The Pool House

At The Pool House, you can enjoy your time no matter the weather! The indoor heated swimming pool and the sauna are both fun and relaxing. This house sits out in Stowe Hollow with easy access to the center of Stowe and quick access to the Pinnacle. The living room has a beautiful stone chimney with a large TV screen and a gas fireplace which is the center of the living space. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors all along the front of the house allow you to bring the outside to the inside in the living room, dining room and office space. The indoor heated swimming pool with a depth of 8ft is in a room of the back of the house which also has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. In this room are also a sauna for your enjoyment. The kitchen with new appliances is just off the dinning room, this has a nice breakfast nook looking out over the back yard. There are two bedrooms on the main level, one has two twin beds and an en suite bathroom. The Master bedroom is the other side of the office with an en suite bathroom. Upstairs is an open room with a sliding door that opens up onto a deck where you can see views of Mount Mansfield. This bedroom has a set of bunk beds and around the corner is a queen size bed. There is also a full en suite bathroom for this large upper level bedroom . On the main level there is a recreation room with a large screen TV and two twin beds. Outside there is a deck with a table & chairs . In the evening you can enjoy the fire pit located just off the deck in the back yard, if you venture through the trees along the worn path you will come across a beautiful stream .

Beyond expectations!
Great amenities and great location. House is well equipped. Awesome to have the heated indoor in-ground pool, especially as the temps drop outside. Very responsive hosts with lots of great recommendations for things to do locally and places to eat. Will certainly repeat the rental on a return trip!

Wonderful House in Beautiful Setting
We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. The setting is lovely--in a peaceful neighborhood about 15 minutes from most shops and restaurants in Stowe. The trailhead for an awesome hike with spectacular views is right around the corner. The layout of the house allowed for our family of four to spread out and everyone got space and plenty of privacy. We swam in the pool every day of our stay--sometimes multiple times. We loved this house and would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful home in Stowe!
My husband and I took our 3 boys, niece, and nephew (ages 8-14) for an early summer vacation. This was actually our 2nd trip to this home (first in March 2021), and it is really great to see all of the improvements the owners continue to put into the home (new furniture, another TV, 2 split ACs on main level and window unit in upstairs bedroom, outdoor furniture/fire pit). The indoor pool is always a hit - kids were able to swim despite a couple of days of rain. Plenty of pool towels and some pool toys. Plenty of space in the home for large groups. Kitchen is small but well stocked. Location was in a quiet, peaceful area with an easy drive into town. We would be more than happy to stay in this home again. Thanks so much!

I’m not one to leave reviews so please continue. Look NO further for a Stowe home away from home! My family and I (my wife & our 3 children 7 & under) had the pleasure of sharing in Danielle and Fred’s home and it was thoroughly enjoyed! The home is on a beautiful property offering sunsets, rustling tree leaves, a stream, mountain vistas, and woods to hike. It’s within minutes of all that Stowe has to offer. You can be in town quickly and the areas attractions are all also within a short drive. It’s beautiful with an attention to detail and a design to create options for enjoyment from dinner parties, barbecues, drinks around the fire pit, as well as enjoying the perfectly heated indoor pool, and dry sauna. It has walls of windows to merge nature with the home, an interior layout promoting group interaction while affording separation and privacy. Our children were excited about the pool and upon first seeing it they exclaimed, “This is the best day ever!” The sleeping areas solve almost any circumstance. Most rooms have en-suite bathrooms or easy access. Each area offers its own level of privacy. The beds were comfortable and sit in well-appointed rooms. Kitchen, laundry, dining, and family rooms are great. Danielle and Fred - attentive, friendly, accommodating, responsive, and made us feel like family. We arrived to a warm welcome note and a thoughtful gift. We also found another kind gesture that excited our kids. I’m running out of characters/space so…Book with confidence!

Serene getaway
We absolutely love this place. We are currently booking our 4th year staying here between Christmas and New Years and couldn’t be happier. It’s clean, has all the amenities we could hope for, is beautifully decorated and plenty of room for the whole family. The kitchen is so well stocked with anything you could want, especially when it comes to coffee. They recently renovated the flooring going up and in the upstairs area and it’s beautiful. Anything that has come up, which has been very little, is addressed by the owner’s promptly and with a friendly demeanor every time. If we could make one recommendation, it would be to add an internet extender for the home. We now just bring our own, but the house is very long and is set in the woods on the mountain, so we’ve found at certain times of day the internet is spotty. Not a huge deal as we are there to spend time with the family, but never hurts. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Amazing Estate
This is a wonderful property. Obviously the indoor pool and guest rooms will luxurious, but I think the owners also undersold the views of the sunsets, the fire pit in the backyard, and the little stream running in the woods behind the house. We enjoyed every inch of this property rain and shine. It did rain almost every day during our stay so having the pool indoors was a must. Danielle and her husband were wonderful hosts and took care of all our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Property!
I stayed for a week with my wife and kids, and we had an awesome time. The house is beautiful, equipped with absolutely everything you need. The kids enjoyed the pool very much. At night we used the firepit making s'mores and enjoying some well-deserved family time. Highly recommended!!

Great stay at the Pool House
The home is in a fantastic location in Stowe with Pinnacles trailhead within walking distance. The layout worked great to provide everyone his/her own space. The pool was a hit, especially with several rainy days during our stay. The home was very well stocked - pool towels and toys, everything we needed for the kitchen, games, bath towels, etc. We would definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

Amazing house
This is the 2nd year that we have stayed at the house and we absolutely love it here. The decor is so welcoming, homey and classy all in one. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathrooms are filled with anything you would need, ie., shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. The view from the living room is amazing! The owners are very welcoming and very fast with responses to any questions you might have. Couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Fantastic for four generations
My extended family stayed here for a week this summer. The oldest family member was 91 years old and the youngest was one year old. The property was great for all of us- the main floor of the house was easy for my grandmother to walk around and the upstairs loft was perfect for my sister's family (including her 1 year old and 7 year old). The two living spaces made sure we weren't on top of each other and that the kids could have some peace and quiet to nap without all of us having to be quiet. The kitchen was big - we were able to cook together. The pool was fantastic - locked so it was safe, warm, and provided an indoor-outdoor experience. We would go back in a heartbeat - I may already be planning for our next trip.

Great secluded spot, but not far from town
This property was great! Very comfortable and spacious, nice appliances, comfortable beds, great pool, and the property is gorgeous. Communication was great. The only “complaint” (and I use that very loosely) is that i somehow missed that there was no AC and it was hot and humid enough to really want it. I won’t remove any stars because that was my mistake in not looking closely, but this is meant to make sure others are aware. There were fans in a few rooms, so we were fine, but a window unit in the rooms would have been lovely and made the visit perfect. Suggestion to owner: think about installing an exterior outlet that can handle a trickle charge for electric cars. The nearest Tesla supercharger was a half hour away and while we made it work, it would have been nice to not deal with needing to drive out to charge during our stay. It’s a quick, decently cheap install and would be a selling point!

So close to being really good
The property is great, but there are a few simple things that could be done that would make a huge difference. You can just tell that the property managers haven't lived there in a while. Firstly, hardly any of the windows have screens in them. This would be a simple fix to allow some airflow in the summer. Secondly, the room with the two single beds has a giant window that faces the sun & no shade/curtains on the window. That's just lazy. Lastly, much of the bedding/pillows are very weird/uncomfortable. I also didn't appreciate being told I had to have the place "broom clean" when I'm being charged a cleaning fee. This shouldn't dissuade you from staying here though. The property overall is awesome and we had a great time. These were more mild annoyances than anything.

Awesome Heated Pool!!!
Our group consisted of 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space for all of us. The host was very responsive and made the entire experience very positive. If the bathrooms had been more updated, this property would have received an all 5 star rating.

Perfect stay for a ski trip
The property was great. The pool was a big hit with the kids after a day on the slopes. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was as described in the post. We would stay here again.
