Enjoy our spacious home on 1 acre & have morning coffee on our covered 10x80 elevated porch overlooking beautiful trees & watching passing deer. Enjoy listening to and watching many species of birds while you unwind. There is plenty of room for the kids to run in the fenced back yard while you grill on the charcoal pit, utilize the full kitchen, or experience the cast-iron wall. We own and live on a Grass-Fed farm nearby and offer our steaks, and other cuts of meat during your stay. We can have them waiting for you at Hill Creek upon arrival and marinate them if desired.
We welcome your unique reason for visiting Victoria! We welcome work trips, families and more.
Our home has all you need for a comfortable stay while visiting Victoria or crossroad cities. ( Downtown 7 minutes.. most neighboring cities/beach approx 25-30 miles, 13 min to Coleto lake ) We are centrally located with easy access to San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Corpus Christi. as well. Let us know how we can help accommodate to your special trip.

Our unique custom home is designed for space and comfort. We are situated on a quiet road with beautiful trees with easy access to nearby events. The house includes handmade concrete countertops, walk-in stone showers, custom built pine walls, beds and desk, kid-friendly bedroom, beautiful saltwater aquarium, 3 big screen SMART TVs , Wi-Fi /High Speed Internet, commercial Keurig with coffee/tea, Ninja Brew coffee pot, stainless steel appliances, double convection oven, dishes, utensils, formal glassware and serving dishes, basic pots/pans, laundry room with washer/ dryer and host of board games. Guests love our comfortable beds! Peaceful is what we here most about our property. We are available to answer all your questions and be responsive hosts, but allowing and respecting your privacy during your stay.

*ATTENTION Wonderful Guests: PLEASE read over the VRBO Cancellation Policy for our home and let us or VRBO know if you have any questions about it. VRBO offers travel insurance at the time of reserving for a very minimal cost to cover your trip in the unfortunate event you may have to cancel. We are family-owned/operated and understand things may come up after you have reserved our home. We depend on your reservation as our income and all cancellation policies will hold despite your particular circumstance. Our home is for max occupancy of 16 guests AT ALL TIMES and no parties/ gatherings beyond or allowed. Please read house guidelines. Any guests over 2 there is a 20.00 per night per person charge.. We are following all recommended airbb and CDC best practices.

****Please note for your planning when staying with your family on sleeping- bedroom arrangements. All mattresses have been reviewed by our guests as very comfortable. King in Master, King in Blue Room, 2 twins in Curiosity Room, 1 queen/1twin, and 1 Full size futon floor mattress in Sky Room that can be pulled out. There is a small Papasan Couch and a single roll out sleeping mat located in Master bedroom area. Living area has 1 regular couch(not a pull out) and 1 wrap around couch.
*Any stays over 14 days will be subject to acceptance/approval by host. Please inquiry for long-term rental agreement.
* *We have security cameras located on outside of the home in the following locations: garage view, front door and front yard view, left and right side of home view. There are no cameras on back porch or anywhere inside invading your privacy.

Cousin Getaway
We had a lovely time at this spacious home in Victoria. We are four cousins coming from Houston, San Antonio and Corpus Christi. Victoria turned out to be the most central location. We had excellent communication with Tracy before, during and after our stay. She was very responsive to any of our needs or questions. The house is very large with two bedrooms on either side of the living and kitchen area. The large kitchen is well appointed with many extras. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable The beautiful back porch/deck runs the length of the house. Even in August, we had a nice breeze in the evenings. The really special thing about the stay was all the little welcoming surprises when we arrived. Beautiful fresh cut flowers, fresh lemonade, cookies and a bag of popcorn! Even some farm fresh eggs. Tracy and Paul are fabulous hosts. This house was perfect for our needs. Now that we've found it, we plan to be back often. We highly recommend. 😍

Comfortable stay with amazing renters
The home is wonderful, very comfortable beds and great kitchen. The back deck is great to sit and relax after a long day. Everything was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. The home and property were excellent but the home owners, Tracy and Paul were the best short term renters ever. If you are in the Victoria area, this is the place!

This home is in a quiet, country neighborhood. It is roomy, well appointed and clean. The Property Managers gave clear instructions, a warm email welcome and responded quickly to my text with questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the beautiful salt water aquarium. charming house in quiet neighborhood
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our original count was 7 but sadly 2 women had to back out. We were 5 women between the ages of 60-87. There was so much room for all of us. The house has everything you need , coffee pot, etc... There was also lemonade for us in the fridge. If we had any problems our host, Tracy, was readily available. I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing stay.

Nice place to stay at a great value.
We needed a place to stay on short notice for a death in the family. This residence was very well kept and clean. It's a large, comfortable home, unique in design and the hosts were very responsive. I had to communicate directly with Tracy due to a glitch with my VRBO app and she was great. The quiet country setting was also very nice. I highly recommend a stay here if you have the opportunity.

Usually 3rd time's a charm...
but at this property every time has been thoroughly charmed. This was our third stay and the only complaint we have is we made a mistake and didn't book a long enough visit. Grateful to have discovered this place...we plan to make it an annual getaway. Much thanks to Tracy and Paul for providing this peaceful haven...truly a home away from home.

Family Christmas visit.
Loved the spaciousness of the house and large fenced yard and covered deck was a plus. Most of my family is in TX and my sister in Victoria was hosting Christmas. We were able to have some of the family stay in the house so we were not split up into hotels. Made for a great gathering place for games. The owners put up a Christmas tree and other lights. Welcoming and festive. They left brownies and snacks for us. The salt water aquarium wss a fascinating diversion. We will come back if the need arises. Only one tiny suggestion as I am short - a full length mirror somewhere.😘

My daughter, my friend, and I stayed here for my other daughter’s wedding. My goodness is this house beautiful!! Tons of room and a gorgeous kitchen! The host is an absolutely lovely person. She was very communicative and checked in with us to make sure we had all we needed. She also has a cattle farm so we ordered some amazing steaks and cooked those right up! I will most definitely stay here again the next time I come to Victoria!

10 Stars for the Hill Creek Hideaway
We enjoyed our stay and would give Hill Creek Hideaway 10 Stars out of 5 if we could. We rented for a short two-day stay while in Victoria. The property and home were perfect for us and our fur child with comfortable furniture and bedding. It's an immaculately clean specious home with a well-stocked kitchen. We really appreciated the extra touches provided by the hosts that included snacks, tea, fresh eggs and vegetables from the garden and tea upon arrival. The owners were immediately responsive to any questions. We would definitely recommend this home and plan to come back and stay again. Thank you for everything Tracy and Paul

The house was close to Victoria Country Club where we had our annual tournament. The home was perfect for us, plenty of room, nice beds and showers and we enjoyed cooking and spending time on the back porch!

Second Visit
This was our (mom, sister, me) second time staying at this property and it was as wonderful as the first visit. The home is beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. It's very private and peaceful. As we enjoyed our morning coffee on the huge, beautiful deck, we delighted in the sounds of birds singing and cows lowing. In the evenings, the silence was broken only by the songs of the crickets and the rain dancing on the metal deck roof. Tracy is a charming and accommodating hostess. We are hoping to make this an annual spring getaway. The only downside, really, is that we can't stay longer.

Best VRBO or AB&B I have ever stayed in.
The house was great. Super clean. Tracy and her family went above and beyond for our family. We rented the house for my grandmother’s funeral, when we arrived we found a condolence card and a plant they had left for us. There were farm fresh eggs and strawberry lemonade in the fridge for us. I cannot speak highly enough about this experience.
