Loved Our Stay
We had a total of 6 adults and 3 young kids. The house was perfect for a group of our size. The bedrooms slept great and the common areas were big enough for everyone to hang out. The proximity to the beach was awesome and the area was shallow and perfect for the 5-7 year olds we had on the trip. The pool was well taken care of and a nice added treat. The man who lives in the house next door was friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations.

Very nice house and perfectly located
This was our first time staying at this house and second time to Waveland. If you’ve never been before, you must know the water is Brackish. Not your typical ocean. Very shallow for 100+ yards out. No sea shells and minimal waves of any at all. We enjoy it because we have little kids and they can swim freely without getting knocked over by waves. The sand is very nice. Beach is very clean. The local town is extremely friendly and plenty of fun places to visit. Golf carts are nice to rent for the week! As far as this rental house goes, it was fabulous. The pool is bigger than what it appears to be in the pictures. Very very clean and perfectly located on the beach boulevard. Owner was nice, and the neighbor who helps maintain the property is very friendly. Hope this info helps someone out. Enjoy!

Great beach getaway, hour from New Orleans
House was amazing, exactly as listed. The water was really shallow but the beach was white sand and maintained by the county, so it was great to just sit and read a book.

Family Vacation
The house was beautiful and the pool was great! We enjoyed the view from the front porch and the nice breeze in the evenings. We chose this location to have water access and be near NOLA for a day trip. If you're looking for a beachy beach or swimming water this isn't it. It's very shallow waaay out then you start to sink. So no swimming, no waves, no normal "beach vacation" experience. If we had done more research as far as the water and beach goes we would have probably stayed elsewhere. Not the home owners fault! The home was beautiful and spacious, well equipped with bedding. It needed a few repairs but nothing we couldn't live with, except we were pretty disappointed the jacuzzi tub didn't work. It did have an elevator but we didn't know how to use it or if it worked so we hauled everything up the stairs since we arrived in the middle of the night. It had very minimal tp and trash bags, not sure if there was any paper towels to begin with, no plastic wrap or foil and no tupperware to store food... Just a few things we had to immediately go out and get. This was our first VRBO experience so maybe this is normal. Overall, it was a beautiful home in a good centralized location. We drove 1hr to NOLA, 35 min to Biloxi and 3 hr to Navarre Beach FL. Communication with the host was great and check in was easy, even arriving in the middle of the night.

My family (mom/dad 70+, sister, myself/husband, and four kids 10-14) stayed and loved every minute. Ashley communicated well prior and during our stay. Beds were cozy and kitchen had all we needed. The front porch is a perfect spot to perch morning through evening. The bugs get a bit annoying once the sun sets, but Ashley provided two large fans that cooled during the day and blew away the bugs in the evening. The beach is lovely and the water is calm throughout the day. Early in the morning the water is especially calm and we were able to paddle board out to visit a few passing dolphins. The area is fun to explore and the locals in Bay St.Louis were warm and welcoming. We loved the area and hope to return.

Paradise!
My family loved this rental. We are already talking about visiting again soon and we rarely visit the same place twice. The house is nice and comfy and the view is awesome. It was nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach. We loved the private pool also. The neighbor John was great and very helpful! The neighborhood was quiet and close to restaurants and fun things to do. Thanks for sharing your beach paradise with us.

Amazing location right on beach. Neighbor who tends to property was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be the kitchen - dishes were dusty due to open shelving, and pots and pans were in pretty bad shape except for a new Lodge Dutch oven (which we used for all of the cooking). Waveland is a nice town and very close to lots of great places. Overall a great option for our family vacation.

For years we stayed at this property for our annual family vacations. After a four year hiatus, we finally made it back. The property is the perfect place in the perfect location! The owner was great and very responsive! Loved our time together as a family and look forward to returning next year!

Cruisin' the Coast
Bay St Louis is our favorite Cruisin' spot. This awesome beach retreat was ten minutes down the road. Me, my wife, & my lil homie really enjoyed the place. My buddy, his wife, and there two little girls joined us Friday night. There's plenty of parking (4-5 vehicles easily). The pool was a perfect way to end the day and the kids loved it. The front porch is big and perfect to drink coffee and watch the sun rise and the view is 👌🏼👌🏼. The hang out area under the house would be great to boil crawfish, fry fish, or just spend the evening hanging out with friends and family! The house is loaded with all you need to enjoy/entertain for a week plus beach trip. The owner, Ashley, is over the top helpful and friendly. She responded quickly via VRBO messages. We had some electric fan issues on my buddy's 62 Galaxie and were running behind on checking out Sunday morning. I reached out to her and she didn't have anyone coming directly behind us and she was so nice and laid back and told us no rush. The neighbor, who helps take care of and watches over the place, is also a really cool fella. Very friendly and we talked to him a few times. He let us know if we needed anything to let him know. We plan on and look forward to staying here again in the future. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay and have some fun near Bay St Louis and Pass Christian, this just may be it!
