The space
Welcome to your idyllic home away from home in the charming city of York! Step inside and be captivated by the rich tapestry of rustic charm and modern comfort that awaits your family or group of 6. Our delightful Airbnb offers a truly inviting stay that will create cherished memories for years to come.
GROUND FLOOR:
As you enter, the ground floor welcomes you with an expansive and open dining area bathed in natural light, courtesy of large windows that grace the front of the property. The elegant dining table seats 6 people comfortably, making it the ideal spot for enjoying delicious meals and heartwarming conversations together.
A huge mirror adorns the wall, reflecting the warmth of wooden floors that run throughout the space. But the centerpiece stealing the show is the grand fireplace and chandelier, emanating a cozy ambiance that invites you to unwind and make yourself at home. Sink into plush sofas in the spacious living area, where relaxation takes precedence, and a touch of rustic charm enchants your senses.
Entertainment is at your fingertips with a large 55-inch smart TV, boasting a plethora of streaming services like Netflix, BBC, and more, ensuring that every movie night is a cinematic experience to remember. Guests will need to login to their own accounts to use these. Stay connected with loved ones back home through the property's high-speed WiFi, offering up to 69 Mbps download and 17 Mbps upload speeds.
Adorned with twin doors that open out into the back garden, the ground floor effortlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, allowing you to embrace the serene beauty of your private outdoor sitting area.
KITCHEN:
Prepare to be delighted by the kitchen's open skylight, which bathes the space in natural light, making culinary adventures a joyous experience. The deep Belfast sink adds a touch of elegance, and the modern conveniences of a dishwasher and Samsung washing machine promise to make your stay seamless.
Complimentary tea/coffee is provided if you would like a hot drink on arrival. We also offer a small complimentary kitchen pack consisting of dishwasher tubs, washing machine tubs, fairy liquids and sponges.
For the aspiring chefs among you, a large 5-burner hob awaits, perfect for crafting wonderful home-cooked meals that will have everyone's taste buds singing with delight.
FIRST FLOOR:
As you ascend the stairs, you'll discover three tastefully appointed double bedrooms, each offering ample wardrobe and hanging space for all the clothes you'll need during your stay. The back bedroom boasts an ensuite shower, wash basin, and W/C, ensuring utmost privacy and convenience.
Additionally, another well-appointed bathroom awaits, featuring a free-standing bath, where you can indulge in relaxation as you soak away the day's adventures. Complete with a wash basin and W/C, this bathroom ensures that every guest's needs are catered to.
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. All linen is of hotel quality ensuring you have a restful stay.
EXTERIOR:
The charm continues outdoors with a quaint bricked off backyard, providing a private oasis for peaceful moments and cherished family gatherings under the open sky.
TOP FLOOR:
Please note that the top floor is designated for storage and not accessible to guests. However, fret not, as the ample space in the other rooms of the property ensures you have all the comfort and amenities needed for an unforgettable stay.
PARKING
Due to the central location of my property, we are not able to offer parking to guests. The nearest 24/7 car park is Q-Park located on Kent Street, a short distance from the property.
Managed by a professional co-host of Airbnb, this property is professionally cleaned and the linen/ towels are removed from the property after each stay and replaced with freshly laundered supplies. The property is set up to offer remote access with easy self check in and we also offer 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule. No parties, Hen/Stag do's or smoking allowed. Please be respectful of neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
