Welcome to our beautifully updated home, in a peaceful beach neighborhood. Sweet Spot Getaway is a newly renovated charmer, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, in a neighborhood with private beach access. Take a 5 minute stroll to the beach, or drive 6 minutes to the town beach. Our home features 3 spacious bedrooms, with the main bedroom on the first floor, 2.5 updated bathrooms, a garage, and a large, open family room. There is a chef's kitchen with all the necessary amenities and new appliances. Grill and chill outside on our covered and uncovered patios, or relax in our central air conditioned, open family room. There is beautiful wood flooring and central A/C controlled by Nest thermostats throughout the entire house.

Sweet Spot Getaway is easy to get to, as it is about a 5 minute drive off the highway, and accessible to the Westbrook Shoreline East train station for access into NYC. It is the perfect location to work from home and be inspired with creativity as you relax on the quiet private neighborhood beach. Our fast Wi-Fi speeds make remote working easy.

Have an event at the Water's Edge Resort or the Elk's Lodge? Attending a graduation at Yale or another university? Our home can serve as a perfect family friendly alternative to staying on the resort while being only a 1 minute drive to Water's Edge, a 5 minute drive to the Elk's Lodge, and an easy 35 minute drive to Yale. Our large chef's kitchen is modern and stocked with everything you need to cook for your family. We know how challenging it can be travelling with small children. Our Sweet Spot Getaway will give you the space you need for napping, meals, relaxing time, playing games in the backyard, and being able to cook in the kitchen or BBQ on the outdoor propane grill.

There is plenty of space to spread out, with 2 bedrooms upstairs, and a large main bedroom with en-suite bathroom, downstairs. The main bedroom has plenty of room for a portable crib (not provided) for those travelling with infants. Our home has ample space for a family reunion, or a change of scenery to spend the holidays with your friends and family. It is also perfect for a solo trip or a romantic getaway. Holiday getaway
Lovely, spacious and clean. We spent our Christmas holiday together with our family and the house was spacious and spotless. We had 5 adults with 2 small children in house. We hosted Christmas dinner for us and local family. Great space. Would love to rent in summer months to utilize outdoor space

Beyond expectations
This house and property really is as pictured. It was the perfect amount of space for casual gatherings and the bedrooms are large. Everything feels new with updated appliances, bathrooms, countertops, etc. the bathrooms are large, plenty of room for two in the master bath with the double sinks. I had trouble filling out my document on line and bothe Kevin and the property manager were responsive, patient, helpful and so nice!everything worked, loved the labeled light switches! The kitchen was stocked with more than you’ll need in terms of utensils - there was even a pad of paper, pens, scissors, and rubber bands! The area is just lovely for walking around - could get my 2 miles in with very few cars. Honestly, I can’t say enough! I would stay there again for sure.

I stayed at this property with 5 other adults for a long weekend and we loved everything about it! It was clean, well-furnished, and full of thoughtful additions (e.g, a snack basket, extra toiletries) that made us feel welcome. The short walk to the beach made for some lovely morning walks. All in all, our stay was phenomenal!

Our stay worked out great. I came with my wife, bother, sister-law, sister and niece to visit my sister in Westbrook. The house was perfect for our group and we enjoyed the local sites and eateries. Would definitely consider this place again when we visit.it was very clean and Kevin the owner even dropped off some coffee for our stay since they were out.

Together with our cousins we had such a lovely weekend stay. The house is beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. It is a short walk to the beach, and the kids enjoyed riding their bikes there. We drove to the bigger town beach one of the days which was also beautiful. Our favorite part was to hang on the covered patio at night time after dinner. Thank you for offering your home to us! Highly recommended.

Superior rental in Westbrook
We had a really nice stay at this house! It was very clean, beautifully updated with an open floor plan and in a quiet neighborhood. The communication before, during and after our stay with the owner / property manager was excellent. The amenities that were provided made it easy to not have to pack so much extra stuff (eg beach chairs, sheets, towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc). The only downside to the stay was while the beach was an easy, short walk, it was not accessible during high tide and during low tide was very small with no room to spread out. We ended up going to the town beach instead which was nice and pretty empty (8 minutes away; non-resident daily rate was $40 a day). If we end up back in Westbrook would definitely consider this property again!

Beautiful home!
The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars was because we're from FL and CT beaches just don't compare to our soft sand, no rock beaches. My poor feet aren't used to the rocks and shells. The neighborhood was very nice! The house was very clean.

We loved our time at the house. Kevin was a great host and was very responsive if we had any questions. The location to the beach is perfect, especially with smaller children. The house was extremely clean and a great layout for two families to stay together. I would highly recommend!

Home away from home, except better!
This is our first time staying at a house for a vacation and we had the best experience! This house is the best vacation home ever! Not only is it immaculate, but the entire set up was like a page out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine! I loved how it came with all of the amenities of a lived in home, plus more! I loved that I was able to find all of the utensils and dishes and all kitchen necessities for our needs during our stay. And then the beautiful private beach thats 5 minutes walk from the house! My husband and I took a stroll to that beach to catch the sunrise that you can witness coming up from the left side. It was so beautiful and serene! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

A beautiful home near the shore
Marji and Kevin's home in Westbrook is beautiful, with a spacious open floor plan and comfortable beds in each of the three bedrooms. We all loved the back patio and ate almost of our meals outside, surrounded by purple hydrangeas. The house is well located. We went to several nearby beaches, including the one in walking distance to the house, went on the Essex RR and Steamboat, and visited the Niantic Children's Museum and the Mystic Aquarium, all nearby. We had a wonderful vacation and would love to stay at Marji and Kevin's house again.

Many rules
Lovely home. Great locale. We were surprised by the long list of rules & work expected of us. We already know to leave any place as we found it or better. However, we were asked to wash towels & linens, take garbage cans to the curb, monitor the sprinkler times. I understand, but it's a bit much to be totally relaxing.

A well organized and well-designed house with everything a family needs including a shaded outdoor eating space. Everything was exceptionally clean and the spacious kitchen island allowed room for food prep and play. The neighborhood is charming and exceptionally quiet.

Weekend getaway
My husband and I were in town for a wedding. We brought along the grandparents to help with our infant and 2 older kids. Everyone had a great time. Beach is a short walk. The house had everything we needed, some things we forgot and more! Quiet little neighborhood, and everyone we met was kind. Again, great place for a family to stay.

Beautiful, pristine home which was perfect for our family during our daughter’s wedding weekend at the Waters Edge. Owner was very nice and responded very quickly to my questions. The only issue was the neighbors are in close proximity and seem to watching us the whole time.

Perfect place for a family getaway or small family reunion!
The house speaks quality! The kitchen allows for all to partake in cooking or gathering around and the meals prepared can be eaten together at the large dining room table or bistro table indoors or outdoors at the table in the shade or at the one in the sun! Sunbathing could happen at the private beach only a short walk away or in the private backyard on perfectly green grass! Kevin was super friendly and met every one of our needs in a prompt and kind manner, while also granting us the privacy hopes for! Many thanks for a splendid experience, Kevin! We highly recommend this vacation home.
