Lake Como and surrounding area is so pretty Pickup was easy and waiting for customers to arrive. Our guide Kevin was full of so much information told us all sorts of information on the ride to Como ......He gave us time to look around told us where comfort stops were and best places to eat and our meet up time back at bus boat ride was great, and we were told the history about different places we passed I don't think anything could have been improved value for money

The morning started off as a cluster f. When I arrived 5 minutes before the meeting time, the tour guide told me to go check with the other 10 busses that was parked in the same square, without even checking their list to see if my name was on there, or look at my booking on my phone. That was a good 10-15 minutes of me running around confused and panicked. I eventually ran back to them to ask another person to check their list again, and there I was. I was fuming, and that was not a good impression at all and sort of dampened the rest of my experience. The attitude of the guide didn’t make the tour less awkward either but hey, I understand we all have had bad days on the job and they actually completed the job while handling such a problematic start, so fair enough. The tour itself is pretty standard, book it if you want to be escorted places and do not want to plan the whole journey yourself (which of course costs a lot less). Expect the standard large touristy groups and sticking to a specific time in places.

We made our reservation for September 14, 2024. We were not able to access our tickets from our email. Then, we went to the Viator Tour Website and chatted with Customer Service. They advised us to to the the local tour office. So, we went to the local office, ZaniViaggi Tour Company, located on Largo Cairoli in Milan. We gave them our confirmation number and booking reference, but they said that could not see our reservation nor the tour existed for the day 9/14/24. We had customer service on the phone trying to coordinate with the local tour guide. But, the local tour guide reiterated that no tour existed for 9/14/24. From there, we were left unassisted without a tour or refund by Viator.

Morandi tours did not not have a kiosk and people were panicked. We waited in line to pester the coordinators for the check in. There were 3 buses, not all going on the same tour. There were no sticker to indicate which tour group we were following. Our guide clearly lacked experience. She did not give the duration time to reach each destination. When asked, she gave the wrong time estimates. She did not warn that lunch time would be late i.e when we reach Bellagio at 13h45. We had too much time in Como city (2hrs) which was the first stop and were consequently late to take the ferry from tremezzo to bellagio. In Bellagio we had only 1.5 hrs to lunch and visit. The driver was an excellent one. Well skilled to manage the bus through the narrow streets and sharp turns.

What an enjoyable tour! My sincere thanks to Messhua, Aggie, and the Driver who constructed a flawless, witty, and memorable tour! Also, p.s. I made it to MXP for my flight!!! This was additionally what I appreciated about those three, who heard the cry and responded! XD The rest of my thanks I leave to the Big Guy!!
