High Peaks Chalet is a luxurious vacation home, custom built with lavash features, nestled in the Adirondack Mountains! This Adirondack retreat has incredible mountain views and amenities galore, on 15 private acres with an additional 1500 forever wild acres, this home is an Adirondack paradise. It was built by an entrepreneur and his wife with custom wood on the walls throughout the entire home. The property owners visit the Adirondacks often. They added high-end amenities such as a Verona Italian 6 burner gas stove and double oven, custom cabinetry crafted by a local artisan, a sound system that runs lower level, main level, and a front porch and rear deck, 40" gas fireplace, Libeher refrigerator, in-floor heating on all three floors, 3 bidets, and so much more.

This is a gorgeous 4 Bedroom, 3.5 Full Bath Chalet, Sleeps 10, Spectacular Views, and we're Dog-Friendly! Maximum of 3 dogs. We do not allow cats or any other animals other than dogs!

Bedroom Details:
High Peaks Chalet sleeps 10 people. There are four bedrooms, each with a King bed. It comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms. 1 queen-sized foam mattress is available that can accommodate up to 2 additional people. If there are 10 guests, please know space will be tight, but you're on vacation and are free to decide what you prefer.

The main bedroom is on the lower level and has an incredible view of Whiteface Mountain from the large patio door. Barn doors can be closed to darken the room when desired. It's spacious and has stamped cement heated floors with Smart TV and an ensuite bathroom. This room has a King bed, desk/chair, and doors leading to the hot tub walkway, with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain.

The second and third bedrooms on the second floor share a split bathroom with a steam shower, a double sink on one side, and a separate room with a toilet. Both bedrooms are stylish and comfortable, with lush quilts and plenty of pillows.

The fourth bedroom in the carriage house features a king bed, table, 2 chairs, coffeemaker, creamers and stirrers, and an ensuite bathroom. This bedroom has a Smart TV and a WIFI system.

All bedrooms boast flat-screen televisions, closets, drawers, warm color schemes, and comfy linens. The carriage house bedroom also has a ceiling fan. Bedsheets and bath towels are included. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night's sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment, and spare blankets are available for chilly nights.

Bedrooms are equipped with ceiling lighting as well as side table lamps that offer a softer glow for watching TV or relaxing.

For your comfort, every room has A/C to use as needed. In the winter, there are heated floors on every level.

Bathroom Details:
There are three immaculately clean, full bathrooms at High Peaks Chalet and one-half bathroom. Each bathroom in this amazing chalet is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The full bathrooms: Main house upstairs bathroom has a steam shower with a glass door, toilet, and bidet, the lower level has a combination tub and shower and glass door, toilet, and bidet. The upstairs bathroom has double sinks, a massive shower with a rain shower head and a handheld shower head, a large bench, a toilet and bidet, and floor-to-ceiling tiles. The mirrored medicine cabinets and vanities have ample space to store your belongings. The primary bathroom on the lower level has a single sink, vanity, and tub/shower combination. The full bathroom in the carriage house for the 4th bedroom is cozy. It has a shower with subway tile, a shelf to store your products, and a small sink. Half Bath: The half bath has a sink, commode, bidet, washing machine, and dryer for your convenience. It is located near the living room.

Sauna: On the lower level is a full sauna, perfect for sore muscles, relaxing after a good hike, rejuvenating your muscles, and good health!

The open-plan living room, dining, and kitchen at High Peaks Chalet are the perfect place for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. The living area offers amazing views of Whiteface Mountain. It features a comfortable couch, 2 upholstered chairs, 2 window benches left and right of the fireplace, a large smart flat-screen television with streaming only, stereo with built-in speakers providing audio to the main level, lower level, front and back porch, and a large 40" gas fireplace.

Kitchen:
Our kitchen is fantastic! With large custom cabinets made from trees harvested from the local area, granite countertops, appliances imported from Italy and Germany, and a full complement of tools and high-end appliances, you'll enjoy preparing fantastic meals for the entire crew! A large custom dining table and chairs enable your group to eat and gather together adjacent to the kitchen. A landline cordless phone, wireless internet, plus local phone calling (USA only) are conveniently provided. Long-distance calls are not included. However, you can make a video or regular calls over Wi-Fi via appropriate apps!

Outdoor Living:
The outdoor living space at High Peaks Chalet is sure to please you with fantastic amenities to help you maximize your vacation enjoyment. Views of Whiteface from the firepit, porch, and deck are breathtaking. The deck contains a 5-person hot tub, dining table, and chairs. There are 2 grills by the carriage house, one is very large. This is a 15-acre property that aligns with 1500 acres of forever wild state land.

The following items are minimally supplied (only enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bed sheets, comforters/quilts, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We do not supply condiments, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, body soaps, or charcoal. We supply salt and pepper and hotel-sized bath soaps to get you started. The carriage house has a coffee maker, 2 mugs, creamers, and stirrers. Please bring the coffee and coffee filters.

A plow service shovels snow (above 5 inches) in winter. Sand and a snow shovel are available on the front deck for guest use. All-wheel drive is highly recommended in the winter.

The location of High Peaks Chalet is perfect for couples, families, adventurers, nature lovers, shoppers, foodies, and everyone else! Children will delight in roasting marshmallows at the firepit, making s'mores, and sharing stories from the day!

The home is ideally situated just 2.4 miles from Whiteface Mountain Resort, a 15-20 minute drive from Lake Placid, and steps from hiking trails ranging from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. You can view the mountain and beaver pond where the Hardy Bike trails are located. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 5-minute drive from the chalet.

Boasting over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts, Whiteface Mountain has the most extraordinary vertical drop east of the Rockies. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades and slides for the advanced, and loads of trails for everyone in between! The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail,' and total skiing/boarding stretches over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone! In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, and more. Lake Everest is in Wilmington and has a beach, boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, etc.

High Peaks Chalet is kept clean, and the owners and rental team take tremendous pride in ensuring that it is perfect for each guest's vacation. Our handyman service is on call 24 hours a day for any issue during your stay.

Select USA & Canadian holidays are subject to a 3 to 5-night minimum stay, otherwise there is a 2-night minimum stay. Pricing includes nightly rent, cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee, and 5% Essex County bed tax. The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, and any home resource up to $1,500. If damages exceed $1,500, guests agree to cover the difference.
