Great Studio cottage located in Union Pier, Michigan on the lakeside of Red Arrow Highway is ideal to everywhere in beautiful Harbor Country. It’s only 90 minutes from Chicago. A place to renew, refresh, and relax. The area is experiencing exciting new updates while keeping a small beach town feel. Self guided wine tours and breweries are available. Many food options are nearby from tasty breakfast cafes to full formal dining. Weekends offer a fresh farmer’s market and seasonal fruit picking. Antique treasure shopping or find one of a kind arts and crafts in Sawyer and Three Oaks. Try your luck at Four Winds Casinos with music entertainment throughout the year.

Our cottage is the middle unit of three studio bungalows with its own designated parking. Oversized vehicles can park on the street. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator/ freezer, table/ chairs, electric cooktop, air fryer, microwave, outdoor grill, coffee maker, toaster, and utensils/ plate ware for your dining needs. In addition to the king size bed, we offer a pull out Queen sofa sleeper for the kids or extra adults. There is wireless internet and a smart TV accessing multiple streaming services. Cable TV is not available but you can cast video from your mobile or iPad. We have beach towels, insulated cooler bag, umbrella / chairs and kiddie toys for the beach.

After your sunny day at the fine sandy Lake Michigan shores come back to the cottage to relax with your favorite beverage. Sit out on the patio looking out to the expansive courtyard. At night, stroll back to the beach taking in its wonderful tree lined path to watch the stunning sunset and marvel at the starry night sky.

Besides Berrien Beach, the Warren Dunes is about 15 minutes away. In May, check out the Tulip Festival in Holland. Spend a day kayaking or fishing in the beautiful Galien River. Come in the Fall for the bountiful pumpkins. Year round there are art festivals, wine festivals, fall color changes and winter skiing. This area is not just a summer place!

Cozy and clean stay for 2
We spent a Notre Dame football weekend at the Moonlight beach bungalow. Too cold to enjoy the lake but the surrounding area was very nice and quiet. The bungalow was very clean and nicely furnished, perfect accommodations for our weekend getaway. Thanks for a nice stay.

LOVED this bungalow, perfect location and has everything you need to enjoy your getaway!
What a great property, comfy bed, and seating area. The kitchen is well stocked for a smaller place ( Keurig, coffee maker AND air fryer),great rainshower as well. We were here for a wedding, a little cool for the beach but we walked there anyway. The property was lovely- firepit, landscaping, even tho close to Red Arrow highway, we never noticed, very quiet. Would definitely return in the summer months.

Relaxing place to stay
Convenient to restaurant, grocery and beach. Walked a block or so to public beach access. Some attractions in the area were closed since the season was over. Still we visited a nice winery, book store and several restaurants and coffee shops.

We truly enjoyed staying at the Moonlight Beach Bungalow #2. It was clean and well decorated/supplied. Also, close to a very nice restaurant (Whistle Stop) that offered gluten free items! I would stay again. The only issue was the sleeping arrangements - we had four people and it was very tight.

We loved the location - walkable to the beach, close to a couple of restaurants and easy access to New Buffalo. The place was a perfect size for my wife and me. Loved the layout and decor. One question: what is up with the private and public beaches? How anyone owns a beach facing Lake Michigan is a travesty. Apart from that irritant, we loved our stay!

Perfect (almost) location
We had stayed at the inn up the road 2 years prior and loved the location near the beach, the whistle stop grocery and nearby restaurant. (All walkable) Daves place was perfect for us because it’s on that same street, in a cute shared courtyard of homes. We were there in September so we seemed to have the whole courtyard to ourselves. Kitchen and bath are plenty large, and sitting area outside was nice for wine and a game of Yahtzee! Only drawback is proximity to the train tracks and thus the 3am freight train. 🚂. Dave was extremely accommodating and easy to reach.

Awesome get a way!
Excellent cottage. It had everything we could have needed or wanted. Immaculate. Everything updated and working great. AC comfortable and cool. All the latest small appliances in the kitchen. Love the huge shower and comfy king size bed. Love easy access to the beach within walking distance.

Property was perfect. Very well taken care of and had everything we needed. Beach is a short walk at the end of the road. Really enjoyed the small town. New Buffalo is a short drive as well.

Fun First Trip to Lake Michigan
We very much enjoyed our stay. We were pleased and enjoyed several of the amenities provided. I really liked having beach chairs and an umbrella to use, so we didn't have to pack that ourselves. The bed was comfortable. Dave was a great communicator before and during our stay. If we come back to the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The beach access really is just a short walk away. Be aware that there is a railroad track nearby if you are sensitive to the occasional noise of a train. Overall, a great VRBO. You can tell Dave takes pride in his bungalow and wants to take care of his guests.

A Nice Retreat
Our second time staying at this location—we love the location to the public beach, Whistle stop for a quick breakfast and proximity to both New Buffalo and Three Oaks downtowns. We went from staying with a wobbly 1 year old last year to a very active 2 year old this year and the space was still great for our family.

Perfect location/adorable bungalow
We really loved it. The bungalow was very clean and everything was thought of. We loved the convenience to the beach (and those gorgeous Michigan sunsets), and we loved the cute coffee shop and tavern right near by. New buffalo was just a few miles and we enjoyed exploring there too. We plan to come back! Thank you.
