Cette maison est idéalement située dans une rue boisée calme à quelques pas d'un magnifique sentier de plage côtière. Descendez le sentier et vous êtes à cinq minutes à pied de la plage indienne pour de superbes peignages de plage et de marée. Montez le sentier et vous êtes à 5 minutes à pied des magasins, des restaurants, de la jetée, du musée local, des courts de tennis et de tennis publics et d'autres superbes randonnées. Prenez le chien parce que la ville et les plages sont super adaptées aux chiens.

Cette maison est bien adaptée pour une escapade en couple, une réunion d'amis ou un séjour confortable pour une famille de quatre personnes. Il y a 2 lits Queen et un canapé-lit futon dans le salon. Parker Creek Cottage se trouve sur un très grand terrain avec beaucoup de cour pour profiter et est entièrement clôturé. Asseyez-vous et détendez-vous sur la terrasse couverte qui donne sur la forêt et le quartier. Cette maison a de beaux planchers de bois franc et de grandes fenêtres qui la rendent ouverte et chaleureuse. Le poêle à bois offre une chaleur et une ambiance exceptionnelles tout en regardant le câble T. V. sur le nouvel écran plat. Le salon est ouvert sur la cuisine bien équipée avec bar petit déjeuner. La table haute de style café ajoute une touche contemporaine. Le décor de style plage crée une atmosphère relaxante et une ambiance de chalet de plage amusant. Laveuse et sécheuse dans cabanon détaché.

Trinidad, autrefois une ville baleinière historique, reste un pittoresque village de pêcheurs. Il possède l'une des dernières flottes de pêche commerciale «moustiques» de Californie. Promenez-vous sur la jetée récemment rénovée ou aventurez-vous sur l'un des nombreux bateaux de pêche charter. Selon la saison, dînez sur le saumon, la morue, la morue ou le crabe locaux. Charming visit

Wonderful roomy quiet retreat in Trinidad

We fully enjoyed our stay at the property. Interactions with the host were fine. Lots of good information provided in pamphlets and online. Close to the beach, but private. Big lot, roomy house, nicely appointed. We'd come back there again.

Weekend Getaway

My family rented this place to attend Rumble over the Redwoods in McKinleyville. It was a great location and we loved the ability to walk to Indian Beach or into town for coffee in the morning. It’s smells like an old cabin. Haha. Which can be kind of nostalgic. The only thing I wish is that check-in was pushed up an hour to 3 PM and check-out pushed out an hour to 11 AM. Other than that, it was good!

quiet location and close to beach

we stayed on a very hot day- but able to open the windows and let some air in. Bed was comfortable and bathroom adequate. we did notice a slip up on one coffee cup washing- but we now try to wash own dishes when a dishwasher not in unit. I would recommend a shed or the trash because an animal made dinner late at night of the previous trash bags left in the garage area. If this was one thing I suggest it would help.

This house was larger than expected and came well supplied. The porch deck is a nice bonus for outdoor seating. The bathtub/shower drain is very slow and got worse over the week.

Trinidad vacation

The little house was nice & clean. The location was great.The one love seat in the house was comfortable for two, but not four adults. The bathroom was clean. There were no dressers/vanity in the two bedrooms, so we lived out of our suitcases for our 4 day stay and had no a place to prepare for the day. The location is perfect for many quick walks down to the beach. It would have been wonderful to have some beach chairs to take down to the many quick walks we took to watch the amazing sunsets. The kitchen had the essentials. We enjoyed our stay, but it’s would be more comfortable for 2 not 4. Being able have our dog Lola with us was GREAT!

Cozy coast retreat

Great location and really cozy beds. Just a short walk to the beach and downtown. The wood stove made the place to cozy and we enjoyed the covered deck since it was raining most of the time.

Beautiful Trinidad

Parker Creek Cabin is a quaint little cabin within walking distance of groceries, restaurants and the beach. The kitchen is adequately stocked and all of the appliances work well. The heating in the cabin works great. We did not elect to use the wood burning stove. The deck is fantastic and a beautiful place to sit for morning coffee or tea. On site laundry facilities and the fenced yard for our dog were both added bonuses. We concur with other renters that lighting inside is challenging if you read or play board games. There is also a lack of comfortable, relaxed seating both in the house and on the deck. Fortunately, previous renters comments prepared us for that, so we brought our own deck chairs. Overall a great place to stay and we would rent here again.

Gret location! steep trail to the best beach in Trinidad. My 85 yr old husband and I did two walks to the beach where we saw seals, and had a ball. nice deck for afternoon wine time.

Cabin in the Woods Yet So Convenient!

A lovely cabin that offered us comfortable beds, pillows aplenty, soft bed linens, everything we needed to eat at home and a relaxing atmosphere. While some might consider this home “dated” it’s cute and sparkling clean inside. While my 91 year old mom could have used a small grab bar while getting into the shower, it offered plenty of shower power! You can easily walk to the nearby market/restaurant or down to the beach. We loved starting our daily adventures with coffee on the porch enjoying the wooded area and pleasant garden beds. We used the cabin as our base camp for exploring Avenue of the Giants (1 hour south) and Redwoods National Park (1 hour north) plus side trips to local beaches and Trees of Mystery (gondola ride and sky walk). While local internet offers spotty reception (1 bar pretty much everywhere) a smart tv and Wi-Fi is included. All in all, both our reservation experience and stay were delightful.

So Peaceful!

Nothing fancy, but everything you need—including a very helpful washer and dryer! It’s the location that makes this cottage a gem. A short walk down to Home Beach, where a big white seal greeted us from a boulder offshore. Short walk to delicious pizza and a VERY well-stocked market. The town of Trinidad is very sweet and feels like a real getaway. And everywhere you drive in all directions is gorgeous beach and redwood forest. Enjoy!

Quirky, quiet, good value

Stayed at Parker Creek Cabin for a week with my dog, a great base for exploring the coast and redwoods. Positive experience with Trinidad Retreats, especially Camille in reservations. Fenced yard is steep, grass is slippery when damp due to frequent fog. Quiet neighborhood, noise from nearby 101 freeway noticeable but not bothersome. House has quirks, but some good upgrades. Doors and windows new and worked well, so good insulation. Heat and water pressure fine, grill worked well. Dining room table in pictures replaced with a table and chairs, much more comfortable. Lack of light near dining table as others mentioned. Vintage oven and stove worked fine, fridge is newer. Limited counter and cupboard space. Housekeeping good and didn't smell musty to me. Issues: non-swiveling kitchen faucet, non-rotating blinds, no oven light, stained pots and pans, a loose towel rack, a bed that needs replacing (other bed was new/firm), and a worn-out leather couch. Only one plastic chair, besides the picnic table, so no comfortable seating on the porch. Setup of the toilet an issue for those with broad shoulders or a waist over 40in. Paper roll digs into leg and the heater is close. Someone arrives unannounced to pick up trash (Mon & Fri in summer), landscaping folks for a couple of hours on Thurs. Overall privacy limited by neighboring houses. House is mostly comfortable, and service from Trinidad Retreats excellent. Might not return to this home, but would definitely rent from them again.

This was a wonderful rental for me, my husband, and our dog. We could walk to the store, restaurants, and the beach. Very nicely stocked house and great fenced-in yard. We will return!

Pleasant visit at Parker Creek Cabin

Very adequate for our needs, which was mainly dog friendly. A very large yard that our yellow lab Greta really enjoyed. Our group included our adult daughter and it was comfortable for the 3 of us. Good beds, very quiet and private setting. Only complaint would be no cable or satallite for local news or sports but we survived. Did have Netflix and Amazon Prime so watched a few moives, otherwise played lots of Rummikub! We were there mainly for hubby to go out fishing on the Jumpin' Jack and he could almost walk down to the pier. Easy walk to the market and a couple of restaurants. Would definately rent again.
