Quiet Private Cabin in the woods near fishing, hiking, skiing,ORV,snow trails

Updated 3 bed 2 bath cabin. Really a home but is a cabin for me. Great area nestled right in the Manistee forest but close to everything. Trail system right down the road, tippy dam and Caberfae both less than 13 minutes away. Manistee is 18 miles to the west and Cadillac just a little father to the East. Close to all the rivers and hot spots around these great area.

Cabin has blackout curtains, completely updated, nest thermostats, air conditioning and starlink internet which is rare in this area and the fastest around here. Located in the Manistee Forest near prime fishing, hunting and trails. The cabin is nestled amongst trees, providing a serene and secluded atmosphere. Inside, you will find a cozy living room with a wood pellet stove, perfect for warming up after a day of outdoor activities. The fully equipped kitchen offers all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals. Upstairs, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep. The surrounding area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, with endless opportunities for fishing, hunting, and exploring the scenic trails. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply looking to relax in nature, this cabin is the perfect getaway.

Garage is not available as we keep our personal items there. Pole barn is available for an additional fee if required but will remain locked unless previously arranged. Per VRBO policy we disclose our exterior cameras only (nothing inside ). IT is a rental in a rural area so we have cameras outside for security when not there. We have 1 in the back yard, 1 facing driveway, 1 facing front of driveway in front of garage and 1 facing the garage and barn (4 outside cameras only). Thank you . Snowshoe fun
We are 2 retired couples who snowshoe. Our time at the cabin was fun and comfortable. The amount of snow was terrific! West Michigan had so much more snow than the east side. Although it was cold outside, the cabin was warm and cozy. Taking a hot shower after an outing was very relaxing. We enjoyed going to Manistee which is only 20 minutes away.

This was truly one of my best VRBO experiences! My family and I loved the setting. We walked our dog down the road, which felt like a secluded winter wonderland. The cabin is set back from the road and gave us the privacy we were hoping for. We skiied at Crystal Mountain which was an easy 30 minute trip from the cabin. The cabin itself was extremely clean and quaint. We loved having our own bedrooms and two baths. The kitchen was well-supplied and the hosts supplied us with a gift basket and access to anything in the cupboards. I had brought coffee for a filter, but there was a Keurig rather than a coffeepot. No worries, there was a full package of Starbucks French Roast pods. The hosts thought of every detail to make this visit a joy. I hope we can return!

Great for hunting camp. Extra space to store your gear so its not in your way. In the middle of 2 bigger cities, but far enough to get away and hunt. Hunting in 2024 perfection.

Great stay
The house and the property was perfect for our vacation. We came out to kayak the big Manistee and the Pine river. The house very close to both rivers. Excellent location. The house very clean and updated. I think this was the only vacation rental I've stayed at that TV's in all the bedrooms, which very nice. The host very accommodating. Leaving a nice gift basket and firewood. I'll definitely be staying here again. We loved our stay

This property was the perfect getaway!! The cabin had everything we needed. The home was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and so was the furniture in other areas. Host Tammy was always on top of any questions. We will definitely be going back ! Oh and the dogs loved it too😊

Manistee Gem
My friend and I were looking for a place close to Big M for a weekend of mountain biking in the forest, and this cabin turned out to be the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed! Tammy is an incredible host; you can tell she has put much thought into ensuring guests have everything they need. The kitchen is very well-appointed, the beds are comfy, and the living room is a great place to put your feet up and relax for some evening screen time. Added benefits were having AC that worked really well on a hot summer day, with individual AC units in the upstairs bedrooms to help ensure a good night's sleep. A bonus is that this cabin also has great drinking water right from the tap, unlike many places in the area where that is not the case. The internet worked great if you need to catch up on work, or for streaming your favorite shows on the flat screen. We'll be back next year and look forward to another stay at the Cabin. The cabin is a sturdy lad and very well-built; I can see this holding up to any kind of weather and not being phased! Would be a great option any time of the year. Thanks, Tammy!!

R & R Weekend
We were looking for a couple of peaceful days and we found it. The cabin was wonderful, updated, cozy, and so nice and clean. There’s lots to do outdoors and we made a short trek into Manistee to enjoy the lakeshore. Tammy, the hostess, was so great to work with, too. I would gladly return.

The best Christmas EVER!!
Thanks to Ms.Tammy me and my family enjoyed our first ever chirstmas away from home. Tammy made sure everything went as smooth as possible. Very relaxing!
We chose this area for skiing, but the weather did not cooperate. We enjoyed going to Manistee for movies, restaurants and bowling. Property was beautiful and comfortable, very well stocked kitchen! We had one issue with hot water, and the owner had the hot water tank replaced within about 4 hours, very impressed with the responsiveness. Would definitely come back, hopefully for more snow next time! HA!

Perfect hide away spot
Such a great spot for us to get away from chaos so peaceful for us all lots of space to park the truck and trailer and easy to access the trails for riding. The town is very quaint and easy access to anything you want to do. We will come back for sure. Thank you Miller family for sharing your spot.
