The Ackerman home is private, with views of the surrounding mountains, and you can enjoy the outdoors in the hot tub or dinner on the patio with a grill. The interior boasts beautiful woodwork, a large kitchen, a living room with a floor-to-ceiling window wall, and a TV entertainment room in the basement. This home offers incredible views of the mountains you can enjoy from the kitchen and living.

Have you ever seen a view like this before? See the park before you get there, and we are only 5 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park.

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, this home has a large wrap-around deck that provides gorgeous and expansive views of Sequoia National Park.

For added adventures during your visit, we are within walking distance of the Bureau of Land Management, giving you easy access to hiking trails and the best mountain biking trails in the area!

Walk in to experience floor-to-ceiling views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Sequoia National Park.

This bi-level home provides two bedrooms and a loft with ample sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests.

The private main bedroom on the lower level has a king-size bed, an En-Suite bathroom with a shower, and a private slider to the large expansive deck.

The second private bedroom has a King Bed on the lower level.

The loft space is upstairs, providing two full-size beds and a private balcony. This bedroom is not private, as the loft does have open walls.

Enjoy the hot tub or the deck for grilling and outdoor dining.

The neighborhood is a quiet and rural mountain community. Please keep silent on the back deck as your voices carry! Quiet hours are 9:00 PM.

Mountain house
Very nice, clean place in the mountains. Not to difficult to get too, yet private. Steep yard, driveway and stairs, maybe not the best for small children, but for adults and teens it was wonderful! We enjoyed the architecture of the house, multi-level deck, loft space with upper deck, hot tub and all the elevated views of the mountains and sunsets! Would stay again!

Perfect Place for Sequoias visit
The location of the house is perfect. Easy to get to and so close to SNP. The views are fabulous! It was a great place to relax when we weren't out and about. My only reason for not rating a 5 is the living room sectional is in desperate need of replacing. Comfy furniture would make it a 5+

Excellent property to stay at we enjoyed the location very much as it was easy access to the five national parks that we visited. There were good restaurants nearby we especially enjoyed the quails every morning and the little ones especially. The place was well equipped with everything we needed beautiful views. The house was beautiful and the view of the mountains was spectacular. We really appreciated the games that were available to play after a day spent at the park. We also found the information about the park and its trails extremely helpful. Three Rivers is a friendly town, with plenty of great places to eat. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Sequoia, we would definitely plan on staying here again.

We had a group of 8 adults, I was worried we would feel cramped but it was perfect. Enough cookware for cooking meals at home. Thoes who slept in the loft area woke up with the sun, so I'd recommend a sleeping mask. However, waking up with the sun and a coffee is the best way to start the day then ending the day in the hot tub, pure bliss.

Great location
If you are visiting Sequoia Park, the location of this house is unbeatable. It is spacious and clean. Sheila Stone, the manager, was quick to respond to any issues, such as replacing burned-out light bulbs. She exemplifies a friendly and courteous super host. The only reason for the overall 4-star rating is that the house is quite old. While it is a great place to stay, we have experienced nicer accommodations in this price range, which is why we couldn't give it a full 5 stars.

The photos on the listing are exactly to represent the property. The house is built on the hilltop to have a great view of the mountains. Don't worry about any neighbors looking into the place. The place is clean/spotless, spacious and well equipped for all kinds of cooking. The towels are soft. The beds/comforters are comfy. The manager is very responsive to any questions. It is less than 10 minutes to the Sequoia Park entrance. We definitely recommend this house to your visit to the Sequoia National Park or nearby nature.

This was a great place to stay for a family looking for an isolated place to enjoy nature and one another’s company. There were 8 of us and the space accommodated easily. Great spaces for meals together and general quality time. Beautiful surroundings. Easy access to the national parks (unfortunately the nearest access road was out due to storms a few miles into the park). The house was well stocked with everything needed for cooking, meals, and laundry. Everything was clean and in working order. The hot tub was a nice addition. We would definitely stay at this house again and I would highly recommend it.

Amazing view, close to the park
We stayed here in late December. Overall, it was great. Pros: Clean. Amazing view, large windows in living room and patios. Mountain facing building was foggy in the morning which made it even more amazing. Fast internet and sufficient kitchen stuff. The grill ran out of gas late in the evening, we called the property manager and they brought us a new tank immediately even though it was late and raining heavily. They could have simply asked us to wait until morning. Kudos. Close to the sequoia national park. Cons: Loft should not be counted as a bedroom. This place is in fact 2 bed, 2 bath. The beds in loft are small. They are good for one adult, not two. Overall, it was great.
