This house has everything you need! Large open concept connects two living areas with a full kitchen. Reclining sofa and overstuffed recliner provide comfortable seating while overlooking the lake or relaxing inside to play games, stream TV or watch movies.

Maximum of 4 guests, including children and all guests must be registered. Children must be over the age of 6. The property and its facilities are for the use of the registered guests only. Guests may not bring additional people, no matter how long, and parties are strictly forbidden. Any unauthorized guests will result in a fee of $100/per guest/per day. If you have more than four total guests, contact host before booking.

Owners assume no responsibility for use of the lake - use is completely at your own risk. While this lake has no public access, there are four other private properties that border this lake. Those owners/families may be seen or heard during your stay.
This house is in a rural Alaska. We do take rigorous measures to keep the home clean, however sometimes we have seasonal dust, bugs & nature that’s beyond our control.
Disclosure: For security purposes, 2 actively recording security cameras (Ring motion sensor, recording device/porch light) above the front door of each dwelling. It records motion and audio on the front porch & driveway of main cabin from approximately the gazebo to the opposite side of driveway, & just the driveway/front door of cottage. There are no cameras on the interior of either property.

A piece of Alaskan heaven.
Nice cabin situated to taking in the view of the lake. Very comfortable, clean, a nice getaway, but still not too far from Talkeetna/towards Denali. Loved Being able to get on the lake with The provided kayaks/paddleboat. Host was responsive and make sure we had everything we needed.

This place was fantastic. There were so many amenities that I lost count. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, played corn hole and horse shoes. Great Stay!
We loved everything this house had to offer! Our favorites included use of the nice lake, paddle boat, kayaks, fishing gear, fire pits, & many outdoor and indoor games for all ages. The house was clean & comfortable for our family and the owner was very responsive to any questions. I also appreciated how the owner checked on us to see if there was anything else we needed or answer any questions we had. We also appreciated all the little amendities they provided and the welcome basket. They went above & beyond. We would definitely stay here again!

This lovely and well-appointed home had so many amenities and so many activities, we wished for much more time. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute, from the beautiful deck overlooking the lake, to the gazebo with fire pit, to the perfect floor plan taking advantage of the gorgeous views. Just wonderful, start to finish. We highly recommend this VRBO, especially if you have time to play family games and enjoy boating activities. We would definitely consider a return visit!

A cute property with amazing hosts!
What an amazing stay. The property is so cute! List of activities there, a plastic hatchet throwing station outside, board games inside. The windows look out on the lake and have blinds so it’s easy to sleep in the summer with less light. The place was very clean and the host was so responsive and very kind. Thank you so much!

This was a beautiful location and close enough to Talkeetna to spend time there. The home is comfortable with all that is needed to have a nice stay. The communication with the hosts was flawless and they are very welcoming. The gazebo and fire pit were very nice and relaxing.

Such a beautiful remote spot, still within easy range of mobility
Used this wonderful lakefront house as our home base for travels to Talkeetna, random moose wanders, and then farther north toward Denali. The house itself is wonderful. Beautiful property with a great pond (we kayaked with a pair of Pacific Loons). So pretty! The spiral stair case is a signature feature (with a downstairs bedroom for those that don't navigate it). Well equipped throughout. Communication with owner was great before during and after our trip. So glad we chose to stay here. Thank you!!!

This comfortable cabin was a beautiful spot to spend a rainy day. The gazebo was a dry spot to enjoy the beauty without getting wet. Good location for exploring Denali area. We would like to come back for a longer (and maybe less rainy) visit.

Quiet retreat in front of a lovely little lake.
This is a wonderful cabin, with gorgeous views of what feels like your own lake, even though it is shared by other houses. The loft bedroom is nice and open, and faces huge windows overlooking lake and forest.(Could use a little washing). The downstairs bedroom is nice and cozy and feels like a dark den. All bedrooms and living room room have a tv. The loft and open spaces all have seating facing lake. Large property with a short trail, fire pits and outdoor games, boats; great family fun, although good for singles too. Views of lake allows for wildlife viewing, including moose and loons. Cabin has a cold/hot water dispenser for those who might not want the well water. Rather noisy at times. Bathroom small with a simple shower. Several coffee brewing options for caffeine lovers. All in all, a good place to stay for a family or people looking for a quiet, isolated place.

Awesome place!
This place was incredible. Clean and had a lot of extras like bug spray (very much needed) and snacks. View is amazing, kind of in the middle of no where but places to get groceries and a restaurant near-ish. The lake was so peaceful and the kayaks were so fun to use.

Comfy Place to Relax
This rental experience was great! The owner is very kind and easy to communicate with. The property is exactly as advertised. We saw a female moose one night drinking from the lake, which was fun to see. The kitchen is stocked with the necessities, and the owner left a basket of treats and coffee as well. The coffee maker is a Keurig that allows for pods and the flexibility to make a full pot of coffee, which is nice. We didn't use the fireplace or lake accessories, but they all looked great. The bed in the master is really comfortable too! We would stay here again. Notes on the area: From this location, we were able to take a spectacular fall drive to Independence Mine for a hike, and we were wowed by the colors and the snow along the way. We did a grocery shopping stop at Cubby's and they had most of what we needed/looked for. If coming from Anchorage, I would recommend shopping in a larger town if you want more specialty foods or seafood (Cubbys had zero seafood and we didn't fish on this trip).

Getaway in Alaska
Every time we visit Alaska we are not disappointed. This time was no exception! The house sits at the top of a lake and has everything you need inside and out to make your stay perfect. Darryl is a great communicator and checks in to makes sure that all is well. The house is fully stocked with supplies and the yard/lake don't disappoint either. Darryl even left us some sweets to satisfy our sweet tooths! We loved the house and property. Close to Talkeetna, too.
