap on one of The Oneida’s over sized gazebos or a day of laying out on the club lawn. Or take one step off the club yard and enjoy the sand between your toes. Besides being packed with all you need condo one also has its own private deck, and a couple of arcade games for some family completion. The Penthouse is the largest condo unit in the Oneida Lake House and certainly the most impressive! It is a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom top-notch vacation destination with hands down the best view of Oneida Lake's famous sunsets. It is currently the tallest free-standing residential home on Oneida Lake to our knowledge and can be seen from miles away. Treat yourself!!

When you first enter the Penthouse, you will be welcomed by the large hallway that opens up directly to the living room, dining area, and kitchen which are designed around the lakefront floor-to-ceiling windows/sliders and a private balcony that encompasses the entry to the backside of the unit. This view is one of the best on the entire beach! Guests can enjoy the penthouse year-round with its central heating and air conditioning.

The penthouse has been completely remodeled and furnished with a modern coastal theme to give guests the luxury feeling that they are on top of the world looking down!

The kitchen is spacious and open enough for large families to cook together and combined with the large adjoining living room groups of all sizes will be able to enjoy their time spent together. The living room has been designed with an oversized sectional and a 75" HD smart TV that allows guests to stream their favorite apps. The dining area boasts an 8-person dining room table that connects both spaces and allows for larger gatherings or even smaller groups looking to wind down and play some of the supplied board games together or the new shuffleboard table.

Directly off of the grand hallway are the four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Inside one of the full bathrooms are a washer and dryer combo so specifically only the penthouse guests will be able to wash their vacation clothes without having to use the shared laundry area on the first floor.

All bedrooms have new comfortable carpeting and decor. The master bedroom hosts a king-sized bed and spacious closet. The second and third bedrooms include queen size beds both with closet spaces as well. The fourth bedroom is great for kids and has two twin-size beds and ample play space.

How far is the Oneida Lake House from Oneida Lake?

Great news... Our home is directly on the water and touching the sandy beach with the expansive private beachfront property you and your crew will be enjoying the lake in literally seconds!!


Can we cook at the house? BBQ outside?

Absolutely! The penthouse kitchen is fully equipped with your standard plates, bowls, utensils, wine/whiskey glasses, cups, pots, pans and SO much more. All appliances are brand new and ready to be enjoyed! We have a gas BBQ grill on the 3rd-floor patio deck to BBQ with the best view of Oneida Lake, hands down. Propane and backup tanks will be provided. In the kitchen, you will also find a toaster, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker complete with a variety of coffee and tea pods.


Is it suitable for children?

Yes, Yes, and Yes! We have had several families and friends stay in the penthouse. With the private property, there is tons of room for outdoor activities for the kids and they can have fun on the beach. The best part is you can keep a close eye on them standing on the top deck. As with all houses situated near the water, please always be cautious of the kiddos getting near the lake, and please provide ample supervision. The interior of the home has open spaces for the children to play and make themselves at home.


Are there any games or other activities at the house?

You bet! We have a plethora of board games (our personal favorites), arcade games, shuffleboard, and more.


What about outside? Is there ample seating?

Yes, we have you covered! We have beautiful new patio sets on the patio deck with comfy cushions for you to kick back and relax. The backyard also has patio furniture and two large hot tubs for your enjoyment.

What about the TV/Movie situation?

Great news, all of our TVs are “Smart TVs” which allow you to access Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, or whatever networks you are subscribed to!


Are pets allowed?

Yes, we do allow pets under certain restrictions! We are proud owners of two rescue puppies ourselves and understand the desire to have your furbabies on vacation with you. Please mention that you would like to bring a pet with you before booking to answer a few brief questions to see if your particular pet fits our requirements. Any dogs must be leashed at all times outside and cleaned up immediately. There is a $75 pet cleaning fee and additional fees may apply for any damages or pet rules broken.

As a guest of the Oneida House, you'll have access to a large, free parking lot located directly across the street. We kindly ask that you are considerate of other guests when parking and avoid blocking the dumpster, which is picked up weekly. Upon entering the communal front door, guests of Unit #3 will take a straight path forward and to the right, where they will find the door labeled "Unit #3". This convenient layout ensures a stress-free check-in process and easy access to your cozy getaway.

Car: This is the most convenient option if you are traveling within Blossvale or to nearby towns. There is ample parking available in Blossvale.

Bicycle: If you are looking for a more environmentally friendly way to get around, Blossvale is a great place to bike. There are a number of quiet roads in the area that are perfect for cycling.

Walking: Blossvale is a small town, so it is easy to get around on foot. If you are staying in the center of town, you can walk to most of the shops and restaurants.

The penthouse is on the top floor of a multi-unit building. There is a shared entrance through the front door that opens up to a communal laundry area that is free for all guests in the building to use (penthouse guests have their private laundry in the unit). Being at the top of one of the oldest (and the tallest) properties in Sylvan Beach guests should be aware that there are few levels of stairs to take to get up and down from the penthouse. We ask that you please consider this when packing and your ability to navigate luggage on these staircases.

Expansive Lakefront Luxury
As Sylvan Beach’s self proclaimed biggest fan, I can easily say that this is hands down the most beautiful property we’ve stayed at. The lake views are breathtaking, both inside and out. The property is beautifully appointed. You do not need to bring your own linens for beds or towels/toiletries for the shower. The host provides everything you need. The decor is modern, tasteful, and simplistic! Two full baths and a washer dryer in unit were wonderful. The outdoor fire pit on the deck that is into for this unit only was a nice addition. The outdoor space on the first level with hot tubs and a gazebo is like nothing else on the lake. Brand new outdoor showers were installed shortly after we arrived and are great for rinsing the sand off prior to using the jacuzzis. We were lucky to have the property mostly to ourselves for the long weekend. The parking is plentiful and directly in front of the unit. Hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back and would love to rent the entire property with friends in the future! The only negative is that all other sylvan properties will not compare in the future!

Excellent Sylvan Beach Penthouse
Our stay in the Penthouse at Sylvan Beach was EXCELLENT!! The property was even better than we expected. The openness of the 3rd floor allowed us to be together but not on top of each other. The couch was comfy, TV was great, table fit us all, and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms were large, except for the room with 2 beds, but even that had enough room to maneuver. The beds were very comfortable. The host left us dishwasher and laundry soap, both bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and body soaps in pump-bottles in the showers, dish soap, towels for all needs, garbage bags, a spice rack, and other spices in the cupboard. We enjoyed using the grill on the patio and eating with a view. The views from the 3rd floor were spectacular and made up for having to climb the stairs lol. We even watched windsurfing on the windy day. There were people in other units during our stay but we barely heard them or knew they were there. With 2 hot tubs, being outside at the same time was not an issue. It was during the fall, so most of the attractions were closed, but we appreciated the slower pace while walking around and seeing the area. The host was great with communication and very responsive. I hope to be able to go back in the future and would highly recommend this property and host!
