Summary:
Welcome to the Golden Greek Getaway! This home sits in the heart of Seminole Heights, Tampa. 5-10 minutes from Downtown, and walking distance to the Hillsborough River, and about a half a mile to tons of shops and restaurants. Seminole Heights is known for as a Foodie Hot Spot with many award winning restaurants all within a few minutes drive! The home has undergone an extensive renovation and has been filled with soft white and gray tones with pops of blue and gold to resemble parts of Greece.

The Space:
The space was designed to feel like a clean, crisp little Greek villa. Clean white paint with bold pops of blue and gold to make it pop. Enjoy movies on the couches, cook some meals in the full kitchen, or cuddle up in our comfortable beds. The house sits on 1/3 of an acre, so go out in the backyard to enjoy the fantastic Tampa, Florida weather!

Guest Access:
Guests have access to pretty much unlimited parking out front, the entire home and the backyard.

The Neighborhood:
Tampa in general has some fantastic restaurants and shops. This neighborhood (Seminole Heights) is known for our independent gourmet foodie restaurants and the Hillsborough River. We have some spectacular bars and restaurants, a good amount of them are about a half a mile walk. In our neighborhood you can get some coffee/breakfast in the morning, dinner/drinks at night, and even fresh Cuban bread at the 24 hour bakery that’s 3/4 of a mile away! 15min to airport, 5-10min to downtown/convention center, 5 min to Armature Works, 15 min to Moffit, 10 min to Ybor City, 20-50 min to beaches (depending on beach) and 15 min to Busch Gardens.

Getting Around:
Uber is readily accessible and you can typically get anywhere in Tampa for $7-$15 or so (depending on the day and location of course), plenty of restaurants and things to do (10-15 min walk), and the river is about 5 minutes walk.

Other Things to Note:
We have top of the line WiFi and a Roku tv with Netflix.

I saw that it was remodeled beautifully and if there was a roach problem in the past I assure you it isn’t the problem now I did see one dead roach in a corner at the back entrance but that’s all I saw in the entire house. It was very clean! Loved the place so much I returned for a whole week it feels like a home away from home!

Everything was great, but I have two complaints. Firstly, there was no driveway, so we had to park on the side of the street, which made walking through the muddy grass in the rain unpleasant. Secondly, the patio lacked a light bulb, preventing us from dining outside. Nonetheless, the place was beautiful and the neighborhood quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this location in Tampa. There is a lot to see in the area and it is close to stores and restaurants. We visited Clearwater and Ybor. We were very happy with our stay, the host and price.

Extended Weekend Stay for Concert
This is a great property that's located in a wonderfully quiet and cute neighborhood. It was perfect for me and my adult daughter. The decor and design of the interior of the home is updated/modern and is very tastefully done. The beds were comfortable and the closet space is more than adequate. The communication with the property owner was excellent.... very responsive. The only negatives we experienced during our stay were: 1.) The floors and rugs in the bedrooms need to be cleaned better. We found debri, bobbi pins and hair in both bedrooms and the rugs have a sticky feel to them. 2.) Pest control needs to be improved. It's not a terrible issue, but needs to be addressed. Overall, this property worked out great for us and we'd likely rent again if in the area in the future.

Beautiful home, perfect location!
My husband and I often travel to Tampa to visit family in the area. This property is exactly as pictured - it's immaculate, comfortable, spacious, and nicely appointed. The location was convenient to resturants (walking distance to the Front Porch Grille, Trophy Fish, and others!) and Tampa attractions. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and I loved walking by the charming homes to the nearby park on the river. We had a few questions and the owners answered those immediately. We have recommended this home to other family members who visit from out of state, and will plan to stay here ourselves again on another visit.

The place is perfect- exactly like the pictures! The host was very attentive and provided everything you could possibly need or want. Great location, close to everything and a short walk to a lovely neighborhood park on the river. This was by far out best VRBO experience -- will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tampa !

Fun Time in Tampa
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this property quite a bit. The location was close to a lot of restaurants and a Publix. The house was well furnished and was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the amenities, and the check in and check out was easy. The host was always available for any questions we had and we look forward to staying here again, the next time we are in Tampa.

This vrbo was perfect for me and my partner to stay at for a few days. I loved how close most of the daily attractions were close to the property not having to drive out of the way to do anything and the locations is a good neighborhood! Will definitely be booking more stays from the property managers again!

Overall not a bad stay but we rented mostly for the location. Our biggest issue was hot water. there was none. I messaged the owner about this and they made it seem like we weren’t using the shower right… then I just read a review now and the same issue happened with the people before us, so clearly they know about this. There is another rental on the property and apparently if they use the hot water, our rental didn’t get any. The other renters also showed up about an hour after we did an tried to get into our unit. It was an ackward exchange cause she thought we had her rental, until we both realized the one beside was actually hers. Clearer marking between the two rental would be better(the other one looks like a garage kind of). Front step tiles are also very loose and a bit hazardous.

Furnace didn’t work and temps in low forties at night. Called host and was told probably bc it was cold outside. From New York State and the outside temp doesn’t control the temp of the house up here and it gets cold. No heat for the three nights we were there. On top of that only had hot water for about a two minute shower then it went stone cold. Did have hot water after about 10-15 minutes but it was hell standing there all wet and covered with soap waiting for it. Contacted the host and was told to wait the 10 minutes bc the other unit may have used the hot water. Apparently the two units shared. Didn’t make a difference as we tried showers all different times of the day/night. Had a near catastrophe bc the from steps are loose and falling off. Would not recommend !!!!!!!!

Trip to drop daughter at college
Upon arrival the property had not been cleaned. Floors had not been swept, the livingroom rug looked like it had never been cleaned at all. The shower was still wet with hair in the tub from the guest prior to our stay. The house had a broken window in the living room on the side of the house. I reached out to the owner and they were very responsive and apologetic. The cleaners had attempted to enter the house on our first day as we were getting ready to leave for a few hours. I believe the date of our arrival was miscommunicated. The cleaner went in to clean and since the floors had dirt, dust, etc.. I had laid towels on the floor to step on and those same towels were hung back up on the rack when we arrived back at the house. The cleaner also left a half an energy drink in the living room when they left. That night at 3 a.m. we were awoken by a man trying to enter the house. He tried several times until he realized he had the wrong house. There is a smaller house on property and he was confused. None the less, we had rented the property to stay at while dropping off my daughter to the university of Tampa. The location was good for that purpose but the property was not kept up or cleaned to a level that I would think most people would expect when you are paying to stay somewhere. The owner was great with communication though. If the property fixed some issues it would have otherwise been a great property. Kitchen does look like the pictures.
