GENERAL SPACE

Get cozy in our single-level townhouse nestled in a quiet complex. Designed and built with natural wood features, this cabin sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a pull-out couch.

LOCATION

Unit #10 is located in the upper complex of Taluswood.

Our place is perfectly situated above Creekside Village with nearby access to ski-in and ski-out trails to save you from having to park your car at the bottom of the lift on busy days; ideal for skiers, snowboarders, and of course, mountain bikers.

Heading into the village? No problem! With your stay, you have a 24-hour reserved underground parking spot beneath the Delta Hotel in the heart of Whistler Village! Once parked, simply take the elevator up and you'll find yourself in front of El Furniture Warehouse.

LIVING AREA

Our cozy living room features a gas fireplace with a beautiful log mantel, a flat screen TV paired with a Samsung sound bar with a subwoofer that has AUX and Bluetooth capabilities so you can connect your own devices, and a sliding glass door for quick access to the beautiful, covered wood deck where you'll find a natural gas BBQ and two wooden rocking chairs perfect for taking in the mountainous views with a hot toddy in hand. All tile floors are heated, including the entranceway, the fully equipped kitchen, and both bathrooms. The dining area seats 6 comfortably, and the in-suite washer & dryer is a game changer for those who don't like to overpack.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

The master bedroom features a king size bed, a flat screen tv, and forest views. The master ensuite features a jacuzzi bathtub with an overhead shower perfect for relaxing those muscles after a long day on the mountain. The second bedroom features two twin (single) beds. The second bathroom is separate from the bedroom and features a glass-enclosed shower. Both bedrooms have individual room temperature controls and, as mentioned above, both bathrooms have heated floors.

SKI / BIKE ACCESS

For the mountain enthusiasts, access to the Dave Murray Downhill Trail is located just up Nordic Drive. Look for a sign across the road on the right of the trail. Please note that this trail is suitable for intermediate levels only and is not suitable for beginners. Head down theLower Dave Murray Downhill trail to reach the Creekside Gondola. The ski-in trail back home is located above the At Nature's Door complex off the Lower Dave Murray Downhill trail.

COMMUNAL HOT TUB & POOL

The communal outdoor hot tub and pool are located in the lower complex that makes up Taluswood. Please note that the hot tub is open year-round, and the pool is open mid-June to mid-September. There is a walkway at the end of Deerfern Lane that leads you down to the pool. There is limited parking available if you'd prefer to drive. There are also change rooms and washrooms on-site. Don't forget your pool key as you'll need it to enter AND exit the facilities.

Love it here!
This is our 3rd summer staying here and we love it. Immaculately clean and quiet. 8 minute drive to Whistler Village. Great communication with the host. I can't recommend this home enough!

Beautiful location in the forest
It was so nice to stay outside of Whistler Village and away from the crowds. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. Great location for hikes and biking.

This was a quiet property away from the busy village. The unit stayed cool on hotter summer days. Everything was clean and well supplied. The access to a reserved parking spot in the village made it convenient to access restaurants and shopping. The owner is also quick to respond to messages/answer questions.

An amazing experience
Our stay was nothing short of amazing. We lucked out in having great snow and two awesome days of skiing. None of that would have mattered if we didn't have a great place to stay at the end of each day. The space was clean, cozy, and well-appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was easy to access and easy to get around. Despite heavy snow, the roads up to the condo were promptly cleaned every morning. It's less than 10 minutes drive to Whistler Village. We took advantage of the reserved parking space there several times. By far the best part of our experience was the warm reception from our host. Communication in advance of our stay was great and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this spot for anyone visiting Whistler.

Annual Family Ski Trip
We loved our stay and would highly recommend it! The entire condo was well stocked and having a washer and dryer was wonderful! We really enjoyed using the free parking spot in Whistler Village and also having the one car garage with a place to hang our skis was so convenient. The owner was very responsive and helped us out with a request we made. We also used the grill one night and sitting in front of the gas fireplace every night was so relaxing after a day on the slopes. We were fortunate that 4 feet of snow fell on our 2nd day and we were able to use the ski in and out trails….but just a heads up that I don’t recommend that for beginners. I hope we will be able to visit again in the future!

Great bike in and out access retreat
Loved our stay up in taluswood. Everything we needed for a comfortable two week stay. Loved having the reserved spot in the village also. Easy bike in bike out access via creek side. The garage is a huge perk. Will be looking to stay next year. Bbq on back deck was nice, all kitchen tools to makes meals were there. Check in was easy

Good communication with host….location was very good, easy drive to village and free parking spot helps! We used the ski out and ski in trails….easy walk from condo unit. The cabin was cozy warm comfort and love the balcony for fresh mountain air. This was a nice changed from staying at the village from previous years…great spot if you like quiet mountain side.

Great walk on ski location
Fantastic property and communication from the hosts. It's about a 5 minute walk to ski the ski on point and a 10-15 minute walk from the ski off point for creekside. Great experience and our group loved it.

Quiet & Comfortable Condo
This was the perfect spot for my husband, son and I to explore Whistler. Huge bonus about the included parking spot in the Village to make it more accessible and easy to get in an out. We loved the quiet location, the comfortable furnishings and beds. The lovely communal pool was a hit for our 12 year old (and us) too. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for our family
We had a wonderful time staying here. The place was clean, well equipped, and up to date. Great wifi and TVs. Access to a pool and hot tub in the complex was a wonderful bonus. The location is great to access the area. The free parking in Whistler village is a huge bonus and shouldn’t be overlooked. Loved it.

Overall a great stay
We enjoyed our time here. Need a car to get to and from Creekside and/or Whistler Village - appreciated having dedicated parking in the latter. Place is clean and well stocked - more in the pantry than most places which was really appreciated! Couldn't figure out how to turn off the fan in the ensuite bathroom which was a bit annoying but just treated it like whitenoise and helped to keep the door closed when sleeping. Check-in details were provided the morning of which seemed a bit delayed in comparison to other places. Pool is great and heated.

This condo is comfortable, peaceful & well stocked. Creekside is quiet & away from the bustle of Whistler Village. My hubby& I appreciated the comfy king sized bed & I enjoyed having my morning coffees on the patio. The washer & dryer were quite handy as we got rained on almost every day. Communication & directions were clear. We enjoyed our time there.

Just what the family was looking for
We were looking for a different experience away from the village, but still convenient. This place worked out well for us! It was so peaceful and quiet there. The townhouse was clean, tidy, warmly decorated, and pleasant from the moment we entered. The garage for the car was great for storing our equipment. Also, the village parking spot was a perk. The short path to the unit does involve some stairs, but manageable since we knew in advance and packed gear duffels. The hosts were really helpful and responsive during communication.

Loved the log beam architecture of the entire complex! Decorating fit the architecture beautifully. Very comfortable and convenient to Whistler Village. Tucked away in a beautiful forest experience.
